WilliamImm
Discussion thread:Disease Descriptions for the Immersive Adventurer by William ImmWiki Link Yes, advertising one of my own mods here, but I have made this as a update to the earlier Disease Descriptions. It has descriptions for all the diseases in the vanilla game (and DLCs), with both a fluff and mechanics part to them. What is needed from Mod Testers:Check for any conflicts with a baseline STEP installation via TES5Edit. minor issue exists at this time with USP, but not a problem. Make sure the descriptions show up properly in game. Check for any unreadibly small text. This is a bit of an issue, but not a deal breaker Accepted for STEP v2.2.5--thanks to WiliamImm for creating this and supporting the user comments--thanks torminater, Eliian et al. for evaluating

rootsrat
Hmm... Will this be compatible with Realistic Needs and Diseases?
WilliamImm
Hmm... Will this be compatible with Realistic Needs and Diseases?Actually, no. I didn't really think of that.  Since that mods really modifies diseases, it would probably force me to make an alternative version that's built around RND. rootsrat
Is there any chance that you could look into making a patch for RN&D? I love to use some Needs mod in my RP playthroughs - was using Imp's till now, but I'd like to try something else and went for RN&D this time. WilliamImm
Well, I said I was going to make a different version for said mod. Don't think it would be that good to make a patch, because it completly changes the vanilla diseases, and I'd have to factor in disease stages - It's going to take me some time, but it will be done. WilliamImm
Took me a few hours, but the Realistic Needs and Diseases version is ready, in a nice BAIN-friendly installer.

rootsrat
In fact, is there anywhere specific they need to be in load order - i.e. after or before Realistic Needs and Diseases? Sorry for double post...
WilliamImm
Generally, this mod should be loaded pretty late, probably after most quest mods, but before weather/landcape mods. I sorted Disease Descriptions and the DLC plugins in the Overrides D section of BOSS, and I would sort the Realistic Needs and Diseases version, well, pretty much around where Releastic Needs and Diseases is. I might end up contacting the author pf Realistic Needs and Diseases to see if he can integrate my work into his mod, so that you arleady get better descriptions with just his mod. rootsrat
Nice. A side note - I think that Skyrim modding community is one of the friendliest and confilct free communities I'm involved in on internet. How can anyone say that games cause harm?! z929669
@WI There are a lot of options out there for this mod, and likely sufficient description as well. For the sake of efficiency, could you post the answers on this thread? Why is the MF not NMM compatible? Is there something that MF version has that the OF do not? WilliamImm
Why is the MF not NMM compatible? Because it does not install correctly if you use NMM to install it. That archive was made for being installed manually, or via Bash. Wasn't really inclined to make a NMM installer for such a simple mod. Is there something that MF version has that the OF do not? Both contain the same files. I did the same thing for Enhanced Projectile Soul Trap, if you remember. Eliian
I've been using this and have had no issues (w RN & D). Really like it compared to the rather sad vanilla descriptions =)
