Farlo Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Discussion thread: Silent Skyrim by AlturDrake Wiki Link A few people suggested this mod instead of No Sneak Attack Sound on it's thread, so I thought I'd make a separate thread for this one. I really like the idea, but IMO this one requires a Wizard; there are a ton of options and everyone has their own tastes. It's also a lot easier to install something that's configured how you want than to install everything and remove what you don't want.
Kelmych Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 I created a BCF for this to move the sound files into folders for each of the sound categories on the mod description page. Now all you have to do is to check which categories of sounds you want to eliminate.
justjr Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 What are exactly the sounds that you guys are wanting to use? I like most sounds. :) Thinking in only use the sneak one.
Neovalen Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Yeah I think I only want the sneak sound removal also...
Kelmych Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 To me some of the other sounds that the mod can eliminate are also ones that reduce immersion. In particular the level up noise, nordic screaming, and quest objective noises are ones I would prefer to be silent.
Kelmych Posted April 6, 2013 Posted April 6, 2013 A new update of the Wrye Bash installation version of this mod (1.01) was posted on April 4. This update places the sounds in the correct folders; the previous file placed them in the wrong folder.
