This is by the same guy who made the realistic aspect trees mod. It adds a gloomy and alternative look to the trees and flora of Skyrim.

 

It claims to be compatible with SFO if you install and load it after, but I have not tested it yet.

Skyrim is depressing enough as it is.

I've had a closer look at the screenshots, and whilst I do like the style, I don't know whether the texture work would fit in with a STEP blend.

I doubt this would make it into STEP. I was just showing it here in case anyone wanted to use it with a custom STEP install.
