Hello, I've generated and used DynDOLOD close to 10 times successfully in the past until recently updating the utility (to v3.0) and attempting to get some nice grass billboards. I've encountered a few pop-ups relating to form id issues etc and resolved them all so far. This error doesn't give me much to work on though.

DynDOLOD stopped 4 minutes after starting with the message "Duplicates not allowed." I'm running Resources Alpha 2 and Executables Alpha 3. I generated No Grass In Objects v6 grass cache and ran TexGen successfully.

Thank you for the update. However, I got some errors when i run DynDOLOD.

It's about a mod, "Birthplace of a Kitsune" (in Nexus).

When i run DynDOLOD alpha 3 first, it occurred a error and the problem at that time was about

"Some FormID could not be resolved". So i opened SSEEdit, deleted that FormID.

But next problem is this,

[Window Title]

DynDOLOD

[Main Instruction]

Can not copy birthplacekitsune1a "Birthplace of a Kitsune Home" [WRLD:AB15C5B7] from Birthplace of a Kitsune.esp into DynDOLOD.esp.

("Birthplace of a Kitsune Shrine" [WRLD:AB078746] too)

[Content]

Load order FileID [AB] can not be mapped to file FileID for file "DynDOLOD.esp"

I opened SSEEdit and searched for errors again, but no errors found and no junks found like ITM.

Also I re-downloaded that mod and re-run DynDOLOD, same happened.

Here's my log. (Debug included, bugreport is not created)

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jswu9zK2TzAKw8Vu22jNqRkJrdEhUrdd/view?usp=sharing

no problems with version 2.87.

Hey, I've been trying to generate LOD and getting this error :

File at 2B is BlakthornManor.esp which is from Blackthorn - A Buildable Town In The Rift.

Let me know if you'll need any additional info.

Test if problems still happens with Alpha-4. In some case there might be a better error message detailing the cause.

Upload new debug log, log and bugreport if it exists.

Updated to Alpha 4 and have a more descriptive error message: Duplicate Cell at 8,-27 in Skyrim.esm [CELL:000098FF] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 8,-27) and BSHeartland.esm [CELL:0C0D6F0D] (in Tamriel "Skyrim" [WRLD:0000003C] at 8,-27).

Got texgen sorted, all tree mods and grass mods reported successful billboard generation. There were a few missing textures and nifs reported initially, but i just copied missing files etc and cleared all error messages.

Fiddling with DynDOLOD Alpha 4, i get this message

Access violation at address 000000000112D8FF in module 'DynDOLODx64.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000000
Computer says "Access violation at address 000000000112D8FF in module 'DynDOLODx64.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000000."

Hello, the new alpha version did indeed provide a much better error message and I managed to get past it by quite a lot. However, at about 30 mins in I got another 'duplicates not allowed' inside the actual DynDOLOD window, and no error pop up like the previous attempts. The lodgen is still progressing, not sure if it's borked atm, but I'll let it run until I get an answer.

Edit: I gave it about 20 - 30 mins, and it didn't progress past the error message.

Are you installing MO2 or DynDOLOD on the Windows drive. I also suffered from MO2 installation at the drive containing Windows. You try to check it again

@Sheson

Do you know why my trees, when seen from afar, are very fragile and their foliage almost invisible.

https://i.postimg.cc/kG9G4Ztd/Screen-Shot85.png

In DynDOLOD_SSE.ini I did not change any settings except set Grass = 1 and GrassLargeReference = 1.

I also posted pictures of v2.87 and v3.0 Alpha 4 for comparison. Thank you

is this 3D tree LOD and if so which tree mod? You know if any of the used LOD assets change?

The atlas mipmap generation should still produce the same "alpha coverage" method.

You can try texconv mipmap generation by setting ObjectLODGenerateMipMaps=1 and/or TreeLODGenerateMipMaps=1 and also play with its AlphaCoverage=0.85 value. Higher should mean denser.

However, the texconv mipmap is applied to the entire atlas texture once it has been created, so it is inferior to the internal mipmap that is applied to each single texture separately. I will see if I can add an INI setting for its coverage multiplier for it as well.

Also test if the LOD trees now matches better to the full models. Maybe they were too dense before.
