JawZ Posted January 14, 2016 Author Posted January 14, 2016 Such edits are happening, I just used my batch edit scripts in TES5EDIT to quickly normalize certain weather values for all weathers. And also because I didn't know if this would be worth doing for STEP at the time.Per weather changes will come, optimizing the visuals more in-depth per weather without causing issues by while using a 3rd party post-processing tool, such as ENBSeries or ReShade.
TechAngel85 Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Definitely worth doing. I'll be putting this in our official lighting and weather pack!
JawZ Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 Until I get home and can post for real. Vividian fogs and clouds already make certain changes my fix mod doesn't and they work well together when WeatherFixesload afterwith some xedit forwarding. Just giving you an idea. But i Will work on my own solutions. 1
TechAngel85 Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 When using the Extended Weathers module from Vividian with this, load this mod after Vividian and then the main forwards will be the cloud speed adjustments. There are some others I don't remember of the top of my head, but that's the main one.
JawZ Posted January 22, 2016 Author Posted January 22, 2016 (edited) Uploaded a new TES5EDIT script to apply Weather corrections made available by Boris to make Ambient lighting better for the ENBSeries Skylighting effect. TechAngel85I have forwarded the changes and going to work on Fog properties as well as Dawnguard and Dragonborn weathers for the next release. Edited January 22, 2016 by JawZ
benhat Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 just came across this topic.currently i am trying to speed up adaptation for vivid weathers. but there seems to be a bug if the speed is set too high in IS. tried value 300. i would like to go for a near instant adaptation like 150ms (which is minimum in ENB also). if combined with high timescale 33333 for example the adpatation seems to bug out and gets fixed at a max bright value, never changing again, only fix is to restart game.so i wonder if that is some kind of math error in skyrim engine. and most of all... if that behaviour will happen ingame even with a timescale of 20.any insights on that by chance?
DepartedCitizen-00002 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 (edited) Is it recommended to use this with the latest Vivid Weather + Vividian ENB or did Manga incorporated this changes since? Edited November 2, 2016 by Zorkha
TechAngel85 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Is it recommended to use this with the latest Vivid Weather + Vividian ENB or did Manga incorporated this changes since? No, it's not compatible with Vivid Weathers since they are both changing the same things (weathers).
DepartedCitizen-00002 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Ok, thanks a lot, I could have messed up here because of the post before mine (I'm too curious ^^).
TechAngel85 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 You can make them work together, if you know what you're doing. For normal users, I wouldn't recommend it.
DepartedCitizen-00002 Posted November 2, 2016 Posted November 2, 2016 Yeah I've read again, missed this I think : "I made it with STEP in mind because STEP doesn't have any weather alteration mod, weather effect additions yes, original weather alteration no."
Soulmancer Posted February 3, 2020 Posted February 3, 2020 Sorry to necro this, but is this intended to be used with your weather plugin?
