  1. I liked this one too. A coupe of suggestions: The Skyforged dagger and battle ax plus the coin purses by the by the new statue should not be free to take - they should at least count as stealing if you grab them. (Easy enough in the night with few guards around.) Also, Mithllon has a magic bow and sword laying on his table - he should have a magic weapon or two for sale in his inventory. (Maybe he does at higher levels I was only level one when I ran around the place.) Great mod. Used with with Immersive Patrols and Inconsequential NPCs - makes for a nice bustling city. Love the goats and chickens in town (I assume they are yours) - they give it a very medieval feeling. Can't wait until you do some more of the cities... hint hint...
  2. Very nice. Will definitely use this. One suggestion - the three Dark Elf merchants with stalls near the docks had all of their good flagged as free to take - I think it should count as stealing to take them.
  3. No, just Conflicts and everything above it.
  4. Wrath of the North - Stormcloaks gear re-mastered by EcthelionOtW https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/45155 IIRC the standard version is textures only, while the UNP and CBBE versions include meshes too. Visually the main effect seems to be to make them more saturated and the colors a bit deeper. I only installed them recently so don't have much experience with them, but I liked his Imperials so I figured I'd give the Stormcloaks a chance too.
  5. Yes. Â I pretty much grabbed all of his re textures (magicians' robes, items, Dawnguard weapons, Imperial & Stormcloak re textures, Ancient Falmer armor retextures (but not meshes) and artifacts). Most of these are things not touched in other retextures (beyond HRDLC) and I loaded them before Book of Silence (not based upon a detailed comparison but merely on the theory that Cabal's stuff is nice and you can't go wrong using it). Yes they are.Â
  6. Ren's Shrine 2.0 is out. Looks like it has a modular format which will allow us to pick and choose between her original, alternate and vanilla for each shrine. Any recommendations/advice?
  7. Maybe I'm wrong here, but while it would be out of scope for Core STEP or the like, combat mods could definitely be used as part of a "pack" and thus would be worth discussing.
  8. I'll have to have another look at these. Anyone have any views on the quality of these? Are they technically done or buggy?
  9. I use the whole mod but then overwrite it with Cabal's stuff. There are a few items they both do.
  10. I saw the the two extra robes in there when I installed it. BRW, I also like the author's Virtus Imperii (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34321) which re textures Imperial armor and weapons. I've started using his re textures of Stormcloak gear and Dawnguard weapons too.
  11. The merged pack also includes Psijiic and Greybeard robes. Seems nice.
  12. Load up all your mods in TES5Edit, examine each cell and see if there is anything overwritten. If there is decide what to do about the conflict. It's more a matter of judgement than hard and fast rules.
  13. I have used and am using Deadly Dragons. Should be fine. Check in TES5Edit but I think it doesn't need a patch.
  14. Yes - it would certainly make the Clairvoyance spell useful!
  15. Just in case any non-English-speaking-as-a-native-tongue want to know .... generally, a few of the many options might be: 'joints', 'seams', 'crevices', 'boundaries', 'interstices' ... probably many more :P Anyway, this mod definitely is a contender in many regards (I hate the idea of mixing/matching the best of everything though, since tiny details and styles differ ... but TPC does it I suppose) (Pedantic mode on.) I thought he was referring to mortar - the cement that binds rocks or bricks in place. If it is empty then yes, crevice or more likely gap is how I would describe them. (Pedantic mode off.)
  16. Look at the history from the last time you updated to the most recent update.
  17. Yes. Load all ESPs all up in TES5Edit at once (so you don't have to be opening, saving and closing TES5Edit multiple times). Make sure to sort master on your conflict file as the last thing you do before exiting TES5Edit.
  18. Is the patch for Book Covers of Skyrim from here needed (fro Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade)? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50441
  19. Neo has also said (IIRC) that it interferes with a color (yellow?) in the game. If it weren't for these issues it's a much more immersive map. The 3D map looks cool, but there's something about following the hero's adventures on a paper (looking) map - maybe it reminds me if pouring over Tolkein's naps when reading Lord of the Rings in ages gone by.
  20. I took a different approach from CJ and simply rebuilt the patch. Took about 2 hours and I don't have to worry if I scraped out all the residue from old patches. This is a drawback of a single large patch - it's more efficient (especially in terms of ESP slots and to lesser extent in terms of building in the first place) but it is harder to maintain as ESPs are swapped in and out of the game.
  21. Seems clever. Brodual's video of it made me want to try it. The fact that you can run into named NPCs out on their own adventures is really appealing - it would seem like it would make Skyrim more lively and also give the impressions that other people are living their own lives and having their own adventures without having everything revolve around the PC. Other vaguely similar mods are: "Immersive Patrols" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12977/?), "Populated Lands Roads Paths" (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48127/?) and DBF Random Encounters (and DBF Random Encounters MCM add-on) (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32394/?) plus perhaps parts of OBIS.
  22. The new Book of Slience file ''aMidianBorn_ContentAddon.esp'' replaces it. It will require rebuilding your Conflict esp.
  23. Isn't daedric weapons a bit of overkill for these guys? Seems like they would be a good early-mid game source of picking up OP weapons if one were inclined to kill them.
