  1. Still has the same issue though, AA didn't work at all with only d3d9.dll + the .ini and no .fx files. So it's something in the .dll. There was a similar issue in early 0.109 release that Boris fixed pretty quickly, though he claims there should be nothing making changes to AA in 110 :/
  2. It does make sense if mods conflict files that are vital to the mods, which is why using WB to install everything is the best option as you can then see exactly which files are conflicting between various mods.
  3. Not sure what that was a response to, but if it was to the issue with no AA then it wouldn't help me much as I am using my own ENB settings with changes to all .fx files etc that I've spent way too much time perfecting (including DoF etc) to work with RCRN flawlessly. :) Can ofcourse try it and see if AA still bugs out this way though just for kicks! Edit: Tried it and no change, though I doubt that response was to the no-AA issue anyway :)
  4. That sounds very very odd, I haven't had any performance drop at all with RCRN.
  5. Yes, I have it enabled in SkyrimPrefs.ini and "Enhancing the image" via NVIDIA Inspector. Edit: Tried it without enhancing via inspector too and didn't help any so it's not inspector breaking it with the latest version, just for the record.Edit2: Also tried to Override via inspector rather than Enhance, and still no cigar.
  6. The problem is that he would need to completely rewrite it from scratch to fix the CtD issues it has, as he has been doing major things "wrong" from the start (deleting records frmo Skyrim.esm rather than disabling them), so checking newer updates until one is a complete rewrite won't help much I'm afraid.
  7. You can see a quick comparison of Ambient Occlusion vs no AO here: https://international.download.nvidia.com/geforce-com/international/comparisons/the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-tweak-guide/Skyrim-Tweak-Guide-AO-Comparison.html You can move the slider to where you want to compare specific areas. You should be able to lower the RCRN contrast and saturation in the injFX_Settings.h file located in the Skyrim root.
  8. Home now and tried the new version, no change at all. New examples: No ENB .dll, smooth edges all around: https://i.imgur.com/Wg70Z.jpg ENB active, marked areas that are good for comparison. AA not working: https://i.imgur.com/6nBIR.jpg
  9. The tweak is mostly for stability, not really to gain large amounts of fps but rather to not drop as low in areas where you normally do. And that has been working quite well for me thus far. :)
  10. I tried it with RCRN disabled on the first 0.110 version, so doubt its that. Havent tried the new one yet but will once I get home!
  11. I hadn't even thought that it could be ENB, but I remember thinking to myself, "This looks like my AA settings aren't being applied". I even double checked my values a couple times. Good catch. It's also very noticeable when moving and looking at bars and other small structures outside of Whiterun. A lot of waviness from bars and slats in guard towers, along with jaggies. Yes indeed, when moving it is VERY noticeable, but I chose that area for the screenshot since it can be hard to capture on a static screenshot in many locations. :) Might be helpful if you posted aswell on the ENBforums about this as it seems I'm the only reporting this issue for some strange reason.
  12. RCRN 2.1 doesn't use ENB at all. You can use them together however. To ONLY use the new shadows: Download 0.110 and put it in your Skyrim root. Delete enbeffectprepass.fx, enbeffect.fx, and enbbloom.fx Under effect, use these values:
  13. Think I found the reason, it appears ENB 0.110 forces AA to off. Evidence (look at the bars in the "windows" above the gate): Without ENB (as in d3d9.dll renamed so it doesn't load at all, simply turning it off via Shift+F12 still leaves AA not working and textures shimmering): https://i.imgur.com/lUDzX.jpg With ENB active: https://i.imgur.com/kotZV.jpg Posted this on ENB forums aswell so Boris can look at it. I believe he plays without AA as there were some issues with it in 0.109 early beta too before people pointed it out to him and he tested with AA enabled.
  14. Anyone else getting a lot more texture shimmering and z-fighting using this version?

Never had that problem nope. Sounds like you might be packing it back with wrong folder-structure?
  16. Asked Gopher if he used a lot of PlaceAtMe() calls in his scripting for Dynavision which is known to cause bloat if used a lot, and it appears he is and wasn't aware of the bloating it can cause. So seems the cause is found now, but means he needs to rethink a lot of the scripting.
  17. Fullproc never did anything for me even before the first patch, was something I tried at day 1 personally. :)
  18. Ok, hadn't tried the launcher yet but that sounds interesting, in a bad way obviously. :) Been playing around some with the .ini tweaks and haven't noticed anything at all, and there might even be some performance increase although that might be placebo. Too early to tell yet.
  19. I would assume so as it's still 4 cores
  20. So, there are two different approaches to improving performance by changing CPU affinity from what I've seen. One is using Skyrim Extended Launcher to 'lock' Skyrim into using 2 specific cores (this is obviously only interesting for people with 4+ core CPUs), as the game only makes use of two anyway but what happens normally is that Windows spreads the load between all cores which means that CPU frequencies go up and down like crazy. Using SEL changes this as it will use those 2 cores fully improving stability and performance. The other approach is to add some settings to your Skyrim.ini, assigning specific jobs to the different CPU cores. Following this guide assigns 2 cores to rendering, and 2 cores to AI and such. The .ini additions (for 4 cores): Now, you can't use both of these together, as doing one of these changes nullifies the other. Has anyone played around with these and can supply some insight on which approach seems to be working best for you? I will try out the .ini changes for starters myself, but actually comparing the two probably takes quite a lot of testing and thus if someone has already done so, sharing it would be great!
  21. I've been using this for some time and have had z-fighting
  22. I have a hard time believing you could get great fps with that 5760x1080 tbh :/
  23. Glad to hear! As I mentioned, you're definitely not alone when it comes to that mistake ;)
  24. Not sure how much you've used ENB in the past so thus I'll provide some checking-points for you that might be awfully obvious if you have played around with it before, but doesn't hurt to suggest it anyway! Any DOF settings from previous ENB are compatible with 0.109 though so it can't be that. 1) SkyrimPrefs.ini - is bFloatPointRenderTarget set to 1? If not, SSAO and DoF from ENB will not load at all. 2) enbseries.ini - Superobvious but hey, you never know! EnableDepthOfField set to true? #1 has been the culprit for me in the past when I've gone from a no-ENB game and then gone back to using ENB and simply forgot about that value.
