  2. ooh I can't wait, I tried my best to get a loadout following Tech's guide and some references to this guide to get the experience I felt from LOTD. It's close but not the same.
  3. Recently installed LOTD since I felt like retrying to make Skyrim work with me again and I love how stable the game is while keeping a stable fps always at max while looking so pretty even with the ENB. Really great guide despite its length lol

Even though the guide is finished, I wanted to suggest to anyone who wants to use Borderless Windowed Fullscreen mode for FNV for alt-tab ability, a recent mod called OneTweak ported over from Skyrim for use with NVSE. It is compatible with ENBseries so no oddities occur when used together unlike older Borderless Windowed remedies for New Vegas. For F&L, before installing any game fixes, simply manually download the mod, extract the .dll file to your New Vegas directory. To install the ini file 1. Create a new Mod Folder in MO, name it One Tweak 2. Create a new Data Folder within it 3. Within the Data Folder, create a folder named NVSE 4. Within the NVSE Folder, create a folder named Plugins 5. Copy or Move the OneTweak.ini file inside this folder and enable the mod in Mod Organizer Edit the ini within MO to your pleasing and enjoy.
  5. I didn't realize the page had been updated with RWL. My bad. It's take me a bit to remember what I had setup, but I did remember that I used Hitman's 1st person animation overhaul, gonna have to go through the guns again in GECK to change animations and make sure reload sounds play correctly... fun.

I'd actually like help on this as well since Enhancement was removed I've been steadily against installing F&L again on my new computer since I lost the mod package and I'm cautious on installing the regular Realistic Wasteland Lighting without ******* up lighting somehow. I remember Nevada Skies eating fps too much at times for me to enjoy it anymore. Guide updates would be appreciated since CaliberX5.0 still hasn't been rereleased as well by RoyBatty since he's busy with TTW.
  7. Ah I recently encountered this too. A random raider dreadnaught spawned when I wasn't even expecting it at my character level, managed to killed and loot his armor, but only some parts of the dreadnaught level armor had the armor keywords properly applied to it, specifically the chest piece, while the rest I had to put in the tags such as |ArmR| in-game so that they would show up under armor rather than outside of it in the pipboy. It was strange but not game breaking imho. Responce: Ahhhh innr Naming, I think I have that glitch sorted in my version. Currently I'm waiting for the new armor keywords to come out before releasing it. Legendary raider spawns (level 2,9,17,25 etc) they are also set 5% stronger than you. So hard legendary fight AWESOME working as intended :) - I'm looking into "breaking" armor and weapon drops so you can't seek out high level equipment on enemies at low levels.(also scaling low level EQ on legendary mobs) I'm fiddling with leveled lists and NPC hardness. In my gave they auto level to 99 and tough a nails but vanilla weapons weapons run out of steam at about 40-50, making up a crafting patch to extend the vanilla weapons (need to do about 80-120 dps at 60 or your toast with 3 on 1 combat.)
  8. Yes, I've tried it with a F&L loadout that I had awhile back. It worked fine since its an auto-patch method so there were no incompatibilities. You still need the base files, just have the compatability version below the original files and hide the original mod's esp.
  9. tbqh I never liked the scrap everything type mods, their nice but the downsides hurt also, I almost always would **** up and scrap things I never wanted to scrap when I just want to mass scrap quickly to make space and get mats

  11. Is the Combat Hatchet looking like this for anyone else? I've tried making sure the files were loose, and when that gave this, I tried archiving everything into .ba2 like the instructions said and that didn't help. Solutions for this?

  13. Have you sorted out your mods properly and applied proper bash tags to the merged esp? If so, go into xedit to see if there's something conflicting with the merged esp.
  14. I'm on the insider build and nothings broken and my vramsizetest is showing a beautiful number. (I don't recommend to do this unless you are certain nothing will break your apps) It's amazing.
  15. I spoke too soon. It was just my LOD not loading right... Oops. I wish I could delete my previous post. One last time: Refer to the posts here for fixing the flat/grey texture bug appearing on Bush LOD's and for Skadi's fixes for Normal Maps.
  16. Ok. So I used Skadi's normal maps fix with the one I posted and the bushes showed another bush but blurry even up close. Hiding the file fix I did before and it went back to normal, so for the record if you have a flat, grey texture appearing on your LOD's Output on certain bushes, refer to Skadi's post and either create a new mod folder or merge it with the original LOD Resources for Vurt's Mod and run FNVLODGen.

  18. Fixed! In case anyone gets the same problem as me, here's the comment about LOD Resources for Vurts.
  19. Ok, I redid the LODGen for the new fixes but adding the skibadaa's LOD Resources for Vurts gives me this in the Finished LODOutput. What .dds file am I missing here/messing up? Edit: There's a fix by a commenter named chadsketch on Skibadaa's Mod page. Exactly same issue so I'm gonna try his fix. Gotta love rerunning LODGen lmao.

Your modding guide helped me advance my modding ways since 2014 and eventually led me to the point that I can make xedit patches without looking at xEdit and thinking "What the **** am I looking at?" now in every bethesda Fallout game and TES. I like the that you're not quitting altogether on New Vegas so I look forward to whatever crazy things you think up. See you Wasteland Cowboy!

  23. Not if he uses the compatibility version of IMPACT that doesn't need patching at all. It works universally without causing conflicts. Just make sure to use it's replacement .esp rather than the original IMPACT's for the scripted patcher to work. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/62050/?
