Only one problem: At Vividian - Weather - Lighting Enhancement, installed correctly but I can't merge the esps because TES5EDIT won't finish loading the files. This is because Vividian Wearable Lanterns.esp is missing it's master (Chesko's wearable lanterns), which is not supposed to be loaded until much later. Have I done something wrong? Link to comment

The normal map is in the normal maps mod and the texture (non msn) is only in the body and face texture mod. Have I done something wrong?No, actually you haven't. I would continue the guide without doing the merge and once you've installed Wearable Lanterns go back and do the merge. If you haven't installed Wearable Lanterns yet you don't want to activate that ESP if you want to load up the game before doing so. I have added a note to the guide. Link to comment

Since it's in a development state, I don't want to waste an ungodly amount of time checking everything, every day, for changes -- since the Last Update does change almost daily. I'm just looking for a simple log so that I can go back over the steps I've already completed and update them as I go. Thanks! Link to comment

I was doing this quest: https://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Telrav's_Request and ran into an issue where even though I had killed Telrav, my journal entry still wants me to kill him. Basically, I'm stuck with this quest now. However, reading that wiki I saw that the bug I'm experiencing SHOULD have been fixed with the unofficial patch. So I'm wondering if another mod (maybe Organized Bandits?) had something to do with it, like maybe they didn't incorporate the changes made by the unofficial patch? The reason I suspect Orgnaized Bandits is because the bandits were clearly from that mod, hopped up on PCP and kicked my ass pretty well. I managed to kill all of them though, including Telrav (that dirty bastard)... but alas, my journal thinks he's still alive and I fear I'm stuck with this particular quest forever. This isn't necessarily the fault of the guide though, just Skyrim being Skyrim... although if there is a TES5Edit that can be made to prevent this I thought I'd pass along my input in case it helps someone in the future. I installed Chesko's mod and was able to merge Vividian esps without problem, but only after I ran BOSS to sort the files so that Chesko came before Vividian. I have another query. SkyFalls and SkyMills - Animated Distant Waterfalls and WindMillsBOSS Masterlist Update Required: (Updating Guide)SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp AFTER SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB + FS + WT.esp According to BUM when I follow these instructions it says the rule is Invalid and the item is marked in red, because 'Sort object (SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB + FS + WT.esp) is defined in the userlist but this rule needs to be moved after it.' Is this ok, or have I done something funny? Link to comment
Astakos Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 Hi jacktannery, In BUM's left pane just re-order the "SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp" to be below "SkyFalls + SkyMills + DG + DB + FS + WT.esp".Re-run the rule for "SkyFalls DB + FS Small Waterfalls.esp" and you should be ok. DanielCoffey Posted June 23, 2014 Share Posted June 23, 2014 Re the Telrav quest issue - the last time I had that problem was without SR:LE or OBIS. I had attacked Telrav before letting him path to the end of the track. The message to "Kill Telrav" did not have time to pop up as I shot him just before he became aggro. That, of course, meant his buddies engaged and all hell broke loose but the quest stayed active forever. Link to comment

Is this done on purpose or should it be updated in the guide? Similarly, iHUD has changed to version 3.0 beta 2, while the guide is still at version 2.4.
