W3R: The Wild Hunt Revisited W3R: The Wild Hunt Revisited is the Witcher 3 equivalent to my much-lauded Skyrim Revisited: Legendary Edition mod guide. I absolutely love The Witcher 3 and consider it one of the best games to be released in recent memory. That said, there are many things to improve upon in it and with the mod tools being released on August 14, 2015 I decided to write up a companion guide. I've spent a fair bit of time getting the guide into a state where I think it is ready to begin sharing with all of you. It is not completed and will be updated over time as I decide more components to add and/or graphics tweaks to use similar to how my Skyrim guide has been. Feedback and discussion via this thread is welcome and appreciated. Enjoy everyone. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ): Q: How do I get NMM to download The Witcher 3 mods while I am using MO to download Skyrim mods via the download with manger button on the Nexus? A: 1. Install Nexus Mod Manager with file associations all turned off in the installer. 2. Run nxmhandler.exe in your Mod Organizer directory. 3. Right click a blank spot and select "Add". 4. Select "Other" then point it to Nexus Mod Manager (NexusClient.exe) and click [OK]. 5. Double click "Other" in the main window and rename it to witcher3. 6. Enjoy. If for some reason it doesn't work, click [Register Active] to make sure this is the nxm handler in use.

The new Hearts of Stone DLC trailer looks awesome. Looks like new areas, new quests, new romance, new gwent, etc. :)

Safe to disable "Dangerous Diseases" in iNeed's MCM menu?
Neovalen replied to Vakturion's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Far as I remember cure disease potion still exists... it just isn't instant like it used to be. In any case, turning it off shouldn't hurt provided your not already infected. -

Furry follower? That is a new one, I suspect an armor spell is being cast by someone at the start of a fight.

Bathing in Skyrim - MCM Menu Issue

It it doesn't properly rename, you might have an out of date script installed. If so, do a clean install of the latest TES5Edit and merge scripts. -
Bathing in Skyrim - MCM Menu Issue
Neovalen replied to AiKiXeN's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
This. The merge script should take care of this. -
After the upgrade I believe it uses your hardware id to activate. I did a clean install after the update and didn't need to key in a code.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
Neovalen replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I simply do not use any of the others and therefore do not recommend them. In fact, ASIS was originally only added because the separate NPC Enchant Fix was removed from the Nexus and merged into ASIS. -

Use the old version as specified until TES5EDIT is updated. -
Get with the times, my PC is hamster powered. :)

DROPPED Mage Outfit Texture Overhaul by (Rafuel and Alexandriel)
Neovalen replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Look at the original robe templates that the esp redirects away from. They are Modded by CCF. It's not a direct conflict, it's indirect as the templates determine stats.- 47 replies

DROPPED Mage Outfit Texture Overhaul by (Rafuel and Alexandriel)
Neovalen replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
The only concern I have is mainly a conflict with Clothing and Clutter Fixes... I know Kry has mage robe hoods separated and they would use the original textures without a patch. Also using the ESP changes some templates and thus some minor stats. In other words, we need a CCF patch. :)- 47 replies

Arrows hitting invisible wall when killmove/kill cam is activated.

Gotta love shooting the breeze. :) -
Too true. I am the same way, I wonder if I even like the game itself honestly lol. I am very negative on a lot of the vanilla elements.

I do not recommend a merged patch from TES5Edit. -

I don't need it at 1600p. :) If you feel you need more AA at performance cost have at it. :) -

I'm not sure you can get rid of stutters 100% on the Skyrim engine. Its very much related to reading from the HDD into memory slowing everything down. SSD will help but its still not 100%, just faster. :) Yes, I have been looking at this. :) As you can see on the page I am one of the first commenters giving the author tips on file structure and language. :) -

Neovalen replied to CovertSlinky's question in Mod Organizer Support
Logged me in without issue, showed in log that it was successful. -
You do? I've never had to clean out my browser for any reason. Maybe I'm just neat and tidy by default.

I've never even come close to maxing out my ESP slots personally, I've always been a "less is more" kind of guy. In any case, I was planning at some point to do some additional merges but it always makes it more difficult to do updates in the future. I've got my eye on this one, it more than likely will conflict with ELFX exteriors so if testing it should remove that and the relevant records in the CR Patch. First major problem: It is SEVEN plugins... ouch! On the plus side, they appear to merge alright on first glance.
