Mystery ENB settings files appearing in Skyrim folder

Question

I have an odd thing going on and I assume it must be due to a mod, however I have a pretty light load order and I cannot imagine which mod might be causing this. Since I use Mod Organizer and I've stuck to the same ENB I don't really look in the Skyrim folder much so I didn't notice when they were created exactly, though If the date modified is a reliable indicator then it was about four days ago. I've been testing all manner of mods so I can't really say what I may have added then.

So I have 4 mystery files, all of which have a type simply of "file". I can open them with notepad.

The first is called "0Tmw" and contains:

[bLOOM]
BlueShiftAmountInteriorNight=1.0
[VEGETATION]
SubSurfaceScatteringPowerSunset=1.0
[sKY]
GradientTopCurveSunrise=1.0
[WINDOWLIGHT]
IntensityInteriorDay=1.0

The second is "0TÅ w" and contains:
[MIST]
VerticalOffsetInteriorNight=-10.0
[EYES]
SubSurfaceScatteringMultiplierInteriorDay=1.0

The third is called "d" and contains:
[VOLUMETRICRAYS]
DensityInteriorDay=1.0
[iMAGEBASEDLIGHTING]
MultiplicativeAmountSunrise=0.0

And the fourth is "ßèlw" and contains:
[EYES]
SpecularPowerMultiplierSunrise=1.0

Here's my load order:

Requiem and all its patches along with DSR and CWO were just added yesterday so I can rule them out at least. I haven't noticed any dramatic changes to the lighting or atmosphere of the ENB but it may be hard to notice without a direct comparison. I suppose it's not breaking anything to have them in there but I don't like having things in my Skyrim folder whose origins are unknown! I'm using Somber 3 ENB. I haven't touched any of those settings in the GUI.

Do you use any 3rd party tools to manage or edit ENB settings?

They look like temp snippets that aren't deleted after editing.

I was actually afraid to delete them in case they were something important. I just deleted them though, logged in, walked around for a few minutes and logged out, the files did not reappear. I don't use any third party tools to manage the ENB and I'm still scratching my head as to how they got there in the first place...I really don't even touch that folder.

Well if they do not reappear after you delete them, I would think it safe to assume that it might just be some sort of temp files that have not been properly deleted.

Some of them reappeared, then disappeared, then reappeared again. They seem to have a mind of their own. Clearly it's a mod that is doing it but I can't recall a single one that mentioned anything about this happening. Since the files refer to enb settings i'm wondering if it has anything to do with ELE. I really just don't know, although it doesn't seem to be doing any harm and I haven't noticed any totally out of place lighting. So, I just don't know what to make of it.

If I remember correctly, ENB creates some files if they aren't present even if they aren't being used. These files would be okay to leave there.

I had that in a previous install and although not 100% sure I think it was Vividian related as a new version install fixed it.

      What the title says, pic pretty much shows it all. Using Silent Horizons ENB.

      So I'm having this issue where ENB seams to break the "seamless" horizon provided by cathedral weathers. Doesn't seem to matter what ENB I use, no conflicts in Xedit however I have read on a few forums (STEP) that this issue seems to be present no matter what and the more detailed rendering offered by ENB can make this issue more noticeable. Also this definitely seems more prominent during dawn/dusk nor really visible during other times. I'm not sure if it's really a mod issue, or if it's just another one of those fugly bethesda seams that we all inevitably see. ENB doesn't seem to matter I always notice this on clear dawn/dusks. Any input or advice would be appreciated. (Issue is easier to see in game than in screenshots) Here's  a link to a post I made on LL with screenshots. https://www.loverslab.com/topic/182711-skyrim-se-enbs-and-sky-mesh-issue/#comment-3631259

      ENBoost by Boris Vorontsov
      Wiki Link

      STEP does not recommend downloading the Skyrim Nexus version of ENBoost due to incorrect settings for STEP.
      Grab the latest binary from ENB Dev: https://enbdev.com/download_mod_tesskyrim.html

      Boris's VRAMSizeTest Tool for ENBoost: https://enbdev.com/download_vramsizetest.html
      For Skyrim run the DX9 version. For Windows 7, subtract 170 from the value the tool gives. For Windows 8/10, subtract 305 from the value the tool gives. Set VideoMemorySizeMb in the "Enblocal.ini" file to the resulting value.
      CTD and Performance patch ENBoost by Boris Vorontsov

      Looks like Boris has pretty much figured out his memory fix and released it on the nexus. I believe you still need ENB and then the file on the nexus is an extra INI that is dependent on your videocard.
