  1. I sent Prod80 a message to make sure....but I'm assuming this is compatible with CoT and the CoT Patch/Serenity ENB?
  2. Just for my own clarification, since I am looking at this new update at work in zip format....we should NOT install the LOD optional or the DB Small Waterfalls optional, correct?
  3. Why was it removed? Bugs?
  4. I just want to post here so that I can track the thread. It was already mentioned in this other thread as well: https://forum.step-project.com/showthread.php?tid=3423
  5. Should the following also be added to this pack? I saw this on Neo's SR:LE guide but couldn't find it in the mods section of this forum. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4910/? Description: Improves the clouds for rain, snow, overcast, cloudy weather, horizon, mountains and distant clouds. In the ultra and high versions the resolution is double the vanilla resolution. This mostly translates to a jump from 512^2 to 1024^2. The exceptions are the distant clouds (from 1024x256 to 2048x512) and the mountain mists (from 256x2048 to 512x4096). The clouds are also smoother than the vanilla version. This reduces the pixelation that's pretty visible when looking straight up. These textures are stretched across the sky, which means any grain becomes that much more visible, hence why I've tried to minimize that. Pick Ultra for the least pixelation (compression: 8.8.8.8 ARGB), High for a happy medium (compression: DXT5), and Medium for performance at the cost of quality (compression: DXT5). ((Be aware that whichever sunglare you're using (vanilla definitely), that it also adds to graininess.)) EDIT: NVM. This is for vanilla cloud replacement only. It won't show up since this pack uses CoT.

  7. I'm interested in this. I personally hate the vanilla load screens. If this actually gives RELEVANT facts about the game (i.e., who different factions are, etc.) then I'd download it. I don't give a crap about some random made-up quote by some elf in the year of the whatever.
  8. Is this version the same thing except without scripts? And you can set the percentage of occurrence? What is it set to by default? Same as the original?
  9. ...and it does pretty damn good job. It should be compared against frost atronarch hd or whichever mod is currently in step. So basically we have two compares. One is what I just said and the other is between these icicles amd the ones from skyrim2k. Skyrim2k is the only mod in step that replaces icicles at the moment.
  10. This also apparently changes the Frost Atronarch textures too...
  11. Agreed. I can't tell a difference between the Matriarchs. They look identical to me. I'm not saying that this is the case...because I have no proof of that whatsoever...but in OTHER mods, sometimes you don't realize that the mod isn't that impressive until you look at the HRDLC and realize it's just a SLIGHTLY sharper version (cough telvanni reborn cough). Again, not saying that's the case here at all.Â
  12. Alright but can i also use safety load and enboost together or SSME and ENBoost together because in the posts its SSME does what safety load and more. SO yea Oh, did you ask about Safety Load and ENBoost together? My fault. Yes, I am using all three of these mods together. ENBoost, Safety Load, and Memory Patch. Hope that clears things up. How's the performance any crashes yet and how many mods u got cuz i got 200 plus :/ I'm an addict Since I implemented the Memory Patch, I haven't had a single CTD or ILS. I even turned ugrids up to 7. Now this is just MY experience. You need to test it yourself. I do want to mention like before that I do believe GPUs with higher VRAM perform better with these patches (might be wrong but I think it's true). My card has 4gb of VRAM. Also, you still need to configure enblocal.ini from ENBoost correctly to get this patch to work. I believe it needs to work together with ENBoost. If I'm wrong on that one then someone can correct me.Â

