Less Intrusive HUD II! Found a while ago, were trying it out, and dammit, GREAT MOD! This should be included in the STEP-Extended! It's so good! -
Hail! So, i think it's here i may post this question, if not please, redirect me to the correct forum D: Followed STEP-Extended but in the end, i still feel like the HUD is a little too big for my taste... https://imgur.com/pYSkaQu Anyone know of any mods that could lower the size of that interface? Besides the mods in STEP-Extended, i'm using MoreHUD and iNeed. Anyone could point me, to a mod, or even a config, that can make it smaller that text in the middle of the screen? Hail! It's a simple enough question actually, it's been a long time away from skyrim, and now that i've returned, for some reason that i cannot discover why, some sentences around the MCM menu are overlapping. For exemple, here at the CCOR the Mining Preset's https://imgur.com/a/aBAGg What i would like to know, is if there is anywhere, where i can adjust the size of those texts.

Hail everyone! One thing that i've just noticed, is that the placeable objects from hearthfire, need another mods to be moved, or even removed, as it is stated by the author on the Mods page. So, i ask of you, what mod would the STEP guide be more compatible with? Jaxonz Positioner for exemple? Or any other better suited for all the mods allready installed by STEP? Sorry if double post, but couldn't seem to find a question about it.

Strange Black Lines and Solid Shadows

HaiL! So i feedback, i've done some really low work with Afterburner, just upped my Core Clock Memory Clock and Power Use, and well, for some time not a single time that happened :3 Thx for the tip ;3 Also, after the changes, i got a solid 60 FPS on almost everywhere now, a lot more stable. I were really capping the max VRAM. -
Hail! I've followed STEP and added somethings i like, only gameplay wise, from Skyrim Revisited. Everything semmed fine, until, suddenly this started popping up. Those strange shadows stay on until i get close to the object, then disappear for moments. If i get away, the shadows reappear. Well, i really doesn't know what the hell could be wrong =z Anyone could point me the direction to fix this? I've gonne STEP till the end, installed DynDLOD as it is shown in the Wiki. Could be a bug on DynDLOD or something else? Skyrim.ini SkyrimPref.Ini Near Far

Hail everyone! I stand here looking everywhere for a answear, but i can't seen to find one. Maybe i'm just dumb and can't use the Search Tool very well... Or google for instance, but both failed me, so i create this post. So, it's really simple, i've been wanting to go with a Setup using some elements of STEP, some elements of Skyrim Revisited and PerKus Maximus, adding some little mods for convinience here and there. Here is my Load Order > https://pastebin.com/h8C0GL1P My Skyrim Ini > https://pastebin.com/hMc5NyRL My SkyrimPrefs Ini > https://pastebin.com/JfgGXHY0 So, i've allready played with a similar load order for some time, adding only Death Alternative and Death Alternative - Captured (nothing from the 18+ site, only those mods), and i've had some problems with D.A, a lot of CTDs when dying, and stuff. So, i wanted to ask, with this load order, what kind of mods, should i put on the Patchus Maximus Blocklist? Would, it help me with that isntability, i've seen some ppl saying that blocking D.A would help with CTDs using PerMa, but other places said the completly oposite, so i'm really without a clue what to do xD I'm running this on a 16 GB RAM / 3 VRAM Card / i7-4790 3.60Hz / 1Tera HDDs I remember, that some time ago, like a year past, i've managed to make this setup work on this very same machine, but i had to format the PC and lost my mods =\ So, anyone could direct me to how make this setup work xD? Btw, sorry for bad grammar, english isn't my home language, and sorry if posting the wrong forum but general support seemed the right place for this one =z

Strange Crashing on Windows 10

Well, my pc is a normal Desktop, only thing related to this service that i may have used, is that i have a digital table for painting and stuff. Btw, a little update, it really was that service, i've let skyrim open over night to test it, and yeah, still working on the morning =P -
TL/DR Version: If you're using Win10, and your skyrim, even Vanilla, is crashing from 10/20 minutes or so, without any sort of explanation, try killing the proces TabTip.exe and TabTip32.exe on your taskmanager, for some reason for me and some ppl on steam forums, this process is crashing a lot of games. Long Version: Hail everyone! Been a long time since i've been here, and now i'm coming to you with a strange bug that i have recently found and lost so many battles against. Strangely, for some reason, after following the STEP guide, i've found myself crashing, every 10/20 minutes. I even tested, using Live Another Life, to only start a game and not move from the cell, and even then 10/20 minutes the crash stood on. After a week of frustration and stress, i've decided to go vanilla from zero, and test mod by mod, to see the culprid of the crashs. And for my surprise, the vanilla game, using only ULSP and UHRSP and Live Another Life (Using it to bypass the boring starting) had the same crashs, after 10/20 minutes the game would crash with no signal of the problem on the Papyrus Log. Then, tested again, using only ULSP and UHRSP, same thing. Then, i've gonne full Vanilla, and again the 10/20 minutes crash stood still. But for my luck, i've found on Steam, someone with the same problems that me. Apparently, something on the TabTip.exe (touch keyboard and handwriting panel service) on Win 10 is conflicting with Skyrim(Mine, and some other ppl around steam forums) I've tried ending the process, and that made it! It's been almost a Hour and the Vanilla game didn't crash once. Well, i've searched on the STEP Forum, and haven't found no one talking about it, so i create this post, so if someone here, is having the same crashs as i am, know that the TabTip.exe/TabTip32.exe/touch keyboard and handwriting panel service (You must kill the TabTip.exe on the Taskmanager to end it) were, strangely enough, the culprid of my constant crashs.

