  1. No, you're not irritated. Everyone else is, haha. I just am not home a lot (i work full time and i've been staying by my parent's house a lot due to some medical issues) so I can't always just OPEN TES5EDIT AND LOOK FOR MYSELF, you know? That's why I ask these questions. Because I am super interested but don't have the resources right in front of me. I hope you guys understand that and don't' think I'm just lazy and ignorant, because I'm not.

  3. Yea, I got it. The REGS Pacth has a step patch for bring out your dead. I'm sure SRLE introduces new mods that need patching, hence the conflict resolution section. I just have no idea which SRLE mods are causing conflicts.

  5. For anyone using this mod, the author just added a sticky note at the top of the comments which is very important: Note about SMIM: - Better Towns Textures uses the default SMIM meshes. If you have installed 04 farmhouse 3D ropes, the ropes will not show up in the 4 towns (but work for all other farmhouses). You will not have any issues, just the default SMIM farmhouse. - Also, I have not assigned new meshes for the signs, so you'll have a issue with 06 Chains 3D - Signs. In order to fix it, delete the following folders: meshes/clutter/signage/generic and riverwood.

  7. Some of those conflict resolutions look like they're necessary even on a regular STEP 2.2.8 install, like USKP forwarding and RW2 forwarding. Am I wrong?
  8. I was surprised how taxing 2k would be. All of my other exterior textures are 2k/4k. Interesting. Just for comparison, which resolution is Vurt's grass/shrubs/etc. Also 1k?
  9. Which resolution are you running? 2k tanked my fps. I have an R9 290 4gb GPU so I didn't expect that much of an impact.

  11. I personally think that someone else should come out with the same mod with a different name and just have everyone switch to that. Does that violate the rules? I don't mean steal his code and re-upload it. I just mean someone else can figure out how to do it and recreate a better one. That will hopefully resolve the situation for everyone.

  14. Which part of SMIM is this mod incompatible with? The 3d ropes? Apparently Better Town Texutures is also incompatible with the 3d ropes in case anyond was wondering.

  18. By they, you're talking about the new Interiors, right? Vanilla interiors WILL use the new ELFX source. I just want to make sure I captured that correctly. How noticeable is it without ELFX/ELE in interiors? For the record, I only use the main ELFX Files. I'm wondering how interiors would look without elfx/ele and just ENB.

  20. Sweet. I guess I don't need Better Towns Textures anymore. This pack seems to do much much more than just mixing up textures. No clue how to even get that to work with this or if it can. And you're saying that ALL of the added interiors by ETaC now have ELFX compatibility? WOW! Any plans to make lighting mods compatible with any of the other interiors? Or is that a job for the the ELFX mod author?
  21. I'm not seeing a custom version of ETaC or any patches? Are they now integrated into the patch? Or are you two still updating the wiki page and I'm just being impatient?

  24. A language barrier would definitely be a pain in the a**, especially when using technical lingo that may be relevant to only one language. This mod DOES seem pretty cool. I'm not going to use it until the compatibility issues are fixed though. I've got enough incompatibilities as it is.