  14. I have been using the Memory Patch (the modified SKSE.dll version that NEO has on his Guide) AND Safety Load (version 1.1 because I never needed to update) and I haven't had a single ILS or Crash. I would say that yes, they are safe to use together, however you will need a larger sample size. I am just one person. Also, for the record, my GPU has 4gb of Memory. Not sure if that is important or not.
  15. Haha. We'll see :-). You owe me a beer if I do.Â
  16. I posted on the Nexus Page and said the following....I thought this would be better than asking for each mod individually... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'll make this simple. Will this mod work with everything on this list? https://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.7 This will cover like 99% of the "is this mod compatible with X" questions that you are going to keep getting. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17. Well it's almost impossible to tell the tone via an online forum. I have the same problem with text messages. I especially hate when people do something like this....with the.....to me it sounds like they're being dismissive or talking down to me whereas to another, it might just seem like a way to pause...see what I mean? Also, from what I've heard, MO is better and more advanced than WB and STEP is apparently switching to MO exclusively, meaning they won't be making any more BCF files for WB, which will be the main reason that I will have to switch to MO. I'm just not ready to spend the time doing that yet since I am so used to the WB interface and layout. So unfortunately I won't have the opportunity to give you any sh** about WB ;-). Wasn't at all my intention to be dismissive or rude, or any kind of hostility on my side. I thought Nexus Tracking is a common knowledge (FYI, the button is right next Endorse button). Apologies if I sounded rude, didn't mean to at all. But let's end this off topic now, and back to discuss the mod ;) I didn't think you were being rude at all. I was just explaining how I have learned to assume that everyone here means well and is friendly. It also gets kind of muddy around here with people who are not native English speakers (sorry to call you out Cabal, but you're the worst with this. I complimented you once and you thought I was making fun of you :-)) OK! Back to the mod!
  18. This is what I understand...I also am not a programmer or computer modeler so this could be wrong...but basically in a nutshell... Parallax - Makes 2D objects look more 3D. Think of CobbleStones on a road. Without Parallax, they might look flat with a shadow effect that might 'look' like they're popping out but you can tell that they really just look flat. With Parallax, they actually "pop" out. If you have ever tried to stress test or benchmark your GPU with 'Heaven' Benchmark', this uses a ton of Parallax. I think you can actually turn Parallax off and on so you can see the difference immediately, if you want to go check it out. Just google heaven benchmark. Current version is 3.0 or 4.0 or something. Mesh - Basically the 'shape' of an object. So each mesh is paired with a texture. The texture is like the paint on the shape and the mesh is the shape itself. That's why the SMIM makes things look less jagged and makes rounded edges more round and basically just makes things look better in terms of 'shapes.' LoD - I assume it stands from long distance or long something distance. Basically, these are objects in the distance. Trees in skyrim have LoDs and that is what you see when you are too far from the Tree for it to render everything. Have you ever seen someone complain that their trees are messed up in game (either purple or like floating/clipped). This is because the game is missing or has an incorrect Tree LoD File. Hope that helps!Â

  20. I don't use MO unfortunately. That is on my list of things to switch to. It took me forever, and I mean forever...to figure out Wrye Bash so I've been sticking with that for the past year or so. I plan to switch to MO once S.T.E.P. 2.2.8 comes out. The reason I made that request was because from time to time, I see Mod Authors who are active on these forums announce when a new version of his/her mod is released. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was Rengel's 'Responsibility/Job' to do this. I just meant it is helpful. I do agree that as users, it is our responsibility to keep our mods up to date and to check new mod versions ourselves. Also, as you can see, my request was dismissed pretty quickly by one of our Mods :-P. That is fine though. Sometimes I ask for things which are stupid and I appreciate any feedback that the Mods/other Users give me! You're not being rude at all.Â
  21. This is what I've gathered... Project Parallax Remastered should be placed AFTER SRO (in this case, i'm using the Project Parallax Remastered SRO Version so I placed it after SRO) If a mod contains its own Parallax effects/textures/meshes/whatever, it should be placed AFTER Project Parallax Remastered Parallax requires ENB to look correct. Some Parallax effects don't' require ENB (such as Real Ice Parallax) but the majority do. I hope that clears up your confusion and if I'm wrong on any of this, please correct me. This gets confusing for me sometimes too. Sorry to go off-topic, feel free to spin this off into a Tech Support Thread if needed.
  22. It's an entirely new atronach, so there is no before.Yea, but it uses a Spriggan Matriarch or whatever they're called as the Atronarch. There is no added creature.Â
  23. I do plan to release a pack mod in the future, but it's a bit complicated since I plan to release a few more summon/retextures so it wouldn't make sense making a pack right now. I'm going to pack all Conjuration spells into one mod so I can make it compatible with shops and spawning lists so its easier for me to patch it for other mods, along with an optional file for just retexture replacers but it still will take time and planning. Sounds good. Do what you gotta do. Great work on these mods. I'm currently not using the added Atronarch's but I'm liking your retextures of a lot of the mystical creatures around Skyrim so I'm using those replacers.
