Actually i found the problem: ASIS inis must be configured to use with Deadly Dragons assault mode, if no config is made, the assaults result in lots of dragons in interiors. Somehow i managed to kill 8 dragons in that room, but now i have to wait a few days to clear that cell, the bones don't let me advance. The fps drop was caused by the huge amount of dragons in the same place, but when i opened any menu there the fps went back to 60fps (since all animations stop). Just too much giant things on the screen... After 4 months modding this game, finilly i having good results, so my laptop can handle all my mods. But still, too many mods that need configuration to solve the conflicts.

Ok, i have put that line on both .ini files, but i found what is my real problem. There is 10 Skeleton Dragons inside the cave (Labirintian, quest The Staff of Magus). So the fps goes to limbo because of so many huge creatures in a small place. Now i need to get rid of that bug somehow... :confused:

Where do i put that line? Found a cave that i went from 60fps to 0.5 fps!!! @_@

So, DDLOD 2.11 is out in Nexus... Do i need to update from 1.49 to this new version if i want a better performance with the low settings? Or this new version is not just about better performance?

Usually i follow STEP recmomendations, sometimes i tweak a little: Auto Unequip Ammo > STEP BFS Effects > 10%/75% ME and 5%/50% NPCs, steam ON and rest OFF. Come Together > jump 100, rest default. Complete Crafting > generic materias for craft, all salvage materials OFF, rename glass/cooper/mithril. Convenient Horses > just horses for followers ON, rest default. Deadly Spell Impacts > STEP Dual Sheath Redux > all ON (followers get double staffs on back sometimes). Dual Wield Parrying > i don't use, i play with joystick. DynDOLOD > low settings for my weak pc ^^ Enhanced Blood > max 5, last 5s, blood on weapon/clothes 60s (usually it never disapiers, so i need to remove my clothes to force it) Factions > doh Footprints > max 20, 10 for FX. Immersive HUD > i don't install this junk, it hides the compass permanently... Lanterns of Skyrim > STEP Lock Overhaul > I just check to receive exp/report crime, but i open all chests with lockpicks, so smash and magic all OFF. Minty's Lightning > 30s and hostile on both sides (dunno whats the right side does). Not So Fast > 2 days. SkyUI > i just uncheck maps swf errors, 'cause i use atlas map makers. Thieves Guild Requirements > default (but i dont use this mod anymore) Timing is Everything > all default, ebony warrior 75 (but i dont use this mod anymore) Trade and Barter > i turn on and reduce even more the sell prices by 10%, also i set 750g for all blacksmithers. Wet & Cold > rain and snow with blur, breath and drops ON, all auto clothes changes OFF (weak pc). Wonders of Weather > Shooting stars 40s, rest default. My mods: XPMSE > Just quivers and bolt quivers with frostfall style. Sexy Move > i don't use anymore because my pc can't handle FNIS PCEA2 > i don't use anymore because my pc can't handle UFO > max 6 followers, friendly fire ON for everyone. SPERG > almost default... Imperious Races > Harrier 0% chance (got serious issues with this once) **During Wrye Bash i also set arrow speed to 2x and cell respawn times to half. There is more, but i'm at work now so i can't check.

On my weak laptop SKSE takes 10s and main menu 20s to load. Thats with game + MO installed on SSD, the same for game on HDD and MO on SSD, and +10s on main menu for game + MO on HDD. Check if you drivers, bios and softwares are up to date, they may be not...

I have this problem very rarely, the char don't move and the camera shake, but i just quit and reload the game to fix. Very odd... BTW, where can i learn more about the [iNPUT] section?

Well, finilly after months of suffering my game is running fine! The FPS is a bit low in some populated places (15-25 FPS) but the graphics are very good for my laptop. I have chosen less mods to install from that previous list, add ASIS and now i got 385 plugins in total, 241 .esp files, with only 3 merges made. I can play 5 hours without any CTD, the massive FPS drop when i open the crafting menu was gone also, thanks to the AutodetectVideoMemorySize=true in the ENB ini (a must have for laptops). Vivid Waters, Wonder of Waters and Wet & Cold are really wonderfull together... As anything in life, perfection cost experience!

