I assume it made coding the NPC AI easier or maybe they just wanted the player to never run out of arrows, there are a bunch of mods that will fix this if you wish.

The arrow thing is very strange, doesn't happen to me (but i'm playing with an updated version of STEP, which will be the next update).

Arrow pickup fix cannot be the problem, since it's just a mesh.

well for testing sakes:

I started a new game and got bow and arrows from my guide in helgen keep. since then I cannot have less than 8 iron arrows, unless I drop them...

It may have been fixed by a patch or the USKP and torminator is experiencing something new, but clearly it doesn't seem to be step related if noone else has it.

I´ve installed all optionals mod and was having 2 bugs: birna at winterhold wouldn´t give me the coral dragon claw and couln´t learn the word "leech" of marked for death shout at the forsaken cave and the word freeze from Frost breath sout at Skyborn Altar. Uninstaling every mod with WB found that Hypothermia https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=6745 was responsable for the bugs. Sorry for my english not a native speaker. :)

OK, I have kept installing and uninstalling several lighting modifications and making them work on the same save.

These were:

-> RCRN 2.1

-> RCRN 3.0(.1)

-> RLwC 3.4a (several different configs)

-> ENB 0.112 plus various configs

-> Ultra Realistic World Lighting

Now as I deinstalled all of those and installed the 1.6 beta I saw a very very very thin black line in the middle of the air all the way around (360°) every firepit. This seems to be some sort of lighting area which is marked by this line. I am not very sure, whether this is caused by savegame corruption or the new beta patch, but I just wanted to tell you, since 1.6 (fixed navmesh) is going to be a necessity for every modded Skyrim.

What could also be, is that maybe since I use Vano's HR Textures, that some newly implemented fix produces this seem on Vano's altered textures. I don't really know though...

@Vond

It seems TheCompiler did not believe you the first time around. Odd.

Details:

The armor folder of Worn Detailed Guard Shields and Banners v0.5 is overwritten by Hvergelmirs Shield Retexture v1

The cluuter folder overwritten by Tattered Banners WIP v0.1

@Neovalen

How about you confirm it yourself? The conflicting mods are small. Checking and comparing the original mod's archives doesn't take 5 minutes at all.

language problem I think, that's what he just did :P
