  1. hmm, I think we're all missing something. Can you post the inis, I dont care that they're vanilla, I just have a feeling. I think all the older games do this, it loads regardless.
  2. I completely forgot about color blindness, I'll get something going. Since I am not familiar with color blindness is it possible to place the letter on the colored boxes? Sorry, I dont know the specifics. What do you think of these... Edit: I committed the changes so that you can see it rendered.
  3. Too bad they dont have oblivion, this may have fixed several issues with MO
  4. I've complained about this several times, I generally avoid it and use googles cached pages.
  5. You could try reinstalling graphics drivers. I'll keep thinking on this.
  6. Welcome AceeQ, if you pm DoubleYou, Tech or Ess then you can get a Mod Author badge. Thanks for popping in.
  7. hmm, freezing, interesting... I think this is one of those, "restart your pc to fix the issue" scenarios. Win 10 loves to auto updates which tends to partially cripple the OS until it is restarted. If that doesnt work run the DXSETUP.exe which is located in Oblivion\directx\
  8. wait, is your save game actually 23GB per save because 23MB I can understand? Is then you have a script that is going haywire.
  9. if I remember right there are dependencies from some patches
  10. The most common mods DO include it. The ratio doesnt matter because there are various "duplicate" mods that offer similar products, like body mods. I know that "must have" and extenders do use OBSE plugins. Here is what the I have installed in the first 13ish mods "Must Have" OR OSRUnofficial PatchNo Floating Weapon extenders MenuQueBlockHeadconscribeNifSeAddActorValues If you add BC and Alternative Beginnings then add a few more. Some mods have more than one .dll, I think BC has three. EDIT: I did change my opinion many months ago, I will use MO when it is fixed. If it is impossible then the guide will never use it, simple as that. From what I can tell in the MO\Oblivion forum is that there are a lot of dead threads where the issue was never resolved.
  11. AF is standardized (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x). The only game I can think of that doesnt immediately follow it is FNV, they do a weird <16 system.
  12. 1. Yes because some mods include a the text file which will mess with how assets are loaded. 2. Everything was sparkly and gross looking when I tried it. 3. AF is one of those settings that should just be used because it greatly improves the visual quality, its really lite an no one is going to miss half a frame for 16.
  13. yup, every Data\OBSE\Plugins\*.dll need to be installed manually. I dont know how the timing lines up but you may need to manually install other files that are related to OBSE files like inis. I'll still stand firm that something like that defeats the purpose of MO.
  14. Because you can't load obse dll through mo.
  15. *Cough* OBSE DLLs *Cough* Also it doesnt work period. Its a bad system in its current state, when its fixed, MO will be used. Another thing, OR doesnt function correctly when the Steam UI is enabled.
  16. Do I know the immediate answer, no. Lets try something, load up boss, sort the plugins and then regen the bashed patch and report back what you found to be different.
  17. They affect different things, DT affects the transitions of the landscape paint and OR affects distant terrain.
  18. Open xEdit and look at the records then decide what rules are needed. If the necessary rules are greater then go back to boss but I will check them out, even though I dont have the full LO
  19. LOOT will work and yes its a mess because loot works off a different system than rigid rules. I was going to jot the important ones down but I dont have the guide installed and I've been doing other things. Keep LOOT until it is proven that it will just not work. I like BOSS more than LOOT but the number of rules is annoying. EDIT: Alive Waters may also have landscape records so it should load fairly early.
  20. where ever you pointed the merge's asset destination
  21. Downpour I have several mods to be looked at like TWMP Locations
  22. 1. Nope, although I dont know if there are any other dependencies. 2. I'd have to look at the xml file and even then it would be a task and a half. I guess there can be an edited version for Mythic Dawn that the guide recommends but this would be down the road. 3. I dont think ODLMax is needed anymore since Tes4ll is part of the guide but I had it in there are core for people that dont use UL or Tes4ll. LOD Noise isnt replaced by anything other than that mod if I remember correctly. As for Modified Normals, I dont remember if this is something to be replaced by Tes4ll. 4. Nope, sorry.
  23. Youre missing the interface\translations\*.txt file for the merge
