Willow & Flashlight won't work together

If I activate both the Willow and Flashlight NVSE mods, New Vegas won't even start.  I found an old post by EssArrBee noticing that problem, and I saw that now both are included in the STEP guide, so I assume there is a solution.  Do we know what caused it, and how to work around it? (setup info in signature)

 

After trying out Willow it is clear I'll give it preference over the flashlights, and it's not a big problem, but I'd be glad not to have that kind of weird behavior and to understand it / be able to prevent it from happening in the future.

i have no problem, but i use the willow(cazy).esp with the flashlight -you'll need the cazy hair without the esp-, perhaps you could try this ?

You need to extract a BSA. Don't extract either flashlight nvse or Willow. Just pick another mod and extract the BSA.
