ZidanReign Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 I recall that it was mentioned that specific settings were needed and what the guide provides wouldn't be applicable. Or that it would be better to not install NVSR. Little help would be appreciated.
0 GrantSP Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 Windows 10 completely broke some of the core functionality of NVSR. You must set the ini to these settings: bHookCriticalSections=0 bHookLightCriticalSections=0 I've added a section in the guide to make mention of this fact.
0 GopherEverett Posted May 6, 2018 Posted May 6, 2018 I'm not familiar with the specifics, but I did see a thread regarding NVSR settings for Windows 10 on the FNV subreddit the other day. https://www.reddit.com/r/fnv/comments/8g6sa2/nvsr_new_vegas_stutter_remover_works_flawlessly/
0 Majorman Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I tested it out this morning and the game crashed after just 5 minutes. It seems that even with the listed settings, NVSR does not work with Win 10 Fall's Update.
