Hi Neo, 1. Regarding RDO...are you loading EFFDialogue.esp after RDO as per mod's description? TBH, I cannot understand why he recommends that since pretty much everything is covered by the patch. I had posted this question in mod's forum but got no reply. 2. Regarding ELFX-Parallax Meshes Patch by Gutmaw...there are some meshes that do not include parallax textures such as meshes\architecture\whiterun\wrterrain\wrskyforge01.nif ...any reason why? Thanks! -

Dynamic Distant Objects LOD - DynDOLOD v2.16

Do you have a DynDOLOD-temp folder in your overwrite folder in MO? If so u must delete it before proceeding. -

This happens because a lot of female NPCs have a flag of "Use opposite gender animations", which basically gives them male-style walking animations. If you do not want this then the mod Feminine Females fixes it but I must warn you it is quite outdated in terms of USLEEP and it would require a bit (quite a bit) of your own conflict resolution to bring it up with the SR:LE guide. -

Thanks for the update Neo. A couple of things though regading Real Roads, as they have been reported in its Nexus comment page (look at the 1st page): The mesh "dweroadscurver01.nif" has some internal issues. Mr. Troublemaker had posted a fixed nif file here (as posted in the comment page). There have been some reports that some of the mod's meshes are not working well with EBT probably due to their collision setup, resulting in weird textures with blood splatters on roads. Have you experienced this? Thanks! -

Unfortunately RL has not let me test this as much as I would. I managed to tst it a further 1 hr and I really like what I see in-game. As said in my previous posts, I have never used RotE nor will I ever use. So I cannot compare the 2 mods. What I like from the little I have seen from AAE is that it is quite linear, concrete, and foes are not supernaturals. Nor having extreme magic powers and exotic shouts. Difficult yes, impossible no. This is my impression so far. Re the patches...I am in contact with sirjesto and we will be discussing abt them. From what I heard AAE is going to be updated shortly (do not know how shortly though), so most probably I will wait until it is released to talk with sirjesto more in-depth abt the patches. Oh, and on Sunday I am leaving for vacations for 15-20 days. So I do not think I might be able to even start looking at the mod before the first week of August. -

The fix for BP is still needed. I also posted it on mod's Nexus page. -

Thanks sirjesto! I shall await then then new version of AAE before proceeding any further. Endangering myslef to be speaking too soon especially about the OBIS patch...i just do not think that this patch is needed. Mainly what this patch does is to forward the level multiplier of AAE which I do not think this multiplier makes sense when using OBIS's min and max levels. I would just load AAE before OBIS and let OBIS takes care of all bandit records...this is just what this mod does and it does it pretty good! But as said...need to further test it. P.S.: I have the feeling that we are getting off-topic here... -

Hi sirjesto, The wording used in the post above by dunc001 was a bit "unfortunate". As I have written in this thread, am still testing AAE and your patches and for the time being I am just not inline with a couple of them. But as I said I might be wrong or spoke too soon as I am still testing the mod. Rest assured that whatever my final findings I will discuss it with you (in private) as this is always my approach and my mentality with every mod author or user. Apologies for the above mentioned wording as I am sure it was not Dunc's intention and certainly not mine. Thanks and we will be in touch! -

Hi Darth, I do not use either RotE or Morrowloot so I cannot really tell. For the time being I am still testing it as I am not quite inline with some of sirjesto's patches (OBIS and CACO iirc). But perhaps I might be wrong...will see. I will need a couple of days...hopefully, as RL does not come easy on me lately! -

I don't know. As said I have tested it in-game very little. There is a SkyTEST patch though in sirjesto's patches which means it should work alright. I will further test it in-game the next 2-3 days and post any findings. -

Hi guys, For those of you looking for an alternative to RotE, I would recommend having a look at Advanced Adversary Encounters. I have little tested it in game but from I have seen in xEdit and CK i find it to be at least way more balanced, not buffing bosses just for the heck of it, and not creating semi-Gods. ...but ofc I might be a bit biased as I really do not like RotE...not my cup of tea anyway. Of course this mod enjoys sirjesto's patches for an even more flawless integration. At least we have some fresh alternatives... -
You mean the Restringer part of it, correct? Yeah I have played around with it just for testing...it seems to behave as advertised. Haven't tested it extensively though as my strings count is at safe levels for the time being.

Yeap!! Gamwich ALL THE WAY!!!

Wrong FormIDs perhaps? From which mod(s) is that? SIC? Merged mods? Patches? Just by looking at what you posted, it looks like these specific death items leveled lists are using a "Constructible Object (COBJ)" as reference to their list which ofc does not seem right. I can only imagine this happening if you have merged something, some formids got renumbered and a patch is referencing the old FormIDs and not the renumbered ones. Not at home to double check these references (at least how they behave on my setup), but certainly it looks like how i described it above.

DynDOLOD 2.11 TexGen doesn't work
Astakos replied to TheChemist's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
You will be better off posting your problem to DynDOLOD forum here. Sheson is pretty active there and always willing to help! -
Dunc I do believe that the better course of action will be to bring it up with Sheson in his DynDOLOD thread. I too have the feeling that TexGen output should be installed as a mod before running DynDOLOD, but we need to hear it from the "Master" himself. I am not sure either.

I have tested it a bit last night and TBH I have not spotted anything weird regarding the mesh while in-game. Texture wise is absolutely brilliant. Especially Gamwich textures!

Yeah it is not an overly big deal! I still like the shading fixes from USLEEP though...!

USLEEP (actually it was in a USKP release back in time) has an updated mesh for horker.nif that corrects shading, better placement of NiTriShapes etc. Author did not use USLEEP's/USKP's mesh as a base but the vanilla one. It is also mentioned by a user in the mod's comment page and it can be further seen by comparing the 2 models in NifScope. If you install HD Horker in MO you will also see that it overrides the horker.nif file from USLEEP. While the shading fixes are nice to have, still, the textures of this mod are really too nice to just let go. I just wish more authors in the future will start using USLEEP meshes as a base to their models.
