torminater Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Ok, I just downloaded Hearthfire, hopefully it won't break anything.
frihyland Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Yeah, I used the 2 hour half off sale to buy hearthfire and dawnguard, all up to date now :D Also picked up the Deluxe GOTY edition of Oblivion and GOTY Morrowind. I already had the original versions but I never bought the dlcs or goty editions. Now I got it all.
Neovalen Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Got Hearthfire also. Always good to keep up to date.
ath3nos Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Just grabbed it myself. I have heard though that it is incompatible with any breezehome mods and also the unofficial skyrim patch. Haven't tried it yet to see. Sent from my LG-P999 using Tapatalk 2

That seems about right. I was surprised you said it was half off, I thought Dawnguard was 33% off (£9.37) and Hearthfire was full price (£3.49).
frihyland Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Well it was a half off sale, the other two games were 50% off, and if you bought the full skyrim set it was 50% off, individually not so much. Anyway I can use them for testing now, they are a complete mess as far as using them for gaming purposes though :P
Pole Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I have been redoing my STEP setup and like a noob I downloaded Hearthfire without reading up on bugs and issues. A few of the mods I run in STEP and in addition to step are listed as having conflicts or CTD's for the moment. What is the best way of disabling Hearthfire until these problems are fixed?
torminater Posted October 16, 2012 Author Posted October 16, 2012 deactivate hearthfire.esm and go back to a savegame previous to your application of hearthfire to your skyrim install.
Pole Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 That's what I thought. Thanks! Luckily I am starting a fresh playthrough so no progress lost.
