Pack interface has been significantly updated in terms of the buggy popup and the aesthetic presentation. Much more to do, but it should be significantly easier to get the job done now.

Quick ping to Pack Users.

What are your main improvement requests now that we have added some features? We are still a long way off, but before we begin making any changes, it would be good to get any user feedback that has not yet been captured. I'll update the OP with a link to a changelog when I have some time.

I have another pack in the works, so assuming the things that were problems before are now fixed I can give feedback on the current format as I build the new pack. It does look a good deal better now than it did.

@menmaatra & mothergoose: This isn't the right thread (at all) for that...

@EssArrBee, what do you mean exactly? What pack info?

::EDIT by RootsRat::

I split the non-relevant posts to a new thread and moved it to Support forums.

I'd like to get authoring permissions to start working on 2 packs, one for city overhauls, and another for quest mods. Pretty please?

The topic simply says to come forward, so I'm not sure who I should contact for this.

Can't you just use a thread or a text document? When it's ironed out make a wiki out of it.

A general question about good practice in packs. Regarding a Requiem pack you have to uninstall certain incompatible or redundant mods from core (or other packs if you want to make it compatible). What do you think would be the best practice of providing that information?

Lead with that and do instructions for their removal before the pack itself.

Assume MO users (and recommend MO in your Pack just as STEP does. Then it is a simple matter of unticking the mod in question ;)

One more reason why we recommend MO now :yes:
