Let the debate begin! What are your arguments supporting the decision to go with either of the games? Or have you not decided yet, perhaps? For me, I went with Elite: Dangerous, purely because of the massive sentiment I have for Elite series. Elite: Frontier First Encounters remains the best game of all times for me, due to the vast universe available for the exploration, real star names, real galaxy representation, the complexity and multiple choices the player had in game, and the only game ever allowing for real time planet landings, with different activities available on them, from mining stations set up to landing and trading in the cities. So when I foud out that E:D is in development, I alreday knew which game I will choose, even though Star Citizen appears to be a great game also. So really, I have no true arguments, only nostalgia and sentiments to back my decision :)

I was thinking about X52, but it seems a bit too expensive. Instead, I have my eyes on Thrustmaster T.Flight HOTAS X, which receives really good reviews and is much cheaper, but doesn't seem to be vrey crippled in comparison to Saitek's X52. Re the ED vs SC debate: I'd be interested to see that as well, I just want this thread to be only about Elite game. ::EDIT:: I have now started a thread for ED vs SC discussion, see here.

Elite is my favourite game of all times, ever - Frontier First Encounters specifically. When Elite: Dangerous was announced I was extremely happy! I wasn't able to support it via KS at the time, but I purchased premium beta recently, however I only played it for about an hour so far due to some PC problems and holidays. Are there any Elite fans here? Do you guys plan to buy beta access or maybe someone already plays it? I'd love to exchange some opinions with you! I won't be playing it until I'm back home (another week to go), but once I'm back I want to really get into it! One question so far: if you are going to play it, do you plan to use a joystick, a pad or mouse+keyboard? I'm thinking of getting a joystick with a throttle handle. Oh, just one thing, I really don't want for this thread to become Elite vs Star Citizen thread, so please refrain from that kind of discussion :) Thanks in advance! ::EDIT:: I have now started a thread for ED vs SC discussion, see here.

Rather than PM, I'd suggest to create a separate thread for DA:O modding in Games section :) I was going to eventually look into modding and replaying that game too, so a thread would be great where we can post questions, suggestions and generally support each other :)

Deus Ex, go for it for sure. If you liked the previous games from this series, you should enjoy this one too. It's got really good atmosphere. Get ENB or some SweetFX preset to get rid of the orange tint. Just Cause II is a lot of fun actually, and you can mod it as well to improve graphics etc. :) I would also recommend Hitman:Absolution. A lot of hard core fans complained about it, but I actually enjoyed it a lot. I think it's a great game. Yeah, it's a bit simpler than the previous ones, but it's still a lot of fun!

I've seen it maybe 3 times in my current game (DD and DCO installed). It's annoying. I really want to test this fix, but the glitch didn't happen for hours and hours of gameplay now! Typical :n

Go to skyrimprefs.ini and search for bGamepadEnable value. What is it set to?

Check what are you mouse sensitivity settings in game. Also check if mouse acceleration is enabled or disabled in the ini file. Try connecting the mouse to another port a the back of your PC. If it's battery powered put new batteries in. These are the things that come to my mind straight away. See how it goes and report back.

Re point 1: as a workaround you can manually navigate to Mod OrganizerProfiles folder on your PC using file explorer and manually copy and paste any of the profiles listed there. Give the new folder a desired name and ensure that all the files are copied over from the original folder.

Nexus Link This mod allows your character to hide in barrels, big urns etc. It sounds pretty cool for a stealth character! To quote the author: Neat! Note I have not tested this personally.

Nexus Link Retexture of pillows... not much more to say. Not sure if the pillows retextures are currently provided by STEP to be honest and I'm unable to check (ramsticks RMA in progress...) so if anyone could provide some info that would be great.

Some scripted mods do require a clean save for updating as far as I'm aware. So you have to stop the scripts, uninstall the mod, make a save without this mod and it's scripts (this is the clean save), and then install the new mod version and use that clean save. Effectively it's as you'd be installing the mod for the first time.

Load order please. Did you try to load earlier saves? Did you add or remove any mods? Does CTD happen during the game being loaded, just after you select a saved game from the list or just after the game is actually loaded? Edit: did you start using ENBoost, as suggested before? Do you use SKSE? See? We need DETAILED description, not 5 word sentence effectively being "my game doesn't work, help".

Please provide more accurate and detailed description of your problem, your load order and full system spec,as per the disclaimer you have accepted before starting this thread. This is way too vague to troubleshoot your problem and it's a waste of time to ping pong questions and answers one by one.

Noooo, that happened ages ago! Edit: As for the stock cooler, it's loud (read it in a couple of places online, all say the same). Plus I may decide to OC it one day, you never know...

Ok, so it turns out that my Frio cooler is not compatible with my new mobo and it's slightly damaged (my bad, my hand slipped when I was installing it and 1 of the mounting screwes broke... so I superglued it ) and if that's not enough, the rubber isolator seals fell apart from age. Yeeeah, do not buy this product, you've been warned. Can anyone recommend a good, cheap cooling solution please? I checked that Karen, it's awesome, but well expensive! I don't want to spend more than £30, £40 at most .

Wow! I just found out that it's probably my current CPU that is not compatible with my RAM rather than my mobo. I was comparing the Phenom I have with my new Intel and at the very bottom it states this for my AMD CPU:

You can move Meshes/Cache to Race Menu mod folder and they will not reapper, until new ones will be created. Each time MO will create new versions of the files (logs for example will be recreated each game session) they will end up in Overwrite folder.
