Simple Drop Lit Torches by Snotgurg Simple Drop Lit Torches gives you simple torch handling through two configurable hotkeys: One for equipping and unequipping a torch from your inventory (plus double tap to drop a torch), and the other to directly drop a lit torch to the ground. The mod gives you the options to enable automated torch handling features if you want: automated dropping of torches, and automated equipping of torches that you pick up. Both can be further controlled to happen under certain conditions, such as when having weapons drawn or not while sneaking. The mod SM Drop Lit Torches by Strategy Master was an inspiration to this mod. The implementation of Simple DLT is completely original, however. The torch handling flow was a bit too complicated in SM Drop Lit Torches for me, inspiring me to make and release my own attempt. The following other mods are required: SkyUI (for MCM) Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE) v1.7.1+
  2. I learned from Oblivion to always stay away from this kind of mods.
  3. Tried this yesterday but honestly, I was not convinced by the result. I'm happy to comeback to vanilla choice with less ESPs.
  4. I didn't play for near 2 months, a few days ago I reverted to skse 1.7.1 (from 1.7.0 alpha) and my game is rocking, no single CTD after three days (I was frustrated by the frequency of CTDs when I was using the alpha version).
  5. I do think "Arrow Recovery From Actor" tweak in Wrye Bash (as of version 3.04.4) is not working at all (no corresponding entry is added in bashed patch). The best mod I use isABT - Recover 50% Less Arrows and Boltsfrom Arrow Tweaks mod. I only use that and "Deeper Bolt Improved" +8 unitsOthers Arrow tweaks I rely on "Weapons and Armor Fixes" mod.

Used both (in fact EFF was the first I used for months, before passing to AFT).In general AFT work better than EFF into micromanaging followers and their AI bugs, there is no comparison in this side, Dheuster has done a lot of work in his mod for more than two years, while EFF author was dispersed between several intefaces mods.However EFF can be considered as a light skse follower mod, vowed to more interface (which do not implies he is faster, quite the opposite in AFT you can controle most of your followers AI with a power which can be shotkeyed).
  7. I use this mod but only to replace vanilla F5 quicksave to "auto-save" (manual), setting auto-save disabled in the mod. I moved vanilla quicksave key to F7. Note. As said the others, if Skyrim auto-save/quicksaves may potentially lead to corrupt saves, this have to be proven.

  9. There was "Bumpy Inn and Shop Signs v3-0" in STEP 2.6.6 This mod was removed from Tesnexus some weeks ago (I don't know the reason)
  10. In the changelog, you never mentioned the removal of "Bumpy Inn Signs" (thought it was in STEP 2.2.6 ?) Also "HD Linen" in Core STEP, this choice maybe is not for every one.
  11. Personally I prefer much the look of SMIM snowy chest.
  12. Uninstalled SMIM 1.56 (via Wrye Bash Installer), deactivated the option "40 - Furniture ...", installed SMIM again, run BOSS, loaded the game and here is the result: Chest 1 without SMIM 40 - Furniture Option Chest 2 without SMIM 40 - furniture Option

Here is the "snowy chest" ... in Volunruud (maybe my memory betrayed me confusing Darkbrotherhood with Thieves Guild Quests): I have followed STEP 2.2.7 line by line with the load orders in my Wrye Bash and I have just deactivated "StaticMeshImprovementMod-FurnitureChestSnowFix.esp" from my load list and here is the result: Chest 1 Chest 2 Chest 2 texture problem
  16. The plugin StaticMeshImprovementMod-FurnitureChestSnowFix.esp from SMIM 1.5x is very important! I discovered this fact when completing the thieves guild quest in "Snow Veil Sanctum". If the preceeding plugin is not active the exterior chest near the entrance door of this ruin will look weird because its is supposed to have SMIM snow textures which are enabled only by the plugin.
  17. Thanks for all the great work and to all contributing persons of this project. BTW you should fix the changelog for claim of removal of the mod "Snow and Rocks". I followed all the day this guide and DDSopted most of my mods to 1K (including the famous Book Of Silence).
  18. From STEP 2.2.7 guide: Windmills Resized STEP recommends the "smaller version" (1.23x). The default (1.5x) has minor clipping issues with the stables in Solitude. From SkyFalls and SkyMills page: I have also made the Windmills and watermills distant animated (Compatible with and highly recommended (essential) Windmills resized! 1.5x. It was really simple to be honest, except for the Solitude mill, that was a nice challange. Also the author posted in Windmills Resized page SjoertJansen: If you use this mod in conjunction with my mod SkyMills - Animated Distant Mills The clipping issue with the bigger size is fixed!!!!!! 100% confirmed by test

On a side note, people in the tesnexus arguing about dark magicka and thousand of years supporting Oblivion gates, remember that in TES IV there was only two gates opened inside a town in the whole game, ... the Imperial City at the end of the main quest, and remember how Berthesda instantly wiped these two gate after Dagon was banned by Akatosh. So it's only Berthesda who decide who stay for centuries or thousand years in their series of games.
  20. Just tested this today (latest versions); the result is that I didn't got CTDs but two game freezes in less than one hour (which rarely happen to me).
  21. I go for Ruin Clutter Improvement concerning ruin linens as I have always found that HD-Linen textures break the old feeling of such items. Also there is "Langleys Wood Metal and Stone Textures Workshop" (mentioned in Texture Pack Combiner page) which have his own replacement of HD-Linens and Whiterun Trellis Redesigned. Don't know if anyone has tested this.
  22. version 1.7.3 Tested today with some options and I must confess this is a real addition/fix to skyrim. Waiting for the daggers to be completed.

New releases: - Better Shaped Weapons This is really a must have. - Ruins Clutter Improved v2.6 furnishes a better replacement of "HD - Linens" which I have never installed. also Texture Pack Combiner talk about Langleys Wood Metal and Stone Textures Workshop, which has a replacement of HD Linens and Whiterun Trellis Redesigned.
  25. From my experience, neither RLO nor EFLX make dungeons or night dark, and I did a lot of tests. And it's confirmed from the preceding screenshots. In my opinion RLO need a lot of finalization work on dungeon interiors and night drakness with respect the weather conditions.
