torminater Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Automation Tools is a package of scripts for use with TES5Edit. These scripts allow you toperform batch modifications, generate records, or create useful reports. Automation Tools is amust have for modders old and new, as the scripts included can save truly massive amounts oftime. With Automation Tools, edits that would once take hundreds of hours can be completed inmere minutes.https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49373/? What do you guys think? Revolution or Evolution?
egocarib Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Mator just added an awesome Perk Tree editor that can be used through TES5Edit. Take a look at the mod site for some nice pics - Definitely worth checking out. With no knowledge or experience necessary you can simply point and click and re-design all of your perk trees in a few seconds if you want. Far more precise and easy to work with than the Creation Kit perk tree UI. I made my smithing tree look like a cactus wearing a sombrero in less than thirty seconds. :D
statmonster Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Hmmm.... Looks interesting. Can you use it to modify ESPs in mods that themselves modify the perk tree? What about the werewolf and vampire perk trees?
egocarib Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 Yes & Yes Just navigate to the "Actor Value Information" section of whatever you've got loaded in TESEdit, right click on the appropriate skill (or Werewolf/VampirePerks entry) and "Apply Script".
statmonster Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 I think I may have to have my own customized perk tree next time I play!
kryptopyr Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 This looks wonderful. I've come to absolutely loath messing with perk trees. It's very difficult to try to get the desired shape through the CK and takes forever to tweak and test and tweak it again. Reading through the description of these tools and really looking forward to trying them out.
