I have yet to find any other world space that uses placed water like this. Just for some more testing and verifying.

 

The different LOD water types based on height in WastelandNV were already correct with last update. The reflections of the LOD water match the loaded cell water in both cases.

I have yet to find any either, but Frontier might do them and also and you'd have to check with mac about that. I don't know if Molten Clouds intends to do something like that with The Way of the Chosen, again would have to ask F@Nt0M about that.

 

Cool about NV, I will generate LOD and see how it looks. :)

With latest beta of SSELODGEN installed, I am getting an issue where there is a weird moving shape visible from distance near the Sea of Ghosts. 

 

This was already reported earlier in the DYNDOLOD thread by another user. 

 

Do you know the cause of this bug? Any fixes?

I am that user.  Never found the cause.  For now, it is simply a bug I live with......

I have to say I have no clue how even those could mess up terrain data so that LODGEN puts out this weird shape. Other mods we both have in our load order don’t touch exteriors at all.

See what happens if you add the recommended optionals  TES5-Terrain-Tamriel.esm or SSE-Terrain-Tamriel.esm for generating terrain LOD. You do not need the plugin when running the game.

I installed SSE-Terrain-Tamriel.esm.  Reran xLODgen. Uninstalled SSE-Terrain-Tamriel.esm.  And the problem seems fixed.  But for now I went to the same spot near Dawnstar where I was having trouble and all is well.  Thanks, Sheson!  (I  am afraid I am out of first borns, though.....)

Fixed it for me too. In that case, you should make the .esm a requirement

Thanks for testing and letting me know it fixes that bug. That will help to update xLODGen to have correct water levels without the plugin in the load order.

After generating the LODGen I noticed the college of winterhold doesn't show up ingame lod unless I'm on its cell... I found out that the Terrain objects meshes generated don't include the college object on it... Check on these files:

After generating the LODGen I noticed the college of winterhold doesn't show up ingame lod unless I'm on its cell... I found out that the Terrain objects meshes generated don't include the college object on it... Check on these files:
