Following the Guide: Mod Cleaning Question

Hi, I'm following the guide, but have an issue when told to clean mods, the mod cleaning guide is not clear. It says to look at the BOSS log to if there are any UDR's or ITM's. I assume the BOSS report is all that text on the right, and I also assume I just have to look through that and see if there are any mentions of UDR or ITM?

 

Is that right? Because if so I have not seen any UDRs or ITM's in the mods the guide is telling me needs cleaning.

 

So I'm confused :/

What guide are you actually following? The F&LNV guide doesn't make mention of referring to BOSS reports as an indicator of which plugins to clean.

BOSS has long since been replaced by LOOT as the tool to use for sorting plugins.

 

The process of cleaning plugins is identical for all Bethesda games so this Skyrim specific guide will help you in the process. Take particular note of the "two possible outcomes" when using xEdit from within MO.