Maybe some windows registry issues? Try a cleaner tool, like CCleaner. I use this tools once a week to keep the system health.

I did expended 4 days with this guide, just to make sure everything end up well. It was a bit confusing but not impossible XD Unfortunately i got an odd bug where all my guns are pointing to up-left of my screen, not to the center. So i gave up of this game for a while. Tell us about your results.

It says: Install the Ultimate HD Fire Effects -Medium Resolution- main file and the Ultimate HD Candle Flames optional file. And thats all Ok so i will skip it next time.

I don't know if it is reported yet and this not exacly a bug, but... After installing the STEP extended there is a file that MO flag as redundant: Ultimate HD Fire Candles -> overwritten by STEP patches in 2.N It is safe to delete this files flaged as redundant in MO? Do i need to install that fire candles mod before the patches mod?

No much a RAM or VRAM problem imo. Memory issues cause instant CTD. I usualy see this happens when a get 5 grids near a buged cell/place. Since the game loads things when you get 5 grids(game units) near the thing it need to load, the buged mod/script cause this problem. BUT, if you coc toa place inside the buged grid, the game probly will load (50% chance). I did a few tests with this bugs time ago. You can test and see if this is your case, and if yes, chech the mods that change something related to that place.

Sorry to ressurect this topic ^^ This Ace Combat is new to me and it seems a lot more balanced than SPERG, which i'm currently using. Maybe i haven't found it early because it is too old (i'm a new Skyrim player), but i'll try it instead of SPERG soon. I have Deadly Combat+Deadly Dragons+all enemies at my lvl, to balance the game with SPERG, so the powerfull perks meets the powerful enemies. Maybe i should consider using ASIS, dunno... Should i? Another perks mod i saw was Ordinator, but seriously, that's a joke! Just from the description, it turns you imortal and 1-hit killer before lvl 50. >.<

I have W10Pro for 6 months now, and its a nice update from W7. I just dislike hate the warning pop-up when raising volume with headphones. But one think that Microsoft really needs to change is the outdated NTFS! Untill all the great game companies change their softwares from using directx dlls to shader dlls, we have to sticks with Windows, but some day in a very distant future, maybe Linux will be a game plataform... at least Valve belives in that!

I'm doing a new installation of step, but this last version of enb .305 have some misisng files i think. Since i'm using a Nvidia Optimus laptop video card, the injector folder is the right choice for me, but it only have 3 files in that folder: ENBInjector.exe, enbinjector.ini and enbseries.dll. Also it ask to run the exe file before opening the game and close when not running the game (in Readme.txt). So, without a enblocal.ini and with the need to run this file before MO/SKSE, will the game works right?

Reinstalled and a few weapons are working now in 3rd person view, also the starter rifle in 1st person, but nothing works if i press the zoom button (LB). Another game that i will leave for when i get a better PC... Tkx anyway.

I use that, both :D Also i keep a save inside Alternate Start cell, to load before my main save. The game fails to load the main save 90% of time. I think my only problem is the excessive number of animations. The crash fixes informs that everytime the game CTD, also it informs about broken textures with torches, but the game dont CTD with any torch (maybe a false warning?) Dunno about Sarcasm problem source, there's so many causes. Last time i modded the game i had 407 mods on left tab, lots of merged plugins to reduce the right tab count to <230, and this weak laptop that fails on me... XD Sorry, i'm not helping much with the question this way :p

I have this problems for months now... I took a break of Skyrim because is umplayable with step extended+my 100 mods. Did you noticed when you open the save cleaner that it show some msg saying you have a high number of active scripts? Mine are always around 2k-10k scripts running, and this is the cause of constant CTD and save corruptions for me. Also, whats causing this is animations! Sexy move, XP extended esqueleton, and all other animations i use. When i get a better PC i will play again, because now is impossible.

After almost 4 days modding New Vegas with the Fear and Loathing tutorials, i'm finilly done! The game is running perfect, with good fps also. BUT i have some strange bug when i have a weapon out, see pics: ^ 1st person with zoom ^ 1st person And its the same in 3rd person, all my shoots goes to uper left (where the gun is pointing) and not to the center of the screen, where the cross is. I don't know this game or the mods for it yet, so i'm lost with this problem. Any suggestion?
