TadasTheLithuanian Posted November 24, 2022 Posted November 24, 2022 Discussion topic: Raven Rock - Fix Exit on Horseback by AndrealphusVIII Wiki Link I tried this fix and it works like a charm. Without this fix almost impossible to go through the entrance with a horse.
z929669 Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Single usecase mod? Still worth a look. Tagged for testing. Since you have basically confirmed it works as expected, let us know if you encounter anything unexpected. I will look more closely at what it's doing once installed.
z929669 Posted December 3, 2022 Posted December 3, 2022 I checked this one out in xEdit and have no issues with this one. We have confirmation it works as intended. Since it's very specific and simple, ESL, and forwards relevant USSEP changes, I think we should accept it.
ButchDiavolo Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 In my 11 years of playing Skyrim, I have yet to go to Solstheim... So I will defer my opinion of it being accepted to people who HAVE actually been there. 1
z929669 Posted December 5, 2022 Posted December 5, 2022 I'm tagging this as accepted, so please post if issues.

I've never completed Dawnguard or Dragonborn storylines. Anywho, I hate it when authors don't tell you what they did. xEdit reveals this "tweak" is moving a lot of references. Frankly it looks way overdone for what should have been a few height tweaks and maybe some rocks for blending. It looks like nearly everything in the vicinity was touched, but luckily no landscape changes. As a result of overreaching, though, there is one conflict with RS and a couple with Butterflies Land True. I'm kind of surprised because who the author is, but to each their own. Less is more in my book because there's less compatibility issues. Regardless, I don't see any reason not to accept it. Just some patching to handle.

I hadn't examined the plugin so much with respect to conflicts with other mods but rather to see what it was doing. To me, it looks as if the work was done in the CK, which is likely why so many 'benign' records were touched.
TadasTheLithuanian Posted July 22, 2024 Author Posted July 22, 2024 USSEP fixed this problem: Quote Fixed the south gate mesh in Raven Rock so that you can now ride out on horseback properly. [meshes\dlc02\architecture\ravenrock\dlc2rrtunnel01.nif] (Bug #33971) 1

I had wondered the same and concluded that this issue was not fixed by USSEP in this latest update. I stand corrected. Thanks for finding it! I think we can drop this mod for 2.3.
