  1. BOSS is working and doesn't crash. It's just missing the rules set in BUM. BUM on the other hand isn't working at all well. Reverted last night. What I find strange about reverting from 0.99 to 0.12.9 is that MO still complains about files in \overwrite (feature from 0.99) even after you've reverted. Odd, but doesn't seem to be doing anything nasty so far.
  2. I never used UNPB. I'm using his and Nuska's newer CNHF body replacer in place of UNPB in SR-- it's a lovely piece of work, and armor conversions are going fairly fast, since there's 2-3 people doing the converting. No support at the moment for BBP, but I doubt that's much of a drawback. CNHF 2.0 will allow for UNP textures to be used, and I'm currently using the 2.0 prerelease alpha meshes in conjunction with Maevan's Mature Skin: the effect looks pretty good.
  3. The new modifications to GUI are nice though. It's a pity that BUM and BOSS are semi-broken at the moment.
  4. Heads up to those thinking of trying the new MO beta: MO 0.99 beta breaks BUM functionality. I just made a post on MO's Nexus page detailing the issue to Tannin. Long story short: BOSS launched through MO sees all mods. BOSS launched through BUM sorts ONLY the \data folder. BUM launched through MO doesn't see my load order, and it's rules are never read by BOSS.
  5. Just a note: UNPB body download is now available at TroubleMakers Clothing. Calyps took down the original UNPB main page because he felt that working further on UNPB and/or being credited with it now didn't fit with his personal beliefs as they are now-- he went into it a little on his personal tumblr-- but agreed that it be allowed to continue on partially, elsewhere, so MrTroublemaker is now hosting the NMM installler pack on his page.
  6. Hmm. Normal system idle on my Win 7 Pro x64 system consumes just under 1.7 GB RAM. I've 8GB RAM installed and my GFX card has about 1526MB or so VRAM DDR3. Not sure what Skyrim is doing with memory and CPU usage though. Would Skyrim Performance Monitor be worth trying out in this case?
  7. I regularly freeze when crafting cloaks-- I start at the tanning rack with the fur crafting kit from WIC, and bam, freeze within 20 seconds guaranteed. Have to force the game to exit from Task Manager after. It seems to be a RAM or VRAM issue somehow, since it happens even in interiors. If I don't play at fullscreen (1920x1080) res however it works fine.
  8. There've been reports that 320.18 WHQL drivers kill GPUs. O.O Better be careful and keep a copy of the previous driver at hand.
  9. I've played little Skyrim since the 1.9 patch. Is that really a noticeable issue? If so, that's hilarious that they would have left the game in a broken state. It's extremely noticeable. Lip synching is worse than Justin Bieber or Britney Spears at a live concert performing drunk.
  10. My laptop (same model as torminator's) runs at about the same temps-- idling at around 60 degrees Celcius. And that's with a cooling pad at full blast right under it at all times. Running in an airconditioned room helps though, and is probably a necessity for me considering ambient temps in my room are usually around 29 to 30 degrees Celcius in the day.
  11. You can clean them-- in fact standard best practice is clean everything before putting it into your load order-- but you'll probably find nothing. Then again with the latest xEdit release, who knows? Use the latest xEdit on the RLO plugins and anything else you feel like cleaning, and please report back if they're dirty or not.
  12. Argh. Anyone else experiencing freezes when attempting to craft fur cloaks from Winter Is Coming? I open up the crafting menu and within 30 seconds my game goes unresponsive. I'm wondering why it's doing that. Too many items/textures to cope with? I'll admit my graphics card is borderline for a full SR install, but it's been behaving fairly well thus far.
  13. If you're just merging the SR patches, you shouldn't need to renumber FormIDs-- just right clicking on the plugin and selecting "deep copy as override" should do the trick. For mods that are more complicated, then yeah, you'll probably need to renumber FormIDs.
  14. I did my SKSE update manually, no problems, worked right away. Sounds like Neo's suggestion of a bad save is probably what happened.
  15. Yup that is what I said. Also I noticed that the new SKSE lacks a SKSE folder in the Data folder AFAIK SKSE has never had a SKSE folder-- you have to make that on your own with the SKSE.ini file. The two bolded nodes above, I couldn't find. So they didn't get changed. Why couldn't I find them, and will it affect me going froward not having them changed? Unless I messed up somewhere and I can find some direction to change them. Have you tried looking for the nodes by typing the numbers into the FormID search? Easier to locate that way. It's also possible you dragged values into the wrong plugin-- I tend to do that a little too often myself.
  16. Verteiron (the mod author) said this: Note there are still inaccuracies in how regions are marked particularly the Reach; many of which are vanilla issues. Also may crash Helgen start, but that's old news, sneeze at it wrong and Helgen crashes or goes weird, doesn't it? XD Verteiron seems to be actively beating those bugs to mulch though.
  17. Been using it, no issues thus far.
  18. I tried it with the superior lore friendly hair-- to me it's nicer looking than AOF Believable Hair, but I think that the 2k version should be used despite there being 1k variants. Might need to play with the normal and tints though.
  19. Hmm. On my install it says only two files from Brawl Bugs CE are not overwritten-- which I think are the readme and the ESP file I chucked into optional. The rest seem to be in EBT as well.
  20. I have not tried the beta yet, though I am eager to try the new favourite menu :) It also requires the new SKSE which is in beta I believe. Hmm. Updated to new SKSE, made another save and reloaded again-- seems to have fixed the missing menus. Thank goodness. For a while I'd thought it'd need voodoo or a sacrifice to the Daedra or something.
  21. Well not like all the MCM menus are missing-- just some of them. It's aggravating. I'm starting my game from a immediately post Helgen save-- did the Helgen intro with nothing but Vanilla Skyrim, consoled my character her previous appearance and progress from the last test game, then added the whole set of SR mods and extras. Would that affect anything? Should I start posting load order here?
  22. I'm missing MCM menus for several mods in SR, most notably Frostfall and iHUD. I get the start up messages and iHUD seems to be working because my cursor and compass are gone but no MCM. Any ideas how to get those back?
  23. Anyone here finding their MCM section in game is missing mods? Frostfall's MCM doesn't show up for me consistently despite having ample time to load, no idea why.
  24. Problem with Skulltyrant's CSR is that IIRC those skeletons aren't complete, they're missing information so that animations won't work well.
