  1. I figured out how to use the arrow keys to turn the pages. So that's something.
  2. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but it's the same issue I had last year. CASM with MCM cannot save. It says it is, but no new saves are being made/overwritten. I'm on a brand new install of Windows 10, fresh install of Steam, etc. I thought perhaps it might be that i was using the "Local Savegame" option for my F&LNV profile, so I turned it off and moved my saves back to the standard folder. Still doesn't work. Normal CASM still does, though, so if there's still no solution for this, looks like I'll be reverting back again. Any ideas?
  3. Ripped out my game, reinstalled it meticulously, generated tags for every mod, got it working. Got through Vault 101 and out the door without any problems. Only to discover that whenever I try to open a container out in the world, the game freezes up and eventually crashes. I can access companion inventory with no problem. I could access containers in Vault 101 without issue or even the slightest hint of lag. I've tried three different container objects in Springvale, same result with all three.
  4. EDIT: Fixed by manually adding the INI edits for DarnUI. For some reason, UIO wasn't doing it's job there. And ANOTHER new problem. Now, I can't turn past the Strength page of the SPECIAL book. I can turn one page forward, and back, but no further, nor can I exit. I'm even having this issue in my TTW build over in New Vegas. Any idea what the actual hell?
  5. So I fixed my earlier problem, only to have a new one. I no longer have a main menu. Now, I know, that usually means some outdated FormID. Just deactivate mods, until you find the one causing the issue. Well here's the problem. I've deactivated EVERYTHING, and the problem still occurs. I can go to my Default MO profile and load up that way, but for some reason, just deactivating all mods in my C&PD profile won't do the same. Makes think there's a different cause than usual. EDIT: Progress. I've FOUND the main menu. Sorta. When I use the arrow keys, very thin boxes highlight on the far right side of the screen. So it's there. It's just unreadable.
  6. FIXED: I'm an idiot who didn't re-enable his BSAs properly after rebuilding FO3LODGen. Okay, new issue, and I don't want to completely waste this thread. I have no main menu. I have the slideshow screens. I have "Fallout 3" visible on the side. But no main menu, and no FOSE icon in the bottom left corner.
  7. I have. It works great so far. The only trick is interacting with crafting stations. Click "R) Transfer" to craft as normal. Not very intuitive.
  8. Okay, another bad texture. I've actually had this problem every time I've modded FNV, and never been able to figure out WHY. You guys have been awesome. If the choice comes down to one or the other, I'll choose the iconic armor. EDIT2: Nope, found the culprint for the Famous Disappearing Pants. The holsters. Equip them, and some outfits turn legs invisible.
  9. I was more concerned about the retweaking of those merged patches breaking something. So far, so good. I started up, immediately got Idolized with Primm, and so far everything looks good. Won't know for certain until I hit New Vegas.
  10. Okay, one last stupid question. What IS this exactly? Just a better build merge of the two open mods? Or does it include the rest of the Uncut content as well? I ask because it has the same name as that series. Also the readme in that directory seems to say as much. So I'm guessing I need to deactivate the merged mod I made for the uncut content in F&NLV. Will I need to start a new game? I've not yet reached Novac. EDIT: Okay, I found the master list of what was merged, and I rebuilt the Cut Content, Machienzo, and Yuki Merged Patches without the ones included. That should remove any duplication errors.

  12. That was it! Redownloaded and replaced. Now it all works great. I'm glad somebody has an encyclopedic knowledge of what items go in what mods. I tried a google search and found nothing but mod requests for a "wanderer's duster"
  13. Oh, yeah, for a first playthrough, definitely. But I've done NVB1, DEIMOS, Afterschool Special, and the Bison-Steve at least a couple times now. Never done Tales of the Burning Sands though, so that's staying in for this run.
  14. Okay, I'm not sure which mod added this, but I'm using less than a half-dozen mods on top of F&LNV, and I've ruled them out. Basically, there's an armor called "Wanderer Duster", Light Armor, DT6, Chr +1, Guns +5. Great armor. Outdoors, it looks fine. INDOORS, the jacket stays the same, the top underneath transforms into black combat armor, and the legs turn transparent. I've tested this in multiple cells. Outdoors, fine. Indoors, WTF?
  15. yeah, but unlike everyone else, I find New Vegas Bounties REALLY boring after a single playthrough. The in-joke bounties lose their charm, and in the end, it's just "go here, kill x, come back, repeat" with maybe a few exceptions of another place or two to stop and look at.

