  1. Another thing that popped up, which is not so much F&L related, is there a mod that increases ground clutter? Ruined cities feel so empty :( EDIT: Wait, what? Why did it doublepost ? :(
  2. Ok, success! I still see some texture errors upon load sometimes, which is fixed by reloading, but no more mismatches or missing face textures. As far as I can tell right now anyways. One of the main reasons I want to use an ENB, and the reason I chose Rudy's for that, is because the "bleakness" hides the low poly meshes and not-so-good textures pretty well :P
  3. I have on falloutprefs. As per the guide. Not on fallout.ini though. Will give it a try now. Would that also fix some missing (purple) head textures I'm seeing here and there? And no, I don't plan to play without ENB/ENNBoost, just doing some testing :)

Still on the topic of ghouls, Raul's hands are mismatched :( It's using the bloodier, redder texture (a prime example would be the left screenshot in Jax's post), while his head is the more beige version. Also, on a similar note, when choosing the ghoul race, the hands are purple. Is this a thing? (FCO author mentions the races are not fully functional, just for screenshot purposes). Also spawned Rotface, he's fine. And on a completely unrelated note, I can't decide on an ENB. I set off to use Rudy, but the New Vegas Redesigned author heavily advices against it. My whole will to start playing FNV again was based on a new 4k Rudy video :P EDIT: Adding screens for reference. Please ignore horrible horrible first pic pixelation, was running 0 AF and AA in preparation for ENB. Will have to wait for now though as I have discovered a few more issues. Raul mismatch: Another mismatch: Also, sometimes, when loading in areas, sometimes I get texture missing errors, fixed by reloading. Last but not least, I got carried away when installing, however, I noticed I have more than 135 plugins installed. Isn't that too much? I followed the guide to the letter, merging plugins and so on, and even omitted the extra weapon packs (EssArrBee's recommendations and the extra Millenia weapons). On the topic of mismatch, I have a feeling its NV Redesigned, I had similar issues in the past which I hoped were fixed :/
  5. Something relatively minor that popped up. In the installation for roberts male bodies, it's mentioned that ""If black bars are showing on male bodies in game, try ticking or unticking the BSA for Roberts Males. If that does not work check that no other mod than aMidianBorn Book of Water, ALR - Aptom's Legion Retextured, Ghouls Hires retexture, or Wasteland clothing Hires retexture overwrite Roberts Males." However, it's not overwritten by Ghouls Hires retex. In fact, it overwrites it. What I think is that at the time of writing, Robert's male bodies used to be a BSA, which is not the case anymore. Anyways, do you think I should move Ghouls below Roberts? I really like them ghouls :P
  6. Instead of making a new thread, I figured I would ask here, as I have no idea about FNV inis. I'm in the process of installing Fear and loathing, and at the ini tweaks section there is an instruction for fGrassStartFadeDistance = 17000. I have no such setting but instead 3, "fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0","fGrassDeaultStartFadeDistance3500.0" and "fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0". Should I add a third line or modify one of the existing ones? The reason I'm asking is that there is mention of fGrassStartFadeDistance = 7000 in the OP and in my case that's fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance.

I hate starting yet another thread, but I did a search and the only two comparable threads where Missing Whiterun Distant Textures, which might be connected but is not the same issue, and the modpage for Distant Overhaul, in which MadWizard25 describes the exact issue I'm facing. I was about to post some screenshots, but his old screenshot does the trick, as it's the exact same issue. He does mention something about WB overwrite but no direct solution and since I'm using MO I'm at a loss. I'm using a STEP base with some of the extended mods. I am using Distance Overhaul. Nothing overwrites it in MO. Any help would be appreciated. EDIT: And here is mine :

From the moment I wrote that comment up until now I've been doing just that, going through IA armors to decide which ones to use, on a basis of: a)Likelihood of a bandit (since this is where LLs become more noticeable, really) getting their hands on one b) Stats that match Morrowloot's mandate, since with Morrowloot high level armors are much harder to find. I've nailed it down to: Edit: Some thoughts specifically on Einherjar and Barbarian armors. While the barbarian armor is really something noone would really use in real life, I see it as a lack of armor. The person wearing it is too poor to afford a real piece of armor so they make do with what they can find. Einherjar features a dragon skull. While that might be considered "not lore friendly" for a bandit to have armor adorned with dragon skulls, the quest where Alduin resurrects that Dragon made me realize Skyrim is littered with Dragon graveyards. Specifically, the word wall locations. As such, one doesn't really need to kill a dragon to have an ornamental dragon skull. As for bandanas, I simply dislike them :P
  9. Ok this is more of a balance question than anything. I know you mention disabling all item distribution for Immersive Armors and I know IA handplaces some of the sets. I can totally see why this is preferable along with morrowloot. My question really is, what if someone were to hand pick specific sets, mostly low level, to distribute around for the sake of NPC variation? Shields come to mind, mostly. Would that break Morrowloot function by a huge margin? (Replacing unique items for example)
  10. Ok this might be a very basic question, but I have never used a follower in Skyrim. More than 300 hours played and I've never used one apart from Serana (which you can't avoid at some parts). So I have very limited knowledge about even vanilla follower functions. I'm only using one custom house mod, Castle Stonespire. It adds a couple very basic followers as guards to the place, which are also Essential. What I want to do is remove the Essential status, so they can die. And when or if they do, I can move other followers in their place. I know how to do most of that, but from my understanding, you can't move followers to a home. You need a mod like my Home is your home. Is that correct? Any tips on the general direction I should take for doing that?
  11. Pretty much what the title mentions. Tried waiting up to 10 days after the Solitude execution thing. His dialogues are all working, except he won't sell things. Disabled/Enabled him, still in Bits and Pieces. Teleported him to the forge, he would sell me stuff, but after I closed the menu he walked straight back to Bits and Pieces. I checked Tes5edit, mods that use him as a reference are 3DNPCs, Trade and Barter, and USKP. I'm also using Live another life, is it a conflict with that? I haven't started the MQ neither have I done the LAL quest. Enclosing load order in spoilers, MOM.esp is the merged patch for Modular Morrowloot Overhaul.

