If there are new LOD models used for object LOD generation, (some) base records need to have the HasLOD flag set in order for object LOD to work correctly. If you want to create LOD with DynDOLOD to include in a mod use the Create Mod mode as explained to create a plugin to merge those updated base records with the mod.

Always use the x64 version. There is no reason to use the x86 version unless a x86 OS is used. Upload the log, debug log and bugreport.txt if there are problems using the x64 version.

Can not find DynDOLOD Resources SE Core Files
sheson replied to jcamp's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Do not post screenshots of text. Post the text instead. The screenshot of MO2 is useless as it can not show the entire files and folders of the DynDOLOD Resources SE. It is always the same reasons as explained already in the message and the second post of this thread. The game should not be installed into special Windows folder like Program Files x86 to avoid problems with UAC, anti vir etc. -
TexGen generates LOD resources. It does not require LOD resources. If it did, it would have warned about the wrong version just like DynDOLOD.

This is the DynDOLOD support forum for questions and problems related to xLODGen, DynDOLOD or LOD generation. The papyrus log reports about issues with papyrus script. Missing scripts and properties typically do not cause CTD. https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/index.php?title=Papyrus_Runtime_Errors#.22Cannot_open_store_for_class_X.2C_missing_file.3F.22 https://ck.uesp.net/wiki/index.php?title=Papyrus_Runtime_Errors#.22Unable_to_bind_script_.3Cscript_name.3E_to_.3CForm_ID.3E_because_their_base_types_do_not_match.22

FAQ: Game: Rectangular holes in LOD A: Caused by vanilla pre-computed occlusion. Has nothing to do with the LOD data itself. Either use xLODGen or DynDOLOD to update the data. See the 'TVDT - Occlusion Data' section in ..DynDOLOD\Docs\DynDOLOD_Manual.html and https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/14250-skyrim-tvdt-occlusion-culling-data/

Read the first post of the DynDOLOD 3 Alpha thread where to make posts. I moved the post. Read the first post which log and debug log to upload when making posts. Read https://dyndolod.info/Help/Summary-Of-Messages Read the Summary page that opens in the browser and follow its suggestions. Read the explanations for each listed warning or error message to learn what they mean and how serious they are. Check the load order for errors with xEdit and fix them as much as possible before generating LOD. Astral.esp and DHSpell.esp for example with their unexpected (or out of order) subrecord LNAM Follow the suggestion of LOOT to clean plugins. As the installation instructions explain, do not install 3rd party billboards. Use TexGen to generate all desired billboards as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Help/TexGen-Configuration#Tree-Grass-LOD-Billboards Read the https://dyndolod.info/FAQ DynDOLOD Game Questions - ILS or CTD and the ..\DynDOLOD\docs\DynDOLOD-README.txt for troubleshooting tips. Especially checking the .Net Framework Crash log has often the best information about the CTD. Post it if further help is required.

SKYRIMSE Blubbo's Aspen trees custom mafe hybrid 3d trees lod issue
sheson replied to vektor9999's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Make sure the root node of models has no translation and a scale = 1.0 -
If you only want to generate for specific LOD quads (files), put the LOD level and the lower left cell coordinates of the quad into the specific chunk fields. If you leave the dropdown "empty" all levels for the coordinates will be generated. The coordinates need to match LOD quads steps of 4, 8, 16, 32. You can get those the numbers from the LOD meshes/textures filenames for example, the DynDOLOD SkyUI You are here or use the maps posted here https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2251/ LOD quads do not coincide with regions or locations though.

Can not find required file / File not found Skyrim.Hardcoded.dat
sheson replied to lieutenantkhaos's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
What is the question for this self explanatory message? That file is part of the DynDOLOD Standalone archive. It is required to be installed and to be accessible. See https://dyndolod.info/Installation-Instructions Install 7-Zip Use 7-Zip to unpack the DynDOLOD Standalone archive into a new and empty 'DynDOLOD' directory that is outside of special OS folders like 'Programs Files' or 'Program Files (x86)', User, Documents, Desktop, Download and also not in SteamApps, game, Data or any mod manager folders. For example C:\Modding\DynDOLOD\. -
This is the DynDOLOD 3 Alpha thread. DynDOLOD does not create grass cache data. You need to ask questions about third party mods (e.g. NGIO) on the appropriate comments/forum/discord for the third party mod. If anything changes the grass base records or anything that affects grass placements in the worldspace, the grass cache is going to be outdated.

When making posts, upload the debug log to a file service as well as explained at https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs. Pay attention to the Unresolved FormID error messages and fix them as explained at https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Unresolved-Form-ID Either install the correct version of RealisticWaterTwo.esp for which MoonStarRWpatch.esp was created for or vice versa.
-
Read the linked help page https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Unresolved-Form-ID that opens for Click on this link for additional explanations and help for this message The runtime version is irrelevant. Install the correct Unofficial Patch version for whatever version the game plugin files are. Then fix the Location.esp to not link to or use records that do not exist in the load order. The error exist in the plugins of the load order. Using different DynDOLOD versions does not change/fix/cause errors in plugins.

