IPB does indeed use Lightbox. The old forums I used Highslide which I find more powerful and customizable. I will be implementing a similar solution here and wanted to be working on it by now, but I've been on call this week and haven't had the time. Will be getting started soon though.

I just noticed this at the top when finding content: (Search limited from 06-February 14) There is a global setting to limit results returned for the content type searches. I upped it to 60 days. If you want to search outside of that, you will have to do an advanced search.
-
That function is not endless in what will be searched. There is a maximum number of results that will be returned, and Zed is a posting machine, which is why it seems to stop on February 6. To expand on that, you will have to do advanced searching. Click on the gear next to the Search box at the top. Fill in the "Find Author" field, and select an expanded date range you would like to search for.

@Tech You have the correct group assignment. I will try and do some more digging, but you should have access. For External Edit, it still works for me (using XExternalEditor). I have had a couple occasions where the ini file it generates somehow became corrupt, and deleting it and letting it recreate fixed the issue. The file will be located in %USERPROFILE%XExternalEditorwiki_step-project_com.ini

Indeed, great job on updating the skin to make it more bearable.

Actually, roughly 40% of people like dark themes, but that's mostly because dark themes done right can be effective at giving an air of elegance. Beyond that, studies have shown that light text on dark backgrounds is harder to read than dark on light, especially for those with astigmatism. I'm personally becoming less a fan of dark sites for forums or blogs, or anything that has any information worth reading. The only thing that strains my eyes more is a pure white background. A light theme will definitely be planned.

Awesome work everyone!

Keep in mind that recent threads or posts is only ever going to be a small snapshot. You will always get far more information via View New Content. -
The US is in the minority for using 12 hour format. I'm used to 24 hour time myself, and prefer it on all my clocks when I have the choice. But we may get a lot of complaints by switching to 24 hour time, as 40% of our visits are from the US. Not seeing any available addons for this, so will put on my list of things to attempt to work up to provide a user option.

Updated Template:Pack
-
Thanks for pointing that out. Updated my post above and the Snow & Rocks HD page on the Wiki. EDIT: Edited the Template so it adds the dash (-). Only the ID is required (number is enforced).
-
Not at the user level, which is very odd indeed.
-
There are no user options for configuring time format unfortunately. We can change it board wide, however. I personally prefer 24 hour time format as well.

I have updated the Semantic Form and the Mod Template to use the new structure. The field now takes the ID portion at the end the URL path for a thread. I have updated the Snow & Rocks HD as an example. In this case, the URL to the thread is https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1358-snow-and-rocks-textures-hd-by-darevix/. On the Wiki page at https://wiki.step-project.com/Snow_%26_Rocks_HD, edit with form, and entered the ID noted in the title 1358 in the Forum Thread Title field. If there are any questions, let me know. EDIT: Updated based on CJ2311's info.

Skin options are an interim solution, so please bear with us until a custom STEP skin can be made. We can look at doing some tweaks, but we are currently focused on getting things fixed and working functionality wise after the move.

Fixed.

A feature that is now available is Best Answer, where moderators can designate a post in a support thread as the Best Answer. Once this is done, the thread will be tagged with "answered". Forums which have this feature enabled, also have a link towards the top that allows a user to sort the view based on "answered" and "unanswered", making filtering easy. As many of you have noticed, the Answered sub-forums have been removed, and the posts that were contained within them moved into the appropriate parent forum. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, none of them had a post marked as Best Answer. We will be going through the list of threads that were in MyBB to identify the threads that need to be marked. For those that manage a forum in Support and Troubleshooting, we will be compiling a list of threads as they existed in MyBB so that they can be sifted through and the appropriate posts can be marked accordingly.
-
Sadly, it won't be that easy, since the thread IDs got changed randomly as well :|Thanks for verifying. Have some manual work to do then.

The Mod Form/Template needs to be updated to support IPB URL's. It may be as simple as just updating those two and the information will auto-correct in the Mod pages. I'll take a look tonight.

Who keeps locking these threads. Unlocked. -
IPB Authentication has been fixed and re-enabled.
-
I replied in the announcement thread. It has nothing to do with directory move. Enabling php errors, I'm seeing messages related to IPB indexes not being found, so something about using their API for the authentication plugin is interfering. Just haven't nailed down a fix yet. Reverted to MyBB auth for the time being so everyone can edit. This will only be viable for accounts that existed before the switch to IPB for the time being, so shouldn't be an issue for the time being.

@PlanetExp Reading too much into my statement. Disk space is not a problem for those texts. My point was they add no informative value to a post, but one could assign value based on the disk space they consume. Which is extremely small. Thus making their monetary value effectively 0 in relation to the conglomerate of data. And no, I don't buy the arguments of knowing that a user is posting via mobile provides any beneficial information (which I deem to be presented facts). What I've seen in this regard is an attempt to profile intent or character of an individual and their posts. Both are subject to ones own prejudices and interpretations, which to me enforces the lack of any real value. The closest thing to a valid argument (yet I consider to still be a stretch, but is why I suggested an icon as an alternative) is having a sort of short-circuit flag, to cause one to wonder if a post that doesn't make any sense was the victim of auto-correct. However, I would counter that such posts are generally easy to spot anyway. The only thing I would add in regards to a "mobile indicator" is that some users may not want it to be known that they are on a mobile device, which is one of the motivators for disabling them client side. In closing, yes I find them annoying. My own prejudice is also at play, as they are a form of advertisement (hard when "tapatalk" is left by default, and soft when users edit "taptalk" out). I'm merely voicing my opinion, and subsequent vote to remove them. -

Low and behold, there is a way to disable the Tapatalk Sent from messages. They have an option on their website to disable for a registered forum. I'm for disabling them. IMO they serve no real purpose other than adding useless text to a post. If a post doesn't make sense, that is the fault of the poster, not the reader, and relying on a block of text with no informational value as an attempt to gain insight into a person or their contribution makes no sense to me. We could look into having an icon associate with a post to let you know if a message was sent via tapatalk or mobile to satisfy those that want to know, but I say get rid of the text which has absolutely no intrinsic value, other than the calculated cost of the disk they ultimately get written to. -

I tend to agree with the OP and find the "sent from my..." messages annoying. I completely disable them on all of my mobile apps where allowed. Seeing them from others doesn't make me think any differently about what I'm reading, nor will it ever. Crap posts are still crap posts regardless of what device they are sent from, and knowing that crap came from a mobile doesn't offer any magical insight. That said, not worth pursuing to prevent them at the moment.