Just wanted to thank TechAngel85 and anyone else involved into this as it provides an easy and well done solution for those of us who want better looking females and can't be bothered to do much about it. Two things I noticed, and they might be mentioned, in which case, forgive me, but I can't really read all of the thread: This overwrites better freckles. That's fine, but it seems to remove them too. Aella had none with this mod for example. A simple solution is to move Better Freckles after it. Secondly, and this is a bit more complex I suppose, some generic Dark Elf NPCs are no longer grey. With this mod installed they are more erm, brown-ish? Could this be the ENB? (Color turns back to light ash grey if I remove this mod) Not a huge deal, though, and none of the named NPCs are affected. Other than that, I loaded up all my favourite female NPCs and they look much better.

Alright, one final issue and I can (hopefully!) start playing after 3 days of mod installation :P You mention this: Weapons and armor fixes_remade.esp (Delev, Names, Stats) [Remove Relev] But my esp only has the Stats tag, should I add delev and names or leave it as is? I'm using your replacement plugin.
  15. Alright, another thing I'd like to ask: Any of you tried Alternative Crafting System- I don't want to be a blacksmith with MMO? Does it work well? It's also recommended by the Morrowloot 4E author.
  16. Aha, thanks for clarifying. I'll continue according to plan. About morrowloot, I thought as much initially, but then again I didn't notice there was an esp in the mesh fix, hence my confusion. Feel free to grumble at mod users jumping and bothering with questions without double-checking themselves, totally justifiable :D
  17. Yeah, neither AOS nor CFH are masters to any patch, I realized that shortly after posting. A few things that came up: First of all in Morrowloot 4e, you mention adding bash tags on morrowloot.esp, but then it gets deleted? Are we supposed to make the bashed patch before deleting it? I'm sorry if this sounds stupid, it's the first time I bother so much with leveled lists, as such, I'm kinda walking in blind :P Also, Immersive Armors. What exactly does your patch do to it? Are the high level armors completely gone? (Especially the Daedric Lord armor, which I'm going to use as a replacer if that's the case). Thanks for the replies.
  18. Thank you for taking the time to make this guide, it's wonderful. Now, on to some installation questions. I do not use all of the STEP mods. I've been looking into your patches, most of it is fine, but I'm concerned about these mainly: Revenge of the enemies, end game NPCs and of course, Morrowloot. Mods I don't use from the required STEP mods for the patches: Audio overhaul SkyrimImproved Closefaced Helmets ( I personally think most of them look horrible, even if a bit more "immersive", but I digress)What can I do? I mainly skipped Audio Overhaul because, while I appreciate it, I am content with vanilla sounds enough to not bother with all those patches AOS needs. I suppose I can install that if needed. As for ICH, I simply don't like the mod, and I'd really like to not have to install it.
  19. Yeah the 970s seem to run pretty cool. Still, the way the heat dissipates from the WF3 cooler (below and in front of it), I wouldn't like two of them even with a small profile. But yeah, if your flow is ok it shouldn't be that much of an issue. I'm a bit of a cooling junkie, so I might be overreacting in the end.
  20. Holy moly, I implore you to do the armors too at some point (even if you just add the lettering). It was an idea I had a while back, adding the lettering but my texturing skills are not on par yet. Outstanding job.
  21. I wouldn't get the Windforce cooler for SLI though. I have the 780TI WF3 from gigabyte (essentially the same cooler) and the thing doesn't exhaust from the back AT ALL. It all goes back in the case. So you'll need some nice case cooling or temps might get a bit on the high side.
  22. I've been wondering the same. Might even try and sell the 780ti at the 980 cost (would be doable if not for the dip in the economy). I'm having some serious FPS drops with ENB on, and although it might be user error, every bit of help is worth it in my opinion.

  24. Yeah, I know, the installer for SPERG seems to be borked. I had done that though and the uncapper was still not working. HOWEVER, it randomly decided to start working today. And I have changed nothing. So I'm not really sure what the heck is going on :P Still no splash though.
