GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
Okay I created the page for some extra weapons. It's only 5 weapons and I'll add more as I test them out. https://wiki.step-project.com/User:EssArrBee/FalloutNewVegas_AdditionalWeapons -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
EssArrBee replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
I had made some pages for extra weapons like the Millenia's one, but I didn't put the link anywhere for later reference. Took me a good 20 minutes to find them. Anyways, I've found some energy weapons that look pretty good. MNK-RHINO Gauss Revolver THOR VT-191 Murdelizer Omegared99 - M-2081 Pistol AER11 Blue Laser Rifle - Holographic Aiming TAR-3 Tesla Assault RifleThat looks like a good starting point. Anyways, people can add these to the game without worrying about messing anything up as long as you are below the 135 plugin count. Or you can use the merging instructions and just apply it to any set of weapons. If you've done the merging instructions for the Millenia weapons, then just use that as a template. It's easy peasy. I'll start testing these pretty soon and take all the ones that are high quality since some of the energy stuff can be gimmicky. Any recommendations for your favorites are welcome as well. -

Did you do the INI section? The darnified UI INI is there. -
GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback

Well, I'm finally about done with Beyond Boulder Dome. Usually large mods end up pretty bad since they lack the polish and writing of professionals, but it had a decent story. The voice acting is mostly high quality and the NPCs fit the whole Fallout world quite well. The complaint I have the difficulty. There is this one set of enemies that have perfect aiming even if you cripple their heads or arms, so it just isn't all that fair to go up against them. Bring your armor piercing rounds. It's more a bad design choice than a consequence of the enemies being tough because of good AI. Also, bring lots of Rad-X and RadAway. Colorado is covered in radiation. I'll be adding this mod and the FCO plugin for it. I've been the M24E1 while playing and that gun is really well done. It is powerful, but offset with high AP cost if using VATS and it fires slow so you can't just sit their pulling the trigger from 200 yards out. It will be in the next weapon pack I put together along with the Crossbow mods, Tactical Flamer Revamp, and Mason Jar Mine. I need to get a few more though before I do it, maybe a couple energy weapons. -
ACCEPTED aMidianBorn Book of Silence (by CaBaL)
EssArrBee replied to EisDrache's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Exactly! Cabal made some of the armors that have fur (like steel) with different fur colors (brown, white). Also, it makes the Elven Gilded Armor the black version and I think there is a light and dark version of the Orcish Armor. There is one more I'm forgetting, but you get the idea. -
Welcome Suraru! Were glad that new members are still finding our little corner of the modding world. Glad those weirdos in IRC didn't chase you off.

I just finished grading exams, now I just gotta enter in the final grades. That means I can get into testing for real. Maybe I can figure out all this NVR3/FCO stuff. I still haven't finish Beyond Boulder Dome and I'm really looking forward to it. I think I'm somewhat done though since I'm finally in the dome, but I haven't touch FNV in about a month so we'll see. Also, got a few textures, mostly tiny ones, and then Destruction Overhaul and IMPACT. I think I can knock all that out this weekend if Christmas stuff doesn't take up too much. Also, if you guys want to list your favorite weapons mods, like mods that have one or two weapons, I can make a separate page for them with merging instructions. It would look like the Millenia Weapons page I have linked in the guide already. I've been wanting to put together another page with some of my favorites like Tactical Flamer Revamp and M24E1 to add a bit more variety, but if others already have some of their favorites, then I can throw it together really quick. -

The playable races are for the player character only. The records from FCO that are left behind are for the playable races and the lobotomite which NVR3 does not touch. -

NPCs are taken care of by the NVR3 plugin and the FCO textures and meshes. That's why I have people delete the '00' records so FCO doesn't affect the NPCs. I hope it's not NVR3 causing the issue though because it just got a major update. -
Steam usually requires a loader, not a modified version of the .exe. It messes with Steam because of all the stuff they use preventing cheaters in other games.

Not sure that should be happening either. I'll look into why that is happening. I'm not sure why that folder already exists in you mod folder. You can expand awilderwasteland.esp folder once and just move the next folder, MaleUniqueBenny I believe, to the NewVegasUncutSeires.esp folder. -
Can't drag and drop in left mod pane

You can't drag an drop if there are any filters on. Check that the Groups dropdown is 'No Groups' -
STEP Patches were just updated for AOS v2.2. Very tiny update, but still needed for RWT compatibility.

Man, I can't reproduce that. My Lobotomites are all good. It is a known bug even for people that just install FCO without NVR3. I think Drumber has worked it out for the next version though. Just don't use the Lobotomite in character creation. -
Default Fallout.ini for FalloutNV has duplicate settings

It's a default. I don't mess with any INI settings that aren't in the F&L guide. -
Default Fallout.ini for FalloutNV has duplicate settings
EssArrBee replied to GrantSP's question in General Fallout: New Vegas Support
It may be a duplicate, but one of them might be benign. The guy to ask about what they do and which is relevant is Queue. He hasn't been around much the last couple weeks, but I don't know anyone else that tell you exactly what is going on. My INI only has one under the [LOD] so you could delete one and and get rid of it. Mine is set to 1. -

I didn't add it yet because I got bothered by other stuff right when it came out and haven't had time to add it. If you follow the procedure on that page you can keep adding weapons to it if you follow the same procedure. Just keep adding them and adding them. Just remember to move the plugin to the optional ESPs for any mods you add and leave them ticked in the left pane since you need the textures, meshes, sounds,... etc. Purple means missing textures, but it might only be in character creation. NVR3 works fine, but FCO might have some issues with the added races in character creation. Make one of the purple races into a character and see if it's purple in game. The added races that all look the same are from FCO, they should just be different ages or something. You might try reinstalling mod again. -

maybe disable the terminal setting in the bashed patch and then regenerate it. I can look at the mod when I get home. -

In WF, right click the bar at the top where it sales Files and untick 'Lock Times'. That should remove the red bars. For some stupid reason the Lock Times thing is checked by default on new install of WF. Close and reopen WF and rerun your bashed patch after unticking Lock Times. You made a mod for the Bashed Patch in anticipation of having to run it, so you won't have the new one pop out in the Overwrite folder. It just stays in the mod folder you created.
