Help precache grass for Northern Roads

Recommended Posts

I followed the steps here https://stepmodifications.org/wiki/SkyrimSE:Grass_LOD_Guide, i followed the steps here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5n5mGM0wzsI, ive scoured old posts and comments for answers but i cant find a solution. When i start the precache through MO2, it loads the game like its supposed to, but nothing happens after that. No pop up window, no progress shown in console. So I opt to try using a pre-cache off of nexus, and implement it as if im an AE user (im not). I update my Dyndolod output mod with the newly generated Lod for grass, and i end up with far too little grass in-game, lots of vast barren land with a few patches of grass. I like to get out of the habit of asking for help too much, but I feel ive committed enough time to this with no solution. Please Help.

Follow only the Grass LOD Guide. Ignore the other guide, because it may conflict and screw you up. This is an advanced-modding procedure, so helping is not simple without very detailed information on the problem you are having.

You must have a working Python install (I think it uses 2.72, but not sure). Regardless, MO installs the core Python it needs, so I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling MO. You can reference our System Setup Guide for help with that and your general modding environment config.
