Question

Posted

Skyrim SE, Bruma.

I notice there were issues with Bruma static LOD ('Oldrim' Bruma forum), and you recommended generating tree LOD only for the region.

How do I omit the Bruma static LOD using the DynDOLOD interface, please?

Or do I need to do that at Mod level?

I unpacked the Bruma SE BSA to access tree LOD.

Thanks!

I'm not sure what's going on here. My LODs are all weird for BS Bruma, and the world map is very bizarre too. I'm not sure what to do. Do i need to unpack the BSA for BS Bruma and look at the tree billboards? Are they broken? I'm not sure

This is explained since half a decade ago when the mod came out. Because of the missing plugin data and assets DynDOLOD does not generate LOD for the worldspace by default.  https://dyndolod.info/Mods/Beyond-Skyrim-Bruma

Thanks but no luck, checked that thread the comment is linked to up and down before posting. Also googled every simple combination of my problem and couldn't find anything other than someone on reddit who was editing the wrong worldspace ignore file

Even after editing the worldspace ignore text file, dyndolod will not show BSHeartlands in the worldspace selection. Any ideas?

load order

See https://dyndolod.info/Official-DynDOLOD-Support-Forum#Post-Logs which DynDOLOD log and debug log to upload when making posts.

See https://dyndolod.info/Mods/Beyond-Skyrim-Bruma
By default the BSHeartland worldspace is ignored. To enable the worldspace, edit ..\DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\Configs\DynDOLOD_[GAME MODE]_worldspace_ignore.txt and remove/change the line "BSHeartland (Tamriel) - bsheartland.esm". Just adding an X in front would be enough for it to show in the world selection drop down again.

Make sure to edit the correct file for the desired game mode. https://dyndolod.info/Help/Game-Mode

Thank you Sheson, I’ve tried both world space ignore files, SSE and TES5, with no luck. I’ll get my logs posted when I get the chance. Merry Christmas/happy holidays!

There is no DynDOLOD debug log uploaded to that google drive.

Sorry, here's every file I have that I think is relevant according to the forum post about logs that you linked. There is a separate folder called old files which are the original files I uploaded yesterday. The reason there are 4 additional files in the main folder is because I ran lodGen, ACMOS Roadgen, texGen, and dyndolod all again last night and these 4 files should be the logs from those runs. Still did not get the option for BSHeartlands on Dyndolod though.

DynDOLOD can not show anything from plugins that are not loaded.
The log shows that only the default vanilla plugins and BSA for Skyrim Special Edition are loaded.

The log indicates the -p command line might not point to the actual plugins.txt file.
Loading active plugin list: C:\Users\Reidh\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition GOG\\

As shown in the example at https://dyndolod.info/Mods/Skyrim-Special-Edition-GOG-Skyrim-Anniversary-Edition-GOG, the -p command line should include a filename.
-p:"c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\Skyrim Special Edition GOG\plugins.txt"
