Shadriss Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I like stuff that makes sense. This makes sense. Thus, short of game breaking errors, I like this. In short - you steal stuff and nobody sees you do it, it's not marked as stolen in your inventory. It has a 500G limit to this, the idea being anything more valuable than this will likely be pretty easily identifiable, and the original owner will likely put more effort into seeing it retrieved. Ganda Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) Looked at it, tested it, loved it, recommend it. EDIT: Also, it's just a SKSE plugin. Literally no reason not to use this. Edited May 2, 2016 by Ganda
TechAngel85 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I've had this one open in a tab for a few days. I'm just tracking it to see if any major issues are found or not. If not, I'm all for adding this to STEP.
Hackfield Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 (edited) I'd also recommend Crash Fixes, from the same author, it prevents several crash failures, there is also a beta (in the LL site) with a workaround for the string count issue, it works very well so far, He will probably include it in the next version. Also, the optionals files from Uninterrupted Invisibility and Ethereal Form, I've been using all of them and they are pretty stable so far. Edit: also, all of them are skse plugins only, seems like the author knows how to do his stuff the right way. Edited May 2, 2016 by Hackfield
TirigonX Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 I'm sceptical about that crash fix mod. Wouldn't you risk to get corrupt save files over time? If the game crashes there's obviously something going wrong. If you just ignore errors and keep playing, these errors are still present and who knows what happens if these errors stack. Shutting down and restarting is sometimes the better idea imo. The Better Stealing mod looks interesting. It fixes something that has annoyed me since Morrowind.
TechAngel85 Posted May 2, 2016 Posted May 2, 2016 The crash fixes I would say should only be used by those experiencing those issues. The game never crashes or freezes on me regardless of how long I play.
