DynDOLOD Re-installation
TwilightTech replied to cardinalix's question in Guide Support & Bug Reports (retired)
You should be able to fix this by either replacing the DynDOLOD.esp file in the mod folder with the DynDOLOD.esp.bak file (remove the .bak from the filename) or by redownloading DynDOLOD and replacing the esp with the one in the download; Whichever of these you do, you should re-run the scripts, and everything should work fine. If it still doesn't work properly, then yes, you can completely re-install DynDOLOD, making sure it's in the same spot as before. As for your second question, yes you should be able to resume your save game. -

If we're using Flora Overhaul Forested, should iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure be set to 6, as recommended by Vurt? -
Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Because you opened SUM outside of Mod Organizer, it cannot see that you have DSR and ASIS installed. -
Yeah, it's usually easier to just do it with the the form id. Yeah, though I don't remember having to do it manually... Maybe I've just forgotten.
-
Other than just seeing if you can find it in a clean install... I'm not sure, cause I have that record. You're sure that if you copy and paste 000D5E9B into the FormID box in tes5edit, it doesn't find anything?

Hm, I assume you started with a clean installation of Skyrim?
-
edit: whoops, didn't see Astakos already answered it.

Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Not a huge deal, but I noticed that in the INI tweaks, you have the f3PBoltTiltUpAngle setting changed; DoubleYou found that this setting is not used by the game, and so is redundant. -

Yup, exactly, I just do it for organization. -
Cleaning the Registry on a new install
TwilightTech replied to bitdman's question in Other Utilities Support
I do it from time to time (always using the backup feature), just cause if I ever do need to take a look in the registry, it's nice to have gotten rid of the useless entries. -

Holy crap, it drops your framerate that much with that hardware? That's kind of worrying... -
Windows 10 - Overall Review and Modding
TwilightTech replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Banter Inn
What Kessno said. Basically, Microsoft is putting all of their gaming stuff under the Xbox monicker, which is in line with their push for universality in their products. Also, it sounds like Microsoft might be more focused on PC gaming soon! -

For anyone thinking about doing a clean install, a word of advice: just to be safe, when it allows you to sign in with your Microsoft account or create a local account during installation, pick the local account. You can switch to the Microsoft account after; however, some people (like me...) have had problems where the installation will hang afterwards, and manually restarting will just bring you back to the hang. -
Extreme FPS drop near Whiterun
TwilightTech replied to sourcedog's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Ouch, that CPU and RAM is gonna be bottlenecked a ton by the 960. -
Would be nice to get ETAC/ETaC for Expanded Towns and Cities.

Is there any reason why iMaxDecalsPerFrame is in it's own [Display] box in the INIs guide, separate from the main one?

ACCEPTED Static Mesh Improvement Mod - SMIM (by Brumbek)

Wow it seems that a side effect of the Workshop clusterf*** is that a lot more people are donating... which means more motivation for modders! So... thank you Valve, I guess? -
Partially because if all the textures start at 4k, the game download gets huge.
