ENB stopped loading injector?
thalastwon replied to NewYears1978's question in Post-Processing Support
Is your ENB loading in the first place when you boot up skyrim with it set up? You see the text in the top left corner when you boot it, right? If ENB is working like it should in at least loading, then double check that you have EnableProxyLibrary=true and InitProxyFunctions=true in your enbseries.ini. It does sound like you know what you're doing, but sometimes wierd stuff happens when you reinstall. Happens to me all the time.:yucky: Another thing you can do is check your skyrimprefs.ini and make sure that bEnableFileSelection=1 and bFloatPointRenderTarget=1. When generating vanilla .inis I forget to check those sometimes too. -
I'm stupid and disorganized my Mods.

You set your mod folder to .../modorganizer/mods? or you set it to your basic skyrim data directory? -
Farlo is correct. To add to that, the overwrite folder is there for when you make changes to esm or esps. If you use Wrye Bash to make a bashed patch or make a merged patch in TESV Edit, it'll show up there. Anything in there automatically overwrites any .esm or .esp in your skyrim data folder or MO's mod folder of the same name, so that you have the changed file, as well as the unchanged file still available. I hope that made sense.
-
Yes, it does. When you make changes to an esp or esm, it is backed up and saved under the overwrite folder in MO.

Dag, your clock's at 980? I was able to get mine from 850 to 900 safely. A bit higher than that and the heaven benchmark crashes on boot. Wont even load the program.

Im hoping I might be able to move up from my GTX 560 Ti to a GTX 670 in January. Hopefully I'll get the student loans to afford it. Currently I'm running Baseline step with a few of the body mods on Neovalen's list and getting 35-50 fps outside. Inside I get 60 tho. If only I could just turn my physical ram into Vram.

Happy Thanksgiving you guys. I'm thankful for step for making me realize that my graphics card will never be adequate, lol.

Epic moments in Skyrim
thalastwon replied to thalastwon's topic in General Skyrim LE Discussion & Support
Thats pretty funny! I've subscribed to Skyrim's Game Fails Channel. I'll put some highlights here. This one was called "The rare species of care bear in Skyrim" [video=youtube] 'Hunh, I have a different Guess why we stopped'Â [video=youtube] 'Easiest way to kill a mammoth' - Still happens to me often. [video=youtube] "The correct tense would be 'Knew' you" [video=youtube] -
Which graphics card do you have?

Project ENB (CoT Realistic) - sun shining through objects
thalastwon replied to rootsrat's question in Post-Processing Support
First thing I'd recommend is make sure you have bFloatPointRenderTarget set to 1 in your skyrimprefs.ini . If the issue continues after that, then I'm not sure what other steps to take. I had the same issue when I created .ini files from scratch while updating to 1.8 and this fixed it. -
The way I have my MO set up under executibles, I have one linked to the BOSS.exe in my boss installation folder, and another one linked to BOSS GUI.exe. When I use BOSS GUI.exe, I'll click edit user rules and set up my BOSS rules list in there. BOSS.exe will just sort the list in my case. As long as I use BOSS.exe or BOSS GUI.exe, it will sort it and use the rules list generated from the BOSS GUI path. As long as you use MO to open the program you want, it should see all the plugins just fine. I think there's a program called Boss Userlist Manager, but its easier to just use the BOSS GUI to create the rules list. I hope this information helps.
-
I use MO with BOSS to create a list of the esm/esps I have when necessary. Other than that I don't think its possible to get MO to create an installed list.

When using this ENB I had to turn gamebugs and speedhack to false to regain some frames.

This mod right here, I believe is required in everyone's mod setup. The most immersive mod on the steam workshop. [video=youtube] -
SKYRIMLE Skyrim Bigger Trees (by Xweto and Jonigts)
thalastwon replied to Besidilo's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Besidilo: Yep, basically. Im guessing 4k textures would alleviate this as well. My rig can only handle 1k textures though, so I can't really test that. -

I definitely noticed the texture stretching with this mod, but holy cow, look across a clearing or head into a forest and it looks like the forests here in Washington. The immersion is amazing! -
Yeah wow. I might be picking this up as my alternative. It looks amazing to me in the screenshots at least, since I cant run with Skyrealism. Plus I hate that ENB drops my framerate, whereas without ENB I have 60 FPS everywhere. My only worry is that without ENB, wont the shadow striping bug come back? Gonna go ahead and test this out anyways.

Using a mod manager is definitely your choice, I recommend Mod Organizer as well. What the note is saying is that if a mod has a choice between using a .bsa or loose files, to choose that for better compatibility and stability. There is also the option to take the .bsa file and extract the files for it to make them loose files. Mod Organizer now gives you the option to extract .bsas when you install mods.

SKYRIMLE Any thoughts on the SkyRealism mods?
thalastwon replied to jasonstory44's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'm a fan of skyrealism. I got it to work for about a week. After that it crashed so much I had to go back to a .113 enb. What I did play of it, I highly recommend it. -
Having WB use MO's mod directory
thalastwon replied to electricgeneral's question in General Skyrim LE Support
You stated that you installed both version of Wrye Bash. I'd recommend you only install the standalone version of WB and then give it a try from MO. As it seems you shouldn't be having issues opening WB from MO. I also recommend right clicking MO and WB's .exes and making sure to checkmark run as administrator in the compatibility section. Its the only way to keep everything working mod-wise on my computer. -

Are you using MO with Administrative controls? I'm having trouble following what steps you've taken through the thread. -
Having WB use MO's mod directory
thalastwon replied to electricgeneral's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The problem with that is that using MO for downloading is fine, but updating wont work unless the mod is installed through MO. It checks the installed mod's version against the version on the nexus. Your best bet is to use NMM for downloading/updating and WB for clean installs and such. You'll still have to get NMM to download to the bash installers folder, but it can check the nexus for updates without the mod having to be installed through it, so then you can freely install with WB -
Having WB use MO's mod directory
thalastwon replied to electricgeneral's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Are you using MO to organize the mods and then WB to make the patch? Or are you trying to use MO to just download the mods and want WB to install them? If the former then you just have to start WB from MO and you'll be able to rebuild the patch no problem, go back to MO and start the game as usual, since the bashed patch won't change. If the latter, you might as well take MO out of the equation.
