@Akatosh I feel like I'm always bothering you. This will be my second plea for help. Ok, the first one I did figure out on my own, but still. Again, I apologize if I'm asking too "needy" I did follow the guide. I didn't use Merge Plugins. I am experiencing ctds. HOWEVER, I do believe it's some old scripts and broken code left over from previous playthroughs causing this issue for me, and I couldn't find it. So, I completely deleted EVERYTHING, including Skyrim saves, inis, backups, and downloads. And I'm going to just start from scratch. Saves don't matter to me. Sorry if this horrifies anyone. I really am not that kind of a person. The thrill for me is modding and the "Hack & Slash" of coding. HOWEVER, I screwed up ONE tiny thing. I "installed" SKSE this time. And for the life of me, I can't remember if the Skyrim Data folder starts out with a "Scripts" folder. The issue came up when I couldn't locate ANYONE from SKSE. Sheepishly, ~Gena @OmnisAmorte Really, Listen to Akatosh, on this one. You don't want to swim in CTDs. You don't need to be as drastic as me. Reinstalling is not that big of a deal, and you can actually do it quite quickly. Uninstall all your mods and through MO. Create a new profile in MO (I always name them Basic Step) Follow STEP 10 precisely, which will be easier because you've already done it at least once before that I know of. Do NOT add anything of the other mods. Now, start up the game make sure everything is gtg, do whatever it is you want. Run around, explore. (I do like to do that). Then quit. NOW, go back to MO, and COPY your Profile Basic Step to something like Omnis Step. I have to be honest here, Its probably a bad habit of mine, but I copy mine outside of MO and tweak it before I start up MO. It will probably easier for you to just COPY your Profile Basic Step IN MO though. NOW Add the mods you would like to have additionally in your game. You will need to Run, in this order preferably, TES5Edit, Loot, WyreBash, Dual Sheath Redux, and FNIS. Really, you don't NEED Merge Plugins with Step because, I don't know if you noticed, but a lot of STEP are Textures, Meshes, and Sounds. These are not things that count against you. I've used Merge Plugins a few times when I bundle my own creations together just so I didn't lose my own home grown mods. Oh, also, This particular mod "Shadowmarks for Player Homes" Only the Textures are needed. NOT the esp. Just from scanning take ALL this below OUT for your Basic. Consider using something other than Climates of Tamriel. I love CoT as well. But, all the dang patches just doesn't make it worth it.
