Guard won't acknowledge my shout
WilliamImm replied to LynziRaeighn's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Yea, I've posted that the change Destructible Bottles makes to Unrelenting Force doesn't always cause the shout to work. However, it worked for me when I attempted to diagnose the problem (even breaking bottles as intended) - so... I'm at a loss myself. Lynzi, try enabling Destructible Bottles again, and be sure to enable Papyrus logging and, to be extra scrupulious with logging - install Conskrybe as well. Be sure to use Pastebin to upload both the Papyrus and Conskyrbe logs. Anything you can do to log the problem helps, so I can make attempts to fix it. (This page on the Creation Kit Wiki includes a section on how to enable Papyrus logging.) -
wanted Installing ASIS and SkyRe with some additional stuff
WilliamImm replied to Iroha's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Or, even better, use Wrye Bash to change the ESPs requiring ReProccer.esp (or another SkyProc patcher) to use SUM.esp instead. It works, and you don't have to reapply the change if you rerun SUM. I think ReProccerDragonborn.esp is the only one that has ReProccer.esp as a master, but they could be a few others. -
Issue with Daedric helm and Improved Closed Face Helmets
WilliamImm replied to Drax8's question in General Skyrim LE Support
You need to edit the Closed Face Helmets ESP if you want to keep the helmet's normal appearance. The easiest method to do so is to open up the ESP with TES5Edit, and then delete the record modifying the Daedric Helmet. -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Interesting. However, I would like the assistance of the STEP team for this massive undertaking. Together, we can make this happen. I'd prefer the *TEP theme naming myself - would be really nice to see a suite of Total Enhancement Projects for the Bethesda games - as long as the STEP mandate is abided to, this will be a very beneficial project for everyone involved. NVTEP? At least that sounds reasonable...

This site seems like a good starting board for Oblivion modding - they have a detailed guide to setting up and modding Oblivion there. As for textures, I've seen Dubiousness link to this thread a few times - detailed recommendations about textures there. He also linked to TES Texture Guide for a comprenhensive list of textures for Oblivion - maybe we can look at that and see? Maybe all the people currently intrested in this should start up a new planning thread for this project. Hopefully, others still will be instrested and provide good advice, or even assist in setting up the guide for the first time. Luinithil - was TESCosi the site you were thinking of, or was it some other site? (Please link if it is another site)

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback
WilliamImm replied to Neovalen's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Also, only 1 Sounds of Skyrim patch should be used for Climates of Tamriel. In your case, that would be the patch labled "SoS - The Wilds-PatchCoTSounds.esp". You should add instructions to remove "SoS - The Wilds-PatchCoT.esp", as it is also not needed. This also applies to the civilization module, once that is added. Also, grammar errors: "as not needed" should be "as it is not needed" when referring to the unnecessary SoS patches. -
The answer is no: SFO v179e (which is what STEP uses) includes the fix for SkyBirds already.
-
Heh, that is certainly needed - I'm looking for a good mod guide for Oblivion that does not have me stuffing my game with 250+ mods before I actually play it. You may want to read this thread, in which the same question was posed. Basically, mod-wise, you can't go wrong with Milenna's and CaBaL's textures for both FO3 and FNV, and Vurt's for FNV. Would be awesome if someone would apply a STEP-like guide to both Fallout games or Oblivion (or both), so that I have guidance to play it.

SKYRIMLE Unique Weapons Redone (by Sonnyspak and Mudcrab King)
WilliamImm replied to mothergoose729's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
(Someone did bring this up that this mod had built-in Dual Sheath compatibility. Shouldn't Neovalen add it to the list of mods with Dual Sheath patches on their own page?) -
Skunky123 is apparently Mystery Modder's brother. Would make sense, since Skunky123 refers to Mystery Modder as though he were a different person. My guess is that Skunky's doing the mod management, so that Mystery only has to focus on texture making. He seems to be inconsistent with his quality - you have stunning rextures like the mushrooms and the shirines, and then you have "quick, upscale and sharpen!" stuff like the torture and tanning racks.

And Birds of Skyrim? Think you forgot to mention that...

SKYRIMLE Skybirds - Airborne Perching Birds
WilliamImm replied to Korentin's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
And since I question the stability of Birds and Flocks as well, we may want to remove that mod in favor of Birds of Skyrim - both that and SkyBirds have good interoptablity. -
Neovalen's SR - New Animation For Magic Casting
WilliamImm replied to Dante2904's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Basically, what the description for the Skeleton arm fix is saying is "If you are using XPMS, CHSBHC, or TBBP, enable this for sure. If you are not using one of those skeletons, you can enable this, but make sure said skeleton has a corresponding .hkx." It really is as simple as you said - the option is a no-brainier if you are using either of those skeletons. -
Neovalen's SR - New Animation For Magic Casting
WilliamImm replied to Dante2904's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Neo uses UNP Blessed because, according to this post, it provides more breast size variation and more realistic butt/ankle/leg than UNP alone. You don't have to use the BBP part of the mod if you don't want to, or even use the mod at all. May as well say that both UNP and Better Males (the male body replacer Neo uses) come with non-nude versions, since that seems to be a concern for you. However, the latest version of UNP Blessed does not come with a non-nude version, in case you decide to use that. That being said... Calyps and Nuska are collaborating on a female body mod of their own (link NSFW), which seems more aimed for players like you. Still an alpha, but one worth tracking. And it has a non-nude version. Also, as for the toggle option.. what about it? If the checkmark is checked, then the arm fix will be applied to all animations. Don't know why you are struggling... -
