  1. First in the plugins tab click Priority so that it sorts by what BOSS/LOOT sorts as your load order. Then those two little red exclamations in your load order are telling you that you are missing other plugins those plugins depend on. untick them and the game with load. We are moving the STEP Patch to the end of the install in the next guide update so it makes more sense, but you will not click that mod until installing everything. The High res patch depends on the high res DLC plugins being in your load order. Do you have the HRDLC? They are free, but you have to download them separately on Steam I believe, been a long time since I've had to do that.
  2. I am going to do that and also report it to Queue, NVAC and SSME author, who seems really smart. He doesn't even own Skyrim and made SSME, so I'm guessing he knows his stuff.
  3. Yeah, I was testing NV Bounties 1 and 2 at the same time, but I only got through NVB 1 and two bounties of pat 2 before my saves went haywire. I have a testing save that Someguy put up, so I'll use that soon. As for Dracomies textures, I'm planning on it, but I was doing all the BOSS/LOOT stuff, and getting ready to add cleaning instructions and MO v1.2.5 instructions. When that is done I'll be back to proper mod testing. Well, maybe, my regular STEP duties are also calling now that MO updated. STEP 2.2.8 is pretty much outdated and we have to probably move up our timetable for 2.2.9 release. It's just a stupid bug with the way the bashed patch is handled by the virtual filing system adjustments now that the DATA folder is included. Same weird issues happen with TES5Edit if you mess with plugins and then save them. Just make sure that Bashed patch is ticked and last in the load order. You can now have it in the data directory and it will be a mod listed without a check box. The drawback is that if you make a new profile you have to make a new Bashed Patch. The other way to handle this besides making it a mod in MO, is to copy the Bahsed Patch, 0.esp and rename it Bashed Patch, 1.esp or 2.esp, 3.esp.... That is how multiple patches are handled by Wrye Bash. That is the same as the one you deleted. It's just a dummy plugin with nothing in it called Bashed patch, 0.esp and the version in the header is for Oblivion, but rebuilding the patch changes that.
  4. Better Burned Man, I'm going to add that to guide. It is really tiny and just a couple of files. A Better Cass is probably another one that could be opened. I think it's trial and error, but so far the errors from extracting seem to be meshes. Spice of Life and NV Interiors probably should be the last ones you extract if it comes down to it since they probably have the most meshes and models inside them.
  5. Do you see the dropdown that says Nexus IDs under the mod list? Change that to No Groups and it will go away. Also, if you put it on Categories it will be green to denote that you have it sorted somehow.
  6. Actually, the 32 number was just what I was thinking when I was troubleshooting. It's not a 32 BSA problem, it's a 255 character limit of all the names of the BSAs. The way the engine takes them in is through a string and it can't handle more than 254 characters. Nitpick has fixed this for Skyrim and MO integrated it to solve the issue, but it is not backwards compatible.
  7. I'm guessing when zed updated MO it put the DLC at the bottom and it needs to be up top between the UPPs.
  8. Depends on the total number of mods with BSAs you add. You'll know if you need to extract another BSA by following some really simple steps: Launch the game through MO. If it launches then you are done.If it doesn't launch then then extract another BSA.Repeat.EDIT: Skip Willow and FlashlightNVSE BSA's, they can't be extracted.
  9. I'm testing Advanced Recon Stealth Armor and Thermal Nightvision. There are three BSAs and they should be extracted to stay under the 255 char limit.
  10. ...SteamsteamappscommonFallout New VegasMopyWrye Bash Debug.bat That is what you should have, the .bat file launches it. Don't worry about the debugger it does not affect anything. Thanks for the LOOT report. I'll get those instructions in now.
  11. Damn, I screwed that one up, didn't I? Let me fix the issue really quick. Basically, you need the main mod for the BSA that is filled with meshes and then the esp that is linked in the guide right now. I'll have to make an adjustment to the install instructions really quick.
  12. I've also cleaned all my mods and did not write down which ones they were. If someone that has not cleaned their mods can run BOSS and post a report, I'd really appreciate it. Also, for a couple mods, Tales from the Burning Sands and Ragdoll Overhaul, I posted a link to a set of simple directions for cleaning a mod. If someone has seen and used that link, let me know if it was confusing or easy to use? Preferably, less experienced users could give me the best feedback since the more advanced users don't really need me to tell them how to clean mods.
  13. If you use Distant Decal Fix then it goes before USKP.
  14. Yesterday's changelog reflects all the corrections made from MO 1.2.5's external installer. You still need FOMM for 4 mods, PN - Extra Options, Flashlight NVSE, OneHUD, and Unified HUD.
  15. NVM, you figured it out.
  16. Man, why couldn't Beth keep the lore going from game to game? Your making me remember all these cool things from the old days.
  17. So you guys want to do some testings, ehh? Well, you're in luck. I've redone the ADAM installer. It now has the complete edition integrated. F&L instructions would be: From the installer choose Complete Version, No to the NCR Trooper plugin, and Yes to the PN patch.Testing needs: Test that all files are installed when choosing the different versions. Test that the correct questions are asked during install: For Complete, first ask about NCR Trooper, then about PN Patch. For Custom, first list all the options, second ask about the PN patch if the following are chosen: Main, HH, LR, Outcast, Nemesis, and NCR Patrol Armours.Make sure the bug fix has been made to the Complete PN patch. When putting on the Prototype Riot Helmet and crouching the blue tinted vision should NOT show up. Get the helmet with console "player.additem XX004cc6 1" without quotations. Replace XX with the position of ADAM Complete.esp in the load order.Make sure that prototype riot armor is now on a shelf in the Helios One Workshop and not under the floor. Shelf is above computer where the helmet is found and armor is on top of it. Check both ADAM Complete.esp and ADAM - Nemesis.esp. You have to go to Helios One for this one and get up to the top. I suggest coc HeliosOne and then tcai to turn off combat AI.You may need to install version of the mod to test stuff. Use the Complete version as one install and the custom version with the current guide recommendations for another. You can just name them differently when asked about mergeing the files, so it ends up in a different file.https://copy.com/J74SvlRrDJyc I have done some of the testing already, but it was late last night, so I want to make sure it was all correct before linking it up.
  18. Enb or no enb?
  19. STEP member Keithinhanoi is the one who helped make many of those patches. He also has the same username on the nexus, so you could PM him here or there about looking into any issues.
  20. The mod is just a game setting. I include it in all the STEP plugins, but anyone can use it or adjust the settin gto suit their needs. - Game Setting - Should be known that Game Settings are found and/or added by their EditorID, not their FormID. - XX0034D3 - fAIMinGreetingDistance - Change DATA - Value->Float to '90.000000' <- The default is something like 180.000000, but you could lower it even further.
  21. Double click the mod to show the info pane. Go to the file tree and hide the files there. See if that works.
  22. Brothers for $3 dollar is a must. Amazing game. Also, nidhogg is good for local multiplayer.
  23. Those are back up files from racemenu that you can use if you crash in the character creation menu. Otherwise delete them.
  24. Add any category to bashed patch that has mods listed. I have not updated the bashed patch section for the new tags.
  25. Outside Bets adds in a bunch of NPCs that were in the game files too. I was going to test the NV Uncut mods three at a time, but I think these may a be a bit more complete than Outside Bets.