SKYRIMSE Dyndolod Cannot Find Master Data - sometimes...
sheson replied to Bluegunk's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
If you mean the data files, they are in the SKSE subfolder of the DynDOLOD output. So they are installed with the DynDOLOD plugins and meshes and textures subfolders. -
SKYRIMSE Dyndolod Cannot Find Master Data - sometimes...
sheson replied to Bluegunk's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
Use the latest version DynDOLOD 2.97 or DynDOLOD 3 Alpha 56 No idea what JSON log you are referring to. Check the SKSE *.log that and/or the Papyrus*.log Make sure the plugin limit of 254 full plugins is not exceeded. Use Engine Fixes to increase the file handle limit. Make sure antivir, UAC is not preventing file access. -
DynDOLOD requires PapyrusUtil
sheson replied to Wolfstorm321's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
The message states the fact that PapyrusUtil is not working. The fact that PapyrsUtil is not working has nothing to do with DynDOLOD. From Downloads / Additional Requirements SKSE and the DLL plugins of DynDOLOD DLL and PapyrusUtil have different versions for each runtime version of the games. The version of the runtime can be found by right clicking the executable (TESV.exe, SkyrimVR.exe, SkyrimSE.exe), Properties, Details tab and checking the entry for Product Version. In addition, the TexGen and DynDOLOD log will print log lines with version information for the runtime, SKSE, DynDOLOD DLL and PapyrusUtil DLL. After that, read the FAQ answers again, e.g. check the skse64.log. -
DynDOLOD requires PapyrusUtil
sheson replied to Wolfstorm321's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
From the DynDOLOD FAQ DynDOLOD requires PapyrusUtil If the intention is to use DynDOLOD DLL, make sure the papyrus scripts from DynDOLOD DLL overwrite the papyrus scripts from DynDOLOD Resources. PapyrusUtil is not installed, outdated or not running at all. Make sure the correct PapyrusUtil version for the current Skyrim and SKSE versions is installed and that none of its files are overwritten by other mods. Check the c:\Users\[USERNAME]\Documents\My Games\[Skyrim|Skyrim Special Edition|Skyrim VR]\SKSE\[skse|skse64].log that the PapyrusUtil DLL was loaded correctly. From the DynDOLOD log you posted: Game: F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\SkyrimSE.exe, Version: 1.6.323, Date: 2021-12-05 05:02:51 SKSE: F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\skse64_loader.exe, Version: 2.1.3, Date: 2021-11-23 01:46:30 PapyrusUtil DLL: F:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\SKSE\Plugins\PapyrusUtil.dll, Version: 3.4b, Game Version: 1.5.39, Date: 2018-04-07 07:08:01 -
The xx stands for the load order id of the plugin, which depends on how many plugins are loaded into xEdit and their order. xEdit shows the ID in front of the file name in the tree view. The log you uploaded shows that those cell coordinates exit in the plugin. Edit: On second glance, the cells added by JK Skyrim also serve no purpose and could be be removed as well.

You might want to pay attention to the message listed in the summary. In particular the HITME and having installed 3rd party billboard textures. This is a problem: [02:22] <Warning: Duplicate Cell at -1,-1 in JKs Skyrim.esp [CELL:2F023913] (in RiftenWorld "Riften" [WRLD:00016BB4] at -1,-1) and RLO - Exteriors.esp [CELL:390116D5] (in RiftenWorld "Riften" [WRLD:00016BB4] at -1,-1)> [02:22] <Warning: Duplicate Cell at 0,-1 in JKs Skyrim.esp [CELL:2F000E2F] (in RiftenWorld "Riften" [WRLD:00016BB4] at 0,-1) and RLO - Exteriors.esp [CELL:390116D6] (in RiftenWorld "Riften" [WRLD:00016BB4] at 0,-1)> Two different plugins add new cell records with different form ID for the same coordinates. A patch is required. On first glance the cells xx0116D6 and xx0116D5 in RLO - Exteriors.esp should just be removed.

DynDOLOD requires PapyrusUtil
sheson replied to Wolfstorm321's question in DynDOLOD & xLODGen Support
From the DynDOLOD FAQ Q: Game: DynDOLOD requires PapyrusUtil A: If the intention is to use DynDOLOD DLL, make sure the papyrus scripts from DynDOLOD DLL overwrite the papyrus scripts from DynDOLOD Resources. A: PapyrusUtil is not installed, outdated or not running at all. A: Make sure you have the correct PapyrusUtil version for the current Skyrim and SKSE versions that is used and none of its files are overwritten by other mods. A: Check the c:\Users\[username]\Documents\My Games\[Skyrim|Skyrim Special Edition|Skyrim VR]\SKSE\[skse|skse64].log that the PapyrusUtil DLL was loaded correctly. https://levelskip.com/rpgs/How-to-Take-Screenshots-in-Skyrim -
Red the first post of the DynDOLOD 3 alpha thread where to make posts. I moved the post to the thread. Do not post screenshots of text. Post the text instead. Read the first post which log files and bugreport.txt to upload when making posts. Instead of posting screenshots of message, use the Copy message to clipboard and post the text instead as explain on the first post. Check the mentioned cell in xEdit. Which plugin adds it? Check for errors with xEdit. It might not be directly related to the error, though.
