JudgmentJay Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Ever since I noticed the lighting glitch that the Whiterun braziers have, Whiterun Lighting Fix is a 100% necessary mod for me. Might be worth noting that BOSS puts it near the top of the list, but in order for it to work it has to be loaded after RCRN, and probably any other lighting mod that modifies light sources. A similar one worth looking at is Volrath Dragonreach Brazier Fix. This one makes it so that the braziers inside Dragonsreach actually give off light. It annoyed me that it was so dark in the entry way and this mod fixes that nicely. As for Wheat Height Fix, I tried it out, but for some reason the wheat was still clipping after harvesting so I uninstalled. The clipping was really the only reason I wanted it.
TheCompiler Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Wheat height mod doesn't work for me, as JudgementJay said, the clipping is still there. Egg fix is not necessary after the newer official patches. Whiterun lighting is incompatible with lighing mods, and expecially More Dynamic Lights which is part of Project ENB mod, and already adds dynamic lights in all whiterun.

phosphor Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 I'm glad to hear that CoT is going to be in the recommended mods since because of it I have often just sat outside (in the real world) just staring at clouds in amazement. When something created for a game makes you realize the actual splendor around you... it's a good creation. :)
Neovalen Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Hoping CoT will be updated for Dawnguard soonish as I'm using the DLC for my "real" playthrough. As a note for future STEP, CoT causes minor issues with Dawnguard. "This mod breaks Blood Sun (Dawnguard) weather. It's supposed to hold the whole daytime, but this mod circles around weathers, so the effect of sun blocking stays, but the visuals dont. Ive got sun shining away, but people still going "Ohh, where did the sun go?" Quite funny, actually." In any case, getting back on point for this set of mods recommended I agree with all the above posters.
