A question if I may. In the better dynamic snow section, are we supposed to wait till a little bit later when we download no snow under the roof to convert better snow? It says in the idiot check to esmify the no snow esp and then later espify it. I have no problem converting, I just need clarification on whether or not it is the better snow NSUTR patch esp or the actual NSUTR esp. Not to mention the fact that NSUTR is a master for the patch...obviously

So I decided to install the Tamriel Rebuilt section and I got it to Building the LOD Resources section in PonyRider's guide and running the bat files is creating the proper folder in the Oblivion.output data folder but there are no converted NIF's in there. The previous step, building the resources, went off without a hitch but for some reason no LOD files are being generated by the bat files..only the folder structures themselves (i.e. meshes/morro/pc/x) Pony you ever heard of this?

This guide is looking sexy as **** keep up the amazing work Darth and Lexy. As always your contribution is second-to-none. I will be avoiding a runthrough of the guide for now as I have very little time to test due to work and kids and the like. But I will keep an eye for whenever you two post that finish line

The pack is playing excellently Diana! I have had zero ctd's and no issues so far at all. Thank you!
-
Ahh that did the trick thank you!

Can anyone please share the "essential mudcrab" and "sugar Tolerance" mods as the file download link on TESRenewal is not working at all.
-
Okay thank you Pony I will skip that section for now completely, although there is some quest mods in that page that I wonder whether or not they can be installed with the main guide as they don't seem to be FCOM related. such as origins of the mages guild and curse of hircine
-
nothing?
-
or any of the optional quest mods in that section? anyone have any experience with this? At bare minimum I want to know if I install the FCOM section will I run into any significant problems without a CR patch cause that is the one thing I suck at
-
Has anyone tried the FCOM section? How bad is it without a relevent CR Patch? I want it badly. Hey Diana is it compatible with the rest of the main guide? Bar a CR patch
-
good I will just install again and in the BAIN select the music option and merge, just in case anyone in this guide wants to do the same
-
Hey in the [Fixes] Harvest Containers section 1) you should specify that the meshes and textures folders should be copied into the working folder/ data folder 2) when copying the meshes and textures from the standalone vanilla and shivering isles folders into the data folder there are some overwrites. Clarify which ones to let overwrite
-
In the Bain installer one of the options is morrowind music. 00 core 01 better map 01 chargen 01 morrowind music
-
okay thank you Diana. Also, is it ok to install the morrowind music in the bain installer for morroblivion?
-
Where at? I will definitely need it soon as I am almost done with the guide. Won't even bother starting it up without organizing the plugin/mod list

To clarify, we will not be using BOSS to correct load order right? do we still download BOSS or will we manually sort in the MO panes?
-
no it was effective thanks bro
-
lol did one of you move the ENBoost v0.259 patch for TES Oblivion section down in the guide. Cause I ran into it again on my way through
-
Hey Pony for this I didnt do any Bain package or anything. I just opened TES4Edit, cleaned each one, grabbed the cleaned esp out of the MO overwrite folder and dragged it back into the oblivion data folder..Then I double checked to make sure they were clean by running each one through TES4Edit again. The backups are located in the TES4Edit backups folder. This is how I have always cleaned my ESP's is this method okay?

Well what I have been doing is this step Diana put in the guide: 1. Use the Working Folder structure to repackage the mod. 2. In the Docs folder create an OBSE Docs folder and move the readme and info docs into it. 3. Move the remaining .dll and related OBSE Plugin files into the OBSE\Plugins folder. 4. Now that the mod is repackaged properly, archive and install the mod. 5. Right click on the mod, select "Open in explorer". Right click on the OBSE folder and select "Cut". Right click on the Oblivion\Data folder and select "Paste". Note: Although this will leave an empty directory, it shows that the mod has been installed. This will allow the user to input information about the mod and be informed of any updates. That way they are still "installed in MO" (even though the mod only has the docs folder, at least it acts like a record in that it was installed). This way we can use MO in a sense, but we are just manually installing the OBSE plugins directly into the data folder. I tried to use Wrye Bash but I guess after modding for so many years I am just over-comfortable with MO. Wrye Bash is too foreign to me and I don't have the time to get balls deep into it like I used to. This simple 5 step process above is simple and effective and eliminates the one need for using WB. Yeah I realized after I retracted my statement that MO would not use the plugins, then I went back to the top of the guide and found that 5 step process. Hey Diana or Pony, just a quick suggestion but for the extenders section of the guide where you have the working folder step for all of them. For those of us that use MO can you add in another line for each of them to remind MO users to cut and paste the OBSE folder from MO/mods to the oblivion data folder? You do mention it at the top of the guide but I forgot and installed them all without that last step
-
I have to say, using the working folder for the obse plugins makes more sense the more I think about it...that way we can utilize the VFS of MO and keep the oblivion data folder pristine by avoiding manual install...I retract my previous statement.

Are people really having issues accessing the guide still?

Hey Diana I have BethINI set to modify the INI files for the morroblivion profile, which doesn't touch the INI files in my documents folder. So for the tweaks under final premod install section should I make all of those modifications to my MO profile ones in the mod organizer folder? If so then I will just use the ini editor tool in the MO interface and edit them there
