While I know floating lanterns exist... I can't fix them without a proper screenshot showing the refid in the console and the lantern... Easiest to install mfg console and just take a screenshot after you cilck on the item with console open. -

That's already done in the beautification guide. The main guide was kept very simple to avoid having to do much extra work for people that also follow the beautification guide. -

Please remove safety load.. The proper configuration of crash fixes in this guie makes Safety Load totally obsolete. Glad your stuff is working. :) -

Not a clue; you're install is in a very weird state... Evidenced by the fact that you can't properly run the Reqtificator... Try utilizing the patches I linked a few posts back. -

Use the below until Diana is back to update things. It contains wlso + the various patches in case something was outdated. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2227296/WLSO%20%26%20Patches.7z -

All the CR patches are here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2227296/SRLE%20LOTD%20Reqtified%20Compatibility%20Patches.7z I'm not sure what Diana has put up on the page but those are the ones I'm using in my various tests.. I've probably got 20h or so of playtime on the guide with no problems other than some clipping trees and a floating lantern or two. -

Having the CRPatch turned off when you run the Reqtificator means that all the npc/item conflict resolution is lost. It was too much work for what seemed like too little benefit. My personal load orders are still modular but it added alot of weight to the guide and was alot of work to maintain. -

It's mentioned in the guide; just ignore it. It's due to navmesh in a test cell and has no effect on the game. -

I'm sorry that you're experiencing that issue. I've noodled about it for a while and I really just have no idea what it could be. Something definitely went wrong during one of the steps for you but I don't know which bit it was. The only troubleshooting method I have right now is to tell you to start turning things off in chunks until the problem goes away then enable one by one until it comes back... Use the backup button for left and right side in MO before you start that way you can just reload backup to get back to where you were.. It will probably be a long tedious process :( Unrelated... please keep an eye out for floating/clipping/misplaced things.. click on them w/ console open and disable/re-enable to make sure you've clicked the right thing.. then take a screenshot showing the reference id so that we can fix those issues. -

Was removed because somethign else installed already fixes the problem. The core guide, the merge guide, finish line and the beautification guide are fully updated. The rest are expected to still have errors of some sort. -

Sorry all, been really busy this weekend and have had no time to check on things. I've never experienced what you're discussing. I've got a few characters several housr into playthroughs with the current guide and have had no crashes :( I'll noodle over the problem for a while and see if anything comes to mind. -

So... I've seen it all and used every lighting/weather/enb combination around... literally. Humor me and give this a try. CoT + Requiem Realistic Darkness (not actually dependent on Requiem at all) + AOS + True Storms + Expanded Snow System CoT Version + NLA + the Phinix Natural COT+AOS+TS+ESS+NLA patch with the phinix ENB. Spend like 15m and set it up according to the instructions at https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24235/? load up a torch and go to bleakfalls barrow... or whatever other interior you'd like to test with.. Check the darkness level.. turn on he torch and check again... Check the tunnels especially with/without torch... The ENB is very performance friendly and the darkness is perfect.. with torches adjusted in a way that naturally lights the space without blowing anything out.. I also altered one of the Wearable Lanterns presets to 100% match the torch preset from RRD because otherwise the light is very wrong. Check nights oiutside as well... It's truly glorious. The patch from Phinix is required.. not necessarily the ENB... but that ENB really plays well with the light levels produced by RRD. Note that's with ONLY RRD for lighting... no ele/elfx/relighting skyrim... it's worth the loss imo. I also run CLARALUX but that's irrelevant to the above. -
Yeah, should be fine. Just use latest version and latest patches. YASH guide hasn't been updated in a while but you should be fine following it still.

Just merge all of your visual plugins into one "NPC Retextures Merged" w/ any different ones loaded AFTER what's in the guide merge order. Then use Wrye Bash to "Esmify self" the plugin.. put it just above usleep... Then follow finish line isntructions for the script. IIRC the only thing CR Patch relies upon is EEO.. removing WSCO shouldn't cause you any grief... I think. -

For RSChildren I'd start by loading the esp version of it and all of it's patches at the end of NPC Retextures Merged.. then use the finish line script like normal.. and just see what happens. It's possible that it just works. Not particularly PROBABLE.. but definitely possible. I have three MO directories each containing a different loadout. No concern other than hard drive space. -

Was dropped for incompatibility.. every mod with a child has to have a RS Children patch.. it's just annoying. Rustic Children looks good and children are such a tiny part of skyrim that it's jsut not worth it to me. You can add RS Children if you want but you'll need to do you rown patching for it... Again every in game npc is touched so if you just load up RS Children without patching you'll be overwriting the changes the guide has made. You can't just slap in live another life without patching... The cell, npc and quest edits are definitely gonna conflict also you'd needi to pull Skyrim Unbound out of the CR patch as there are quest and dialogue changes that have been resolved there. All in all it's not simple and not doing it properly could have some unfortuant econsequences. Avoid installing something like Don't call me Dragonborn... again it's going to mess with alot of quests and dialogue.. thigns which are already heavily modified by other mods such as RDO and Skyrim Unbound... among others.. It realy sounds like you're just not interested in the experience we've crafted here, consider looking at Belmont Boy's newly released Ultimate Skyrim https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/82846/? Edit: Note, this isn't me telling you to GTFO.. I just simply throught it was prudent to provide an alternative in case it was closer to what you were really looking for. You're definitely welcome to do whichever suits you best. :D -
