Clearly mine that I lazily pushed out with a dodgy name Ess... :;): Good job it requires no further updates though. Phew! Nah, probably Optimzed Vanilla Textures because it has a nice balance of performance and visuals. I like that approach better. If you want ahything more drastic, just drop the detail in-game.

Edit:

Oh my guys, this music!

Power fisting raiders into a red smudge in a school, while listening to: 'Why does my heart keep on beating? Why do these eyes of mine cry? Don't they know it's the end of the world? It ended when you said goodbye.' (AKA End of the World) was so powerful, sad, crazy and beautiful at the same time! That has to be the best song in the game, even though I'm sure it was in Fallout 3 too. Not sure why Butcher Pete came back, I really hate that one. I wish they added some more new songs like Johnny B. Goode or similar. Do these songs even need licences anyway?

Looks like fairly realistic review.

You would think that, unless you know him... in which case it was very light on criticism. He normally rips games apart for bugs, but in this review they are "charming". Really hard to take any game reviews seriously these days to be honest.

I know. I saw a few of his videos in past, and thought "wtf is he saying there, positive things?" This review is also unusually long. He seems to have nailed it in pretty much every aspect (if I can judge that without actually playing the game myself). I don't think he said the bugs were ok, btw.

I haven't play Fallout 4 much. There already are a lot of interesting mods/fix/improvement. Hope someone can start a guide!!! I know all of us still busy playing.

Apart from the PC dialog mod, have a look at the one that modifies Power Armour energy usage. It makes walking practically power-free but running and above all fighting still consume a configurable amount of power.

Force is here. F4SE

Here's what it features:

0.1.0:
- everything
- plugin manager
- simple hooks for papyrus, scaleform, and the classic script system, but nothing useful for modders yet
- customization of internal keymappings
    Copy CustomControlMap.txt to Data\F4SE\CustomControlMap.txt.
Edit that file to set your bindings. The format is the same as Skyrim, it's a space-separated file.
The first column is the name of the internal keybind. The second column is the keyboard scan code that should activate the bind in hex, or 0xFF if unbound. Use google to find a table of scan codes. The third column is for mice, the fourth for controllers. The next three columns control whether or not a control should be written to the user's config file. The final column specifies which input layer the bind is associated with - you will probably not want to change that.
- currently-installed version of F4SE is shown in the Settings menu next to the game version
- running GetF4SEVersion from the console will print the current version as well
- log spam is written to My Documents\My Games\Fallout4\F4SE\

Keymapping is now available. ::):

I have a bunch of useful mods installed... not sure if I like the game enough yet to create a guide just yet. I am considering it though.

So is it possible to make the UI controls (e.g. looting, terminals, etc) more like New Vegas?

Also, does anyone know how to remove Trish's note from your inventory? It's a quest item from Diamond City Blues, but in usual Bethesda fashion, it remains a quest item even after completion.

You can change a la Skyrim style I believe by editing the controlmap.txt. I play with a controller. The Xbox gamepad setup is actually pretty good, I just want to change up the melee/throw grenade thing.

That item may need to be fixed with FO4Edit. I don't think it's far enough along to make the fix though.

Is there a way to find its id (apart from checking it before picking up, which is no longer an option for me)?

I was using a gamepad before, but I realised that it was the cause of the stutter I was experiencing (55-59fps variations). Switched to mouse and keyboard, and now it's a lot smoother. Downside is that the UI controls feel weird compared to New Vegas. Used to pressing "E" to enter and exit menus, and "A" to take everything.
