  1. I am on it now and it is fine I just wont refresh the page lol
  2. hahaha glad to see I am not the only one. What about the BSA extractor in MO? The one we usually turn on as a rule of thumb for those who like loose files. Under settings and plugin tab, set to true.
  3. Hey should we turn on the BSA extractor for MO for this guide? I am used to having it on as I prefer to load loose files. You mention to do it for Merge plugins for those who use Wrye Bash but for MO users I believe the Gamerpoets tutorial is expecting us to turn on the extractor. Lol I gave up on Wrye Bash for a while as I am too used to MO.
  4. Awesome thank you Diana!!!
  5. Also I just have to say, it was genius of you to include links to GamerPoet's and Gopher's videos concerning certain section. This is a habit I think all guide authors should replicate in the future.
  6. For your TES4LL step you list tes4qlod_Oblivion_ltex.dat twice. I noticed there is a tes4qlod_tex folder in the archive. Did you mean to move that to the data folder?
  7. Hey Diana, can you please clarify in the merge plugins step whether we extract the entire archive to the TES4Edit folder in the oblivion directory or just the files you mention on the next line.
  8. Oh no I would never pretend to be at Diana's level as she has the know-how to create this guide and help with other ones. I am still a novice but have just picked up certain habits over the years when following other STEP guides. As far as I know she has a reason for asking us to do it that way. Also I am a complete noob when it comes to wrye bash so I have been reading the guides and watching a few of Gopher's videos. I have always known though that technically Wrye Bash is a far better modding utility than all the others. NMM is like the Iphone of mod managers, easy interface and plug and go. Mod Organizer (my favorite for years, blessed be to Tannin) is like the android OS in that it has more functionality and has a much nicer interface. Wrye Bash is like learning a new compiler language lol....But most of the advanced modders use it for a reason. Hell my conflict resolution patching abilities are....ok I guess...but I have a lot to learn
  9. Here is another question. In your construction set step you indicate for us to manually move the sound folder and the readme in the Lip Template folder (not the esp)into the main oblivion directory. However the readme states for us to move those contents into the oblivion data folder. Which one is it? I apologize if I seem like I am picking at it but I figure you may appreciate any feedback (for clarification purposes).
  10. for these tools I install everything manually I don't repackage. Mods are the only items I use a mod manager for. To be brutally honest, as someone who has been modding for years and am used to just extracting and moving files, I couldn't follow the step for the OBSE where we use the working folder you had us create. I just downloaded the zip, extracted it with 7zip, copied your indicated doc files into the docs folder into the doc folder in the oblivion data folder and then the rest of the files directly into the the oblivion main directory. This is how I always have done things. I partition my hard drives so that each bethesda game has it's own "drive" and store all downloaded mods in another hard drive to be remotely installed via mod manager. This keeps my directories in pristine condition. I have never used the download with manager button on the nexus I always manually install with MO or NMM.
  11. ok thank you Diana. One more question. In the OBSE step, are we also supposed to copy the data folder that contains the obse.ini file over to the main oblivion directory along with the other 4 files? I only as because it says to do so in the readme that comes in the obse archive
  12. Hey I have been a MO user for years and am quite proficient with it. But am deciding to learn wrye bash this time around. is there a reason why my Vanilla + DLC Meshes & Textures archive I created is a light red box after being installed? According to the wrye bash readme it means that "Some or all of the files in the package are not installed as configured." The archive contains distantlod, meshes, sound, textures and trees folders as per the bsa loose files instructions. below is the wrye bash installer tab image as well as a snip of the archive folder structure.
  13. lol I figured as much these guides always have a significant conflict res patch due to so many mods. You are a goddess by the way for making this guide.
  14. oooooooooh **** here we go I have been wet and ready for this....is it ready for a good install Diana?
  15. oh ****...sup Lexy. annnnd boom goes the dynamite thank you! Also gonna stalk this WIP lol. bookmarked your guide and look forward to your excellent work!
  16. oh **** snacks, guess I found a new forum topic to stalk on the daily. Bookmarked the **** out of this and razor's guide
  17. lol I sense saltiness haha. I know you poured a lot off your time into trying to make those work with worldspace editing scrap mods. I frankly don't blame you for abandoning those for your own sanity. No need to champion an opinion though when noone asked lol. This is your guide so do as you see fit and I will follow your advice as you know far more than I do about the subject.
  18. lolz so note to self don't use scrap everything or spring cleaning I guess
  19. Oh SHITSNACKS watsup Gernash? the guide finally updated bromigo? lol I see you took out worldspace mods would you say it is in a safe enough state to do a fresh guide install?
  20. This may or may not be off topic but I noticed that Neovalyn had started a STEP guide for DAO back in 2015 and abandoned it. This game is a pain in the ass to mod so I was wondering if anyone knew of any good guides?
  21. sup bro lol! HE'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIVE
  22. I am still closely following this beautiful guide Diana. Keep up the great work!
  23. Yo Gernash are you thinking about finding a protege or a co-pack author to work on this pack? I would volunteer but I am still a novice at best when it comes to patching. This is still the most comprehensive guide there is for fo4, and that won't change soon...it just needs some serious dusting off and updating
  24. lol between you and BiRaitBec? lol the guy is talented but some people like to suck NMM's dick off and refuse to switch to the far superior MO. I cannot count how many arguments I have gotten into over the last 3+ years over how MO is the superior mod manager. Bro I used to get so fired up. I felt betrayed when Tannin left his baby and when over to the dark side. Then I realized that wherever his talents go, a superior product will be produced.
  25. I always partition my hard drives for different games. I have a 300 gb partition for skyrim and modding stuff, a 300 gb partition for fallout 4 and modding stuff...but steam is just a C: install. You just use the steam loader settings to create a steamlibrary in your partitioned spaces so you can take advantage of isolated space I am trying a full install of his guide. just to see watsup. Gernash has most of it in his guide also but homie has been busy with life and a lot of updates have happened. so until he hops back on the horse or finds a co-admin for the guide I am gonna **** around elsewhere