  17. That's what I did, and why the install only took half the afternoon and not all bloody day. Something broke in MO, and I have no idea what, but its working now.
  18. Nope. Can't do ****, but alt-tab out and used Task Manager to kill FNV. Having a few other issues, but those are all with the mod itself, not F&LNV. One of the storage containers refuses to spawn and the auto-sorter eats equipment, shunting stuff off into an unknown netherworld, so I have to sort everything manually. Still the nicest housing mod in the game, next to Afterschool Special. It's really a shame no one else did anything like this. Reminds me of Rivet City Apartment housing mod, the best one for FO3.
  19. Welp, I got fed up, deleted my New Vegas and Mod Organizer intalls. Reinstalled them fresh, copied over the MO mods directory and the appropriate profile from a backup I made, and LO AND BEHOLD, everything works. Again, I ask... W. T. F?
  20. It's "Craftable Sellable Counterfeit Bottle Caps." I have NO idea why, but I remove that one, and it's all glorious. I turn it on, and I can't even load into the apartment or enter into it from the casino.
  21. Yes, Yes, and No. I use the Automatic Archive Invalidation feature of MO. Yes I have all the BSAs in that picture. I'm retrying the deleting INI method you described. Like an idiot, I only deleted the standard non-MO inis. EDIT: Nope, that didn't work either. Wiped the profile INIs, used the launcher to recreate them. Still no joy. EDIT2: Nothing in that thread helped. EDIT3: I've tried the Default Profile, new profiles. FNV will NOT run through Mod Organizer anymore. If I have mods enables, it crashes on a black screen. If I disable all mods, I crash on the first splash screen. If I run it without Mod Organizer, everything works fine. I mad NO CHANGES to MO last night. W. T. F.
  22. Yes, no, and no, in that order. I've never used Fallout - Invalidation.bsa. I can run the game outside of Mod Organizer without issue. If I try to run it THROUGH Mod Organizer, with mods, no mods, any profile, it will not work. The only difference is in how it fails. I've tried NVSE, 4GB loader, and the default launcher. All fail.
  23. Okay, this is ****ed up. I went to bed last night, with New Vegas + F&LNV working. I get up this morning, update the LODGen and Bashed Patch to finalize the tweaks I made last night. Game is now broken. I get a black screen for a few moments, then a crash. If I disable all mods, I get a black screen with a block for a cursor that seems to show a tiny bit of the main menu where the cursor should be, and a crash if I click on anything. I do get the ENB splash screen however. I've deleted INI files and ENB files. Nothing. Game just doesn't work anymore. WTF? If I run FNVEdit and let it load, it finds no problems.
  24. Okay, this has become a source of great frustration for me. I adore this housing mod, and it, and Afterschool Special, are the only two I need. In the past, I've had few issues using it. But I've firmly embraced the love and joy that is this STEP pack, and I've been trying to get this to work with it, to no avail. Here's my issue. I cannot successfully enter the Lucky 38 Reloaded suite. I get a loading screen, then a fade to black. I can faintly hear the in-game radio playing in the background, but that is the only indication that the game is still running. Even the backlight on the monitor goes off. I've been over the mod author's own support, and all we've been able to rule it down to is some kind of mod conflict, but I can't figure out WHAT. Here's what I've done so far in an attempt to remedy it. * Tried ESM and ESP version, making sure they're at the bottom of the load list * Removed the ILO-Lucky38.esp * Removed domecity.esm (someone claimed it edited the Lucky 38 cell) * Rebashed the Bashed Patch I'm running almost pure F&L. The only other additional mods I've got running are "The Inheritance", "Russell", Gopher's two Bounty Hunter duster mods, and a mod that adds DT6 to said dusters. The only mods I'm missing are DEIMOS (played it once ages ago and never want to play it again), Tales of the Burning Sands (same), and the mods that add a lot of "modern day" weapons, as I think they're inappropriate, lorewise. Anyone have any ideas as to which mod(s) are causing the conflict? I really adore this mod and want to use it. EDIT: Narrowed down the culprit to "Yuki's Merged Mods.esp". I'm looking over the list of the mods it contains, but nothing's jumping out at me as an obvious culprit.
  25. Have you had any luck doing that? I keep trying to use it, but every time I try to load into the suite, I just get a fade to black. I can hear the radio playing but the screen is totally dark, and I can't pull up the pipboy.
