Vignar Gray-Mane seems to have the appearance of a Redguard. It's true that there's been a few dark-skinned Nords in TES, but it seems very inconsistent in the case of Vignar because his family members (Thorald, Avulstein, etc.) all have pale skin. And his skin is too dark for it to be a mere tan.

 

On my first playthrough I wasn't familiar with Vignar, and was puzzled when the Stormcloaks (spoiler):

 

appeared to place a Redguard on the throne of Whiterun.

 

 

Because of this, I suggest that Consistent Vignar Gray-Mane might be a good addition to S.T.E.P. It's a lore friendly minimalist mod with no known compatibility issues.
