Â Unfortunately it doesn't update the CK to the new formats, so mod authors will have to wait in order to make/update mods that are compatible with 1.8 :PÂ Savegames made with 1.8 active will not work with previous versions (as usual).

Valamyr Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Solsthiem, dragon mounts, casting magic and shouting while dragon-mounted, new gear, wow. Seems like a real expansion. Its apparently getting named Dragonborn. I like that its an actual landmass expansion, and it makes sense, Solsthiem is quite close to Skyrim. It could be added to the map outright, although I assume theyll make it an island you 'travel to' and back like Point Lookout.

Dawnguard isn't even out for the PS3 so I don't really know why he mentioned PS3 exclusivity for the new DLC. Hence my post. So... :pirate: & and stuff.

I first read it on Beth's boards in the latest DLC thread at the time and people seemed pretty sure of this because some of the gaming press picked it and presented it as an almost done deal. So consider my prior post amended to "maybe PS3 exclusive". I guess until Bethesda confirms it, we wont really know.

As others have said, they have yet to release any DLC on PS3 as they are having significant problems getting it to work.
frihyland Posted October 21, 2012 Author Posted October 21, 2012 Actually the rumors are that they are officially dropping ps3 support completely because sony isn't helping the development and they are completely stuck. Again just rumors though.