And about the .ini tweaks, i've just followed this " https://wiki.step-project.com/Guide_talk:Troubleshooting#Papyrus_Tweaks " And, as i am installing lots, and lots of scripted mods, that i should follow this :P And sorry Mod, i thought that the post i've had put it on, were the right one :X -

Strangely the problem wasn't with Frostfall o.o I've copied and old STEP + SRLD + REGS profile, and started to filter what could be the problem. Suddenly i've discovered, that when reinstallin PERMA Patchs, for some reason, (Maybe i was sleepy at the time...) , i've had installed the wrong compatibility patch for RS Children and Inconsequential NPCs... Now everything is back up o.O Even the Frostfall error didn't appear on the log again.. I.. realy dont understand skyrim xD It's like it's a living being with a really bad temper ~~ -

Hail everyone, i've come to you guys with some new problems... I've been messing around with PerMa SRLD and REGS.. Everything were fine untill PerMa updated, and i've done the idiots route and updated everything with it. For some, complete random reason, i didn't create a new profile for this, so i kind off messed up my mod load order.. Well, after installing everything, everything seems to be allright, i've tried starting my skyrim and.. Well, the game starts up, the symbol appears, doesn't rotate as it should (I use STEP Extended for my rotation needs xD), and the options/smokes on the background doesn't start. So i've turned the papyrus loging and found that this line were appearing at the end.. " [08/10/2015 - 10:59:33AM] Error: Unable to bind script PF__01018802 to (81018802) because their base types do not match " Well, i've allready found that 81 is my FrostFall mod. Do anyone know what could be the source of this? Some patching i've done wrong maybe? Full(Very short) Papyrus Log of the incident. -

Hey :3 You can go to the Mo Settings > Plugins > Basic Diagnosis Plugin > Check_modorder and put it to False It'll turn off the annoying warning :3 -
Ohh, ok Thx :3 But i've followed your instructions (that i just found out, 10 secs after posting this) of using WyreBash to change the STEP Extended Patch master to the one required by SRLD ;3 Thx for atturing my annoying existence xD

Hail! So, i've got a simples question. The STEP:Extended Patch were thought with the ELE_Legendary_Lite.esp as it master, but, i've started following the SR:LD Guide, and on it, i've installed Falksaar and Wyrmstooth, so i had to reinstall ELE, as it's pointed in the guide. But then, i've noticed it, the file formated for ELE with Falksaar and Wyrmstooth is called ELE_Legendary_FR_Wr_Lite.esp. I need it to be named like that, so that the SRLD and REGS compatibility patch to work, but i also need the STEP:Extendd Patch to work. So, what i am saying is, there's a way to remove , rename the master in the STEP Extended Patch? If so, how? Or someone allready did that, and i didn't found the instructions?

Big man, jsut givin a feedback :P For some reason, my skse.ini wasn't working, and yah, i were trying to load DynDoLOD with 256 for the RAM xD Now that i've re-installed and made sure with yah Memory Block Log, that everything is working fine, everything is indeed working fine :3 Thx for the help ;3 -
Yeah, gonna step down to 768 for now, and re-do the memoryblocklog after installing SRLD REGS and PerMa to see if i should stay at 768 or up some moar =P Right now i'm just using STEP:Extended.

I've mad sure of that :3 Actually, i just fixed the issue, for some random reason, i've just re-done the steps of installing SKSE from STEP guide, desactivated the old intalation, and remade the ini. Now it works. The two folders are exatcly the same, i really dont know what was the problem xD But i've fixed it with a new instalation of skse :P

Hello everyone :D Well, i've been going around the forum, reading some nice tips about how to finetune skyrim for my machine. Some users, say to use the Memory Blocks Log, for seen how much memory is allocated to your game... Well, i did it, and i dont know if it is an error of mine, but, even thorugh i've changed the SkSE.ini to allow 768MB on Block1, Memory Blocks Log, says that it's setted to 256MB. It's just an error of Memory Blocks Log, or for some reason, my SKSE isnt aloocating moar memory? I use SKSE through Mod Organizer, have 16GB of RAM DDr3. I were thinking that i had configured everything right, but if what Memory Blocks Log says it's true, for some reason SKSE isnt allocating the 768MB it should be :| Anyone know what could be happening? EDIT: I've allready tryed the -forcesteamloader and no change ;\ MemoryBlocksLog SKSE.Ini configs enblocal.ini And, sorry for any grammar mistakes..English isn't my home language >:

So, just an drop in, for some reason, here, i've followed the S.T.E.P:Extended guide to the letter everything works perfectly until i aply DynDoLOD. I'm using the 1.4.0 version and, now with it on, the game just don't start. It stays on an loading screen, not frozen , still animated and with sounds, but it stays on the loading forever. The save i'm trying to use, is an 100% vanilla save from the start of helgen sequence, when you drop from the wagon. Should i try again and post an papyrus log or up the files? Just as info, the mod order on MO is exactly the order from the Guide. -

Hey, sorry to drop in but... My rig is an AMD Radeon 7870 with 2VRAM and 16 GB of Ram and Windows 7. To the VideoMemorySizeMb setting, what would be the optimal for me to put? I really didn't understand the notes undearneath, i use an 64Bits with Win 7, i've got moar then 8 RAM, so i should use what formula, this one > [Dedicated Video Memory] + [system RAM] − 2048 or this one > [Total Available Graphics Memory] − [170 (for Win7) or 350 (for Win8+)]
