  1. I thought Dawn of Whiterun 1.4 turned many of the items on the Bannered Mare porch tables into static items so they will no longer havoc (nor can you take them) - at least if I remember right... BTW, I use it and have no noticeable issues. Items from the liquor stall sometimes sprawl on the ground but I would rather have all the extra stuff in Whiterun than drop this mod.
  2. Interesting. What does BFT offer? Just more destinations and no mangled pedestrians?
  3. AS - LAL - "All vanilla edits to faction data have been removed. Faction relationships will now be exclusively handled in the DLC support script." I assume this is going to mean changes to the CR Patch. (Hopefully simplifications.)
  4. It is because of these issues that I am holding off on LOOT. For now BOSS plus BUM seems to give a more dependable result. In fact it strikes me that ultimately LOOT will need something similar to BOSS's Masterlist to encapsulate the accumulated wisdom of how to proceed in these cases where LOOT's technical rules result in ambiguous results. (This is all based on my intuitive understanding of what LOOT does and not any deep analysis if it's code - so maybe I'm completely wrong...) Probably ok to keep going, but I would still suggest you start over. You are only 8 hours into the game and it would suck to start having issues when you get to 50 hours... I'm probably too cautious/paranoid here but... It only takes a smallish probability of an issue for the cost-benefit of starting over to win out when you are so near the beginning.
  5. Thanks, that makes sense. It seems cruel to have the followers die because I screw up!
  6. Seems to work as advertised. Makes being "killed" or defeated much more of a critical event in the game. No longer do you just reload and try again, continuing along with your previous plan. Now your whole plan is out the window as you end up some place unplanned and have to figure out how get your stuff back and what to do in whatever place you ended up. I also find it much more immersive than the reload procedure. Now you have this disorienting series of events while you are being beaten and have to figure out exactly what happened and where you are. Great mod. I have no idea what changing from Normal to Easy in MCM actually does but it seems wrong to leave it on easy.
  7. This mod makes me feel a bit guilty about gutting yielding enemies. I had grown callous about this knowing that they would attack again soon.
  8. You should consider adding Death Alternative. (45894). It adds a much more immersive death/defeated experience to the game.
  9. Looks like a new SMIM is out and we can drop on e of the .esps. Version 1.69 -Edited SMIM-FarmhouseFlickeringFix.esp so it matches the USKP exactly to avoid confusion over conflicts. Reminder: you don't need this .esp if you use the USKP, but it won't hurt anything to load it with the USKP, too.
  10. What's the preferred Load order for: EnhancedLightsandFX.espELFX-Exteriors.espETaC - Complete.espETaC - Completes ELFX Patch.espWB indicates my LO is out of order (orange shading for the last patch above).
  11. I think it's back on today's version (11) - no? Thanks CJ. Very nice work!
  12. Any thoughts on the new ETaC 11.0 update? To answer my own question I saw the REGS guide has already been updated. Sweet! So (since no good deed ever goes unpunished), some different questions... What do people generally think of the new ETaC textures for: Falkreath,Dawnstar, andWinterhold? If I use SRLE I assume I should: not use the Better Fast Travel Patch (as I already use Touring Carriages rather than this)use the ELFX patch in ETaC (w/ exteriors) patchesnot use the lanterns of Skyrim patch, no?
  13. Hearthfire - Three new Build Your Own Home, plus adoptions, huscarls and hiring staff. Some quirky things like raising plants, fish and new food and cooking. Not a huge DLC but it adds a bit for immersion/role playing on the domestic front. A lot of its resources are used elsewhere, such as new types of cooking (ovens) and foods which many mods use. I've gotten my money's worth from it. Given that it's now in the Legendary Edition I suspect more and more mods will be built assuming you use it.
  14. Does it break any quests?
  15. Yes. A particularly insidious problem is that if your CR patch merges entries from two plugins and has an entry referencing a property such as a keyword, class or the like. This will all work fine when you first do it. The problem can come when any of the plugin involved gets updated. If the plugin with that property gets updated and the property you referenced in your CR patch is removed from the dependent plugin, then your CR patch will look fine in WB (all green), but when you load the game you will get an ILS with the emblem displaying just before the choice of whether to start a new game or lad a save, etc comes up.
  16. The exact order of many mods doesn't matter, they are just grouped for convenience to get similar types of mods near each other. Since different authors see the grouping occurring in slightly different ways, they end up being in different orders. You should check the conflicts in MO to understand where the ordering matters.
  17. I am using REGS with SRLE. Doing the conflict resolution I did not come across several of the NPCs in ETAC that metnioned as needing cleaning: Non-Player Character (Actor) 0001361E Rustleif Non-Player Character (Actor) 0001361F <Seren> Non-Player Character (Actor) 00013650 <Lod> It seems some though not all of the previous content from Dawnstar is no longer present in ETAC Complete - though maybe it is just the version I used.
  18. What Riften patch do you use if you have Cutting Room Floor and Dawn of Riften but not Interesting NPCs? (they're TOO interesting!) What happened to the REGS Patch - RWT.esp patch?
  19. I think I use a mod that makes Daedric glow, but it's Neenah a while since I used that armor. I agree with making the others camouflage, maybe Daedric too as it is mystical after all... What I would really like to see is that using a dark cape or cloak allows one to use the camouflage perk, even if the items underneath would not qualify. The ranger type skulking around wrapped in a dark cloak who then reveals himself when he removes (or opens) his cloak... A list of which items are included by default would be very nice - though I almost always use the ring to give the perk to armors I think should have it. How much does having the perk really help? BTW, my preference with this perk is that you should be pretty liberal with allowing it. If someone spent a perk on it then anything not obviously shiny should probably get it. (Or at least that's how I see it.) Should naked Dark Elves (and Red Guards or Orcs) get it? :)
  20. Discussion thread: Enchantment Reload Fix by egocarib Wiki Link Excellent new enchanting fix by Egocarib. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52717 Accepted for STEP 2.2.9.1.
  21. How does the compare with, or is it compatible/complimentary with, EotW Dawnguard DLC Textures Remastered by EcthelionOtW and misslexi?
  22. I've been using it a bit and like it. If you have multiple followers it's probably worth going into the MCM and reducing the frequency of comments a bit.
  23. Please link to the Nexus mod page and not the download (or at least that's my preference)...
